Lapa (Line 8) (CPTM)

The Subprefecture of Lapa is one of 32 subprefectures of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It comprises six districts: Lapa, Barra Funda, Perdizes, Vila Leopoldina, Jaguaré, and Jaguara.In the north area of Lapa, which comprises the bairros of Barra Funda, Água Branca and the "Low Lapa" (Lapa de baixo) most of the people are descendants of proletarian families who once worked in the two main railways of the city: São Paulo Railway and the Sorocabana. Today, both of these railways station have become local urban train stations. The southern area of the subprefecture, which includes the "High Lapa" (Alto da Lapa) and the bairros of Perdizes, Sumaré and Pompéia, is a high-class area and has many historic buildings, and has many descendant of the English engineers who built the railways. Also the main campus of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) is located in this place, in the district of Perdizes, as well as Allianz Arena, home of the football team Palmeiras.

Lapa is a train station on CPTM Line 7-Ruby, in the district of Lapa in São Paulo.

Santa Marina will be one of the future stations of São Paulo Metro and will belong to Line 6-Orange, which is under construction. In its first phase, with 15.9 km (9.9 mi) of extension, Line 6 should connect Brasilândia, in the North Side, to São Joaquim station of Line 1-Blue. Later, the line should connect Rodovia dos Bandeirantes to the borough of Cidade Líder, in the East Side. The station will be located in the confluence between Avenida Miguel Conejo, Rua Bonifácio Cubas and Travessa da Mona Lisa.The construction of the station began in 2016, when the opening date was estimated to mid-2020. Later, Governor Geraldo Alckmin promised the opening of the first phase of the line to 2020, time which was discarded due to a year of delay in the financing of the Federal Savings Bank, which would be used for the expropriations. In June 2016, the opening of the line was estimated for 2021, time kept in October 2017, when the resume of the construction was announced for the beginning of 2018. Currently, the construction is suspended, due to the involvement of the construction companies of the Move São Paulo consortium (Odebrecht, Queiroz Galvão, UTC Participações) in Operation Car Wash, which caused them to not get the financing of R$ 5.5 billions (US$ 1,575,344,427.58) with the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) for the continuity of the construction. The State Government of São Paulo is currently in negotiations with international companies, including Spanish Acciona and Chinese China Railway Construction Corporation.

The Week International (Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈdɛ ˈwik(ɪ) ˌĩteɾˈnɛʃõnaw], often just referred to as The Week) is an after hours LGBT nightclub located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Opened in September 2004, in Lapa, and became in the moment the biggest gay nightclub of São Paulo, Brazil, and Latin America. The massive 64,000-square-foot (5,900 m2) nightclub features two dancefloors, a garden, a pool, several bars, valet parking, and a vip area. Bringing in over 2,500 people every weekend, over the past years The Week was responsible not only for significant changes in São Paulo nightlife in general. The club's constant strive for innovation and quality has become one of the driving forces in Brazil's changing club scene, and has forced several other business to raise their standards. The success of The Week São Paulo has resulted in the opening of a branch in Rio de Janeiro in July 2007, and in branch in Florianópolis in 2008. The latter is open seasonally during the months of summer. Most recently, The Week has also signed a partnership with Matinee Group in Spain, which has already brought parties to Brazil and will be able to host The Week parties with a Brazilian flair throughout Europe.

Estádio Nicolau Alayon, also known as Estádio Comendador Sousa, is a football (soccer) stadium located in the Brazilian city of São Paulo, São Paulo state. It is the home stadium of Brazilian football club Nacional Atlético Clube, also known as Nacional (SP), and Audax São Paulo Esporte Clube. It has a maximum capacity of 9,660. The stadium is named after the Uruguayan Nicolau Alayon, who was Nacional's president during the stadium's construction. The stadium is nicknamed Comendador Sousa after the street where it is located in.

Allianz Parque, also known as Palestra Itália Arena, is a multipurpose stadium in São Paulo, Brazil, built to receive shows, concerts, corporate events, and especially football matches of Palmeiras, the site owner. The stadium has a capacity of 43,713 spectators. The stadium has one of the most modern multipurpose spaces in the country, and its stadium meets all of FIFA's standards, accrediting it to receive the most relevant sports tournaments. With construction starting in 2010, and planning by Portuguese architect Tomás Taveira. The new stadium was built by the company WTorre Properties/Arenas, belonging to WTorre Group, located on the same place of the old Palestra Itália Stadium, also popularly known as Parque Antárctica.

The Palestra Itália Stadium (Portuguese: Estádio Palestra Itália), was a football stadium located in Barra Funda, São Paulo, standing on the site now occupied by the Allianz Parque stadium. It was the home ground of Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras from 1917 to 2010, and was also known as Parque Antártica after Companhia Antarctica de Bebidas, a beverages company from which Palmeiras acquired the property in 1920. In the past its capacity was listed as 35,000 spectators, however, even though its grandstands have been extended in the late 1990s, the stadium had 27,650 seats due to regulations enforcing improved safety and comfort, before was demolished in November 2010. It was one of the most important Brazilian stadiums, considering the amount of decisive and important matches played there, most of them with the presence of Palmeiras. Examples of games played in Palestra Itália include the second leg of the 1999 Copa Libertadores Finals, the Copa Mercosur finals of 1998, 1999 and 2000, 1996 Copa do Brasil final and several Campeonato Paulista finals. One of the 2000 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A final matches, between São Caetano and Vasco was played at Palestra Itália. One of the 2004 Copa do Brasil final matches, between Santo André and Flamengo was played there too. Besides football matches, the Palestra Itália Stadium, often hosted important Brazilian and international musical events because of its central location in São Paulo, like A-ha, Human Rights Now!, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Aerosmith, David Bowie and Guns N' Roses. On May 22, 2010, Palmeiras played against Grêmio for the Série A on Palestra Itália, it was the last official game played by Palmeiras in the stadium due to the beginning of the new stadium's construction. The last match played by Palmeiras on Palestra Italia was a friendly against Boca Juniors on July 9, 2010.

The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP, Portuguese: Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo) is a public foundation located in São Paulo, Brazil, with the aim of providing grants, funds and programs to support research, education and innovation of private and public institutions and companies in the state of São Paulo. It was founded in 1962 and is maintained by endowments by the State government which are guaranteed as a fixed percentage of the State's tax, besides the income generated by the financial revenues of its own assets. FAPESP is an important institution for Brazilian science. Its investment on directed and priority projects, such as genomic science and industrial innovation, has resulted in a great international visibility for Brazilian science and technology. It has also supported the use of digital information technologies in São Paulo, such as the Academic Network of São Paulo (the academic Internet provider in the state), SciElo (a digital library), and a pioneering network of virtual research institutes. FAPESP is active in the popularization of science. It publishes a science magazine, Pesquisa FAPESP, which has been awarded the José Reis Award for the Divulgation of Science by the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).

Piqueri is a train station on CPTM Line 7-Ruby, in the district of Pirituba in São Paulo. In the future, it will attend another CPTM line, still with no color or number defined, which should connect Piqueri station with the future Monte Belo station, in Butantã.

Vila Madalena is a station on Line 2 (Green) of the São Paulo Metro and as of July 2021 is the current terminus.
