The station is an elevated rapid transit station in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, forming part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.The station is marked as Station No. 2 along with the RM9 billion line project with the line's maintenance depot located in Johan Setia, Klang. The Kayu Ara LRT station was expected to be operational in February 2024, but Transport Minister Anthony Loke mentioned that the overall line would be expected to be operational by 1st March 2025 adding more delays to the opening of the Shah Alam Line. It will have facilities such as multi-story park and ride, kiosks, restrooms, elevators, taxi stand, and feeder bus among others.

Surian station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the suburb of Kota Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line. The station is named after Persiaran Surian, the road above which the station is situated. The station was opened on 16 December 2016 under phase one operations of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line.The station is located near the Dataran Sunway commercial area in Kota Damansara where the Sunway Giza Shopping Centre, Sunway Nexis and many shops are located.

Other well-known landmarks near the station are Sri Pentas (headquarters of terrestrial TV channels owned by Media Prima), the One World Hotel, Plaza IBM and KPMG Tower, which are linked to the station via a pedestrian link-bridge. This station will serve as an interchange station with the future Shah Alam Line, a light rapid transit (LRT) station currently under construction which will link Bandar Utama with Johan Setia in Klang.

The station was opened on 16 December 2016 when the first phase of the line was opened.The station is located adjacent to the Mutiara Damansara commercial area where The Curve Shopping Centre, Royale Chulan Hotel, IKEA Damansara, Lotus's Mutiara Damansara and other buildings are located.
