Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara is a small village in the Petaling Jaya Utara (PJU6) section of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This village is located between Bandar Utama Damansara, Damansara Jaya and Damansara Utama. It shares the postcode 47400 with Damansara Utama which lies to the east and adjacent to PJU6.

The Al Mujaheddin Mosque (Malay: Masjid Al Mujaheddin) is a mosque in Damansara Utama, Selangor, Malaysia. Located near the roundabout of Damansara Utama where Damansara Uptown is, the Al Mujaheddin Mosque is more than just a place of worship. In the compound, there is an Islamic school going by the name SRA Al-Mujahiddeen. SRA stands for Sekolah Agama Rakyat or People's Religious School. It is where some Muslim residents send their children to get in-depth teachings on Islamic faith.

Bandar Utama Damansara is a residential township located within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is a residential suburb and home to the popular 1 Utama Shopping Centre. Bandar Utama Damansara, together with neighbouring Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, form the PJU 6 section of the city of Petaling Jaya. Bandar Utama Damansara is represented in parliament by the MP for Damansara, Tony Pua and State Assemblywoman for Bandar Utama, Jamaliah Jamaluddin.

Damansara Utama is a suburb of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The suburb is divided into two sections, SS20 in the east and SS21 in the west which are separated in the middle by the Damansara–Puchong Expressway, a heavily used six-lane expressway. It has a population of about 142,000 people. It is also within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling District. Also the place of death of Toh Puan Suhaila binti Tan Sri Mohammad Noah, wife of former (3rd) Prime Minister, Tun Hussein Onn.

Damansara Jaya is a township consisting of Sections SS22 and SS22A of the city of Petaling Jaya in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is situated within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling district. It covers an estimated area of 1.21 km2 (0.467 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 11,678 residents. The township consists of almost 2000 residential dwellings consisting of 1538 units of terraced houses, 179 semi-detached housing units and 42 bungalows along with a main commercial area (coordinates: 3°7′38.35″N 101°36′58.87″E). The Atria, originally called the Gardenia Town Centre for a brief period of time, is a shopping mall located in the centre of this commercial area. Damansara Jaya is also home to KDU College (previously known as Kolej Damansara Utama) and SMK Damansara Jaya, a government co-educational secondary school.

It is managed by Star Media Radio Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star Media Group Berhad. 988 FM began broadcasting in 1996 as a trilingual radio station, with 50% Chinese content and became a fully-fledged radio station in December 1997. In the surverys conducted by GfK for 2020, 988 FM commanded a weekly listenership of 2.02 million. This amounted to 42% of listeners from the total listenership of Malaysian Chinese radio stations. The BU11 LRT station is a Light Rapid Transit (LRT) station that serve the suburb of BU11 Bandar Utama , Petaling Jaya Malaysia serves as one of the stations on the Shah Alam line. The station is located next to SPRINT Highway Damansara Toll Plaza.The station is an elevated rapid transit station in forming part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.The station is marked as Station No. 3 along with the RM9 billion line project with the line's maintenance depot located in Johan Setia, Klang. The BU11 LRT station is expected to be operational in February 2024 and will have facilities such as multi-story park and ride, kiosks, restrooms, elevators, taxi stand, and feeder bus among others.

3 Damansara Shopping Mall (formerly Tropicana City Mall) is a mixed-used buildings which consists of shopping malls, an office block and condominiums. This building is located in Damansara Utama, a suburb in the northern part of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia and located near Damansara Link of Sprint Expressway. It was officially opened on 18 December 2008 by Dijaya Corporation Berhad (Currently known as Tropicana Corporation Sdn Bhd).On 26 January 2015, CapitaMalls Malaysia trust (CMMT) announced the acquisition of Tropicana City Mall and its office tower for RM540 million.

The Bandar Utama station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the suburb of Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia as well as parts of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur which lie across the Damansara–Puchong Expressway from the station. It is one of the stations on the Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line. It was opened on 16 December 2016.This station is located next to the 1 Utama Shopping Centre, one of the biggest shopping malls in the Klang Valley. Other well-known landmarks near the station are Sri Pentas (headquarters of terrestrial TV channels owned by Media Prima), the One World Hotel, Plaza IBM and KPMG Tower, which are linked to the station via a pedestrian link-bridge. This station will serve as an interchange station with the future Shah Alam Line, a light rapid transit (LRT) station currently under construction which will link Bandar Utama with Johan Setia in Klang.

1 Utama is a shopping mall in Bandar Utama, Selangor, Malaysia, with an area of 5,590,000 square feet (519,000 m2) and containing 713 stores. It is the largest shopping mall in Malaysia and the seventh-largest shopping mall in the world. The first phase of the mall, now known as the "Old Wing", was opened in September 1995. With the increase in customer traffic and demand for retail spaces inside the mall, a second phase called "New Wing" was added in 2003. An additional expansion of 592,015 square feet (55,000.0 m2) was added in 2018 with the addition of 1 Utama E. Today the mall houses multiple retail areas, restaurants, cafes, sports facilities, a rainforest, and a bus station with national and international services. Current anchor tenants of the mall include; AEON Department Store and Supermarket, Jaya Grocer, and department store Parkson. The mall formerly housed Singaporean department store Tangs, Japanese department store Isetan, and the first IKEA store in Malaysia in 1996. The mall has received several awards including Gold in EdgeProp Malaysia's Best Managed Property Awards 2019 (retail category) and the Platinum Award for Shopping Complex of the Year in the Retail World Excellence Awards 2006/07 edition.
