Seattle Coffee Works (SCW) is a third-wave coffee company based in Seattle, in the U.S. state of Washington. The business was established in 2006 and operates three coffee shops. In addition to the flagship in downtown Seattle, SCW has outposts in Ballard and South Lake Union, called Ballard Coffee Works and Cascade Coffee Works, respectively. A location on Capitol Hill called Capitol Coffee Works opened in 2017 and closed c. 2022. Previously independently owned and operated by Pipo Bui, Oscar García, and roast master Sebastian Simsch, SCW was acquired by Vibe Coffee Group in 2022. SCW has garnered a positive reception and has been deemed one of the best coffee shops in the city, Washington, and the United States by various publications and media outlets. In 2011, Andrew Zimmern visited the flagship for a 2012 episode of the Travel Channel series Bizarre Foods America.

The Emerald is a mixed-use 40-story skyscraper in downtown Seattle, Washington, United States. The tower includes 262 luxury condominiums, retail space, and amenity spaces on outdoor terraces. It began construction in July 2017 and was completed in October 2020.

The Colonnade Hotel first known as the Stimson Block then later the Standard Hotel, Gateway Hotel and Gatewood Hotel is a historic hotel building in Seattle, Washington located at the Southeast corner of 1st Avenue and Pine Streets in the city's central business district. One of the earliest extant solo projects of architect Charles Bebb, it was built in 1900 by Charles and Fred Stimson, owners of the Stimson lumber mill at Ballard, for use as a hotel. It served that purpose under its various names until the early 1980s and after a brief vacancy was restored into low-income housing by the Plymouth Housing Group. Once owned by the Samis Foundation, it was sold to various LLC owners who would convert it back into a hotel in 2017, currently operating under the name Palihotel. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 7, 2007 and became a City of Seattle Landmark in 2017.

Helios, also known as 2nd & Pine, is a residential skyscraper in downtown Seattle, Washington. The 40-story tower is 440 feet (130 m) tall with 398 luxury apartments. Plans for the project were first proposed in 2013 and construction began in late 2014. It is located at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Pine Street near the Pike Place Market and the city's retail core. Architects Weber Thompson and GBD Architects, working on the project in a joint venture, described the tower's design as "slender and sculpted". It sits atop a podium, housing 3,000 square feet (280 m2) of retail space, with a terra-cotta facade. The building also includes Zipcar parking spaces, electric vehicle charging stations, bicycle parking, low-energy appliances, and other environmentally-friendly features in a bid to earn a LEED rating.The five-story, 217-stall underground parking garage extends north from the tower's lot to a site that will be occupied by a 16-story hotel developed by Widewaters Group.

Thompson Seattle is a boutique hotel in Seattle, Washington, United States. Part of the Hyatt's Thompson brand, it opened on June 1, 2016. The 12-story four-star hotel has 152 rooms and five types of suites. It is located in Downtown Seattle and is a block uphill from Pike Place Market. When it opened, Thompson Seattle originally was owned by John Pritzker's Commune Hotels & Resorts. Hyatt became the owner in 2018. The architectural firm Olson Kundig designed Thompson Seattle, which is part of a mixed-use development that includes 95 serviced apartments. The hotel has a geometric glass outer structure and floor-to-ceiling windows from which guests can see the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound's Elliott Bay. The hotel was built on a former parking lot by Turner Construction. Hotel rooms follow the mid-century modern design and have a masculine aesthetic. Rooms offer different kinds of views including of the water, the courtyard, and the city. The Nest, a rooftop bar on the 13th floor, provides views of the city and Puget Sound, offering cocktails named after birds and small bites. Scout, which opened in 2016, was a restaurant at Thompson Seattle that offered a woodland cabin-inspired atmosphere and a menu focused on Pacific Northwest ingredients. It ceased operations in 2019 for a complete overhaul. In its place, Conversation opened later that year, offering a menu with international and regional cuisine and encouraging in-person interaction. The hotel has a tiny, no-frills gym and a concierge service.

The Eitel Building is an eight-story hotel building at the corner of Pike Street and 2nd Avenue in Downtown Seattle, Washington, United States. Originally built by the Eitel Brothers in 1904 to house medical offices, the building had been mostly vacant since the 1970s and described as an eyesore. In 2016, after several attempted purchases by local developers, the Eitel Building was sold to a development company that announced its intent to convert the building into a boutique hotel. The hotel renovation, which also added the eighth floor, cost $16 million and was completed in early 2019.

Fifteen Twenty-One Second Avenue is a 134 m (440 ft) residential skyscraper in Seattle, Washington. Designed by Weber Thompson, the 38-story tower contains 143 individual condominium homes. The building is located near the historic Pike Place Market. Construction was completed in late 2008.
