Água Branca will be one of the future stations of São Paulo Metro and will belong to Line 6-Orange, which is under construction. In its first phase, with 15.9 km (9.9 mi) of extension, Line 6 should connect Brasilândia, in the North Side, to São Joaquim station of Line 1-Blue. Later, the line should connect Rodovia dos Bandeirantes to the borough of Cidade Líder, in the East Side. The station will be located in Avenida Santa Marina, next to the CPTM station.The construction of the station began in 2016, when the opening date was estimated to mid-2020. Later, Governor Geraldo Alckmin promised the opening of the first phase of the line to 2020, time which was discarded due to a year of delay in the financing of the Federal Savings Bank, which would be used for the expropriations. In June 2016, the opening of the line was estimated for 2021, time kept in October 2017, when the resume of the construction was announced for the beginning of 2018. Currently, the construction is suspended, due to the involvement of the construction companies of the Move São Paulo consortium (Odebrecht, Queiroz Galvão, UTC Participações) in Operation Car Wash, which caused them to not get the financing of R$ 5.5 billions (US$ 1,575,344,427.58) with the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) for the continuity of the construction. The State Government of São Paulo is currently in negotiations with international companies, including Spanish Acciona and Chinese China Railway Construction Corporation.

Bringing in over 2,500 people every weekend, over the past years The Week was responsible not only for significant changes in São Paulo nightlife in general. The club's constant strive for innovation and quality has become one of the driving forces in Brazil's changing club scene, and has forced several other business to raise their standards. The success of The Week São Paulo has resulted in the opening of a branch in Rio de Janeiro in July 2007, and in branch in Florianópolis in 2008. The latter is open seasonally during the months of summer. Most recently, The Week has also signed a partnership with Matinee Group in Spain, which has already brought parties to Brazil and will be able to host The Week parties with a Brazilian flair throughout Europe.

Água Branca is a train station on CPTM Line 7-Ruby, in the district of Água Branca in São Paulo. In the future, it will be connected with São Paulo Metro/Move São Paulo Line 6-Orange and CPTM Line 8-Diamond and Regional Trains (Americana↔Santos and Sorocaba↔Pindamonhangaba).

Allianz Parque, also known as Palestra Itália Arena, is a multipurpose stadium in São Paulo, Brazil, built to receive shows, concerts, corporate events, and especially football matches of Palmeiras, the site owner. The stadium has a capacity of 43,713 spectators. The stadium has one of the most modern multipurpose spaces in the country, and its stadium meets all of FIFA's standards, accrediting it to receive the most relevant sports tournaments. With construction starting in 2010, and planning by Portuguese architect Tomás Taveira. The new stadium was built by the company WTorre Properties/Arenas, belonging to WTorre Group, located on the same place of the old Palestra Itália Stadium, also popularly known as Parque Antárctica.

The Palestra Itália Stadium (Portuguese: Estádio Palestra Itália), was a football stadium located in Barra Funda, São Paulo, standing on the site now occupied by the Allianz Parque stadium. It was the home ground of Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras from 1917 to 2010, and was also known as Parque Antártica after Companhia Antarctica de Bebidas, a beverages company from which Palmeiras acquired the property in 1920. In the past its capacity was listed as 35,000 spectators, however, even though its grandstands have been extended in the late 1990s, the stadium had 27,650 seats due to regulations enforcing improved safety and comfort, before was demolished in November 2010. It was one of the most important Brazilian stadiums, considering the amount of decisive and important matches played there, most of them with the presence of Palmeiras. Examples of games played in Palestra Itália include the second leg of the 1999 Copa Libertadores Finals, the Copa Mercosur finals of 1998, 1999 and 2000, 1996 Copa do Brasil final and several Campeonato Paulista finals. One of the 2000 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A final matches, between São Caetano and Vasco was played at Palestra Itália. One of the 2004 Copa do Brasil final matches, between Santo André and Flamengo was played there too. Besides football matches, the Palestra Itália Stadium, often hosted important Brazilian and international musical events because of its central location in São Paulo, like A-ha, Human Rights Now!, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Aerosmith, David Bowie and Guns N' Roses. On May 22, 2010, Palmeiras played against Grêmio for the Série A on Palestra Itália, it was the last official game played by Palmeiras in the stadium due to the beginning of the new stadium's construction. The last match played by Palmeiras on Palestra Italia was a friendly against Boca Juniors on July 9, 2010.

It comprises six districts: Lapa, Barra Funda, Perdizes, Vila Leopoldina, Jaguaré, and Jaguara.In the north area of Lapa, which comprises the bairros of Barra Funda, Água Branca and the "Low Lapa" (Lapa de baixo) most of the people are descendants of proletarian families who once worked in the two main railways of the city: São Paulo Railway and the Sorocabana. Today, both of these railways station have become local urban train stations. The southern area of the subprefecture, which includes the "High Lapa" (Alto da Lapa) and the bairros of Perdizes, Sumaré and Pompéia, is a high-class area and has many historic buildings, and has many descendant of the English engineers who built the railways. Also the main campus of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) is located in this place, in the district of Perdizes, as well as Allianz Arena, home of the football team Palmeiras.

Palmeiras–Barra Funda or just Barra Funda is a station on Line 3-Red of the São Paulo Metro and CPTM Line 7-Ruby and ViaMobilidade Line 8-Diamond of the commuter train. The metro station is inside the Palmeiras–Barra Funda Intermodal Terminal, a major transit station in São Paulo. The complex contains municipal, intercity, and metropolitan bus lines; metro; and commuter rail terminals. Since 2006, the station was known as Palmeiras–Barra Funda, named after football club Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras.

Palmeiras-Barra Funda Intermodal Terminal is the second largest intermodal transportation hub in São Paulo, Brazil. The terminal has access to the São Paulo Metro, CPTM commuter rail, and numerous bus lines.
