The Kayu Ara LRT station is a light rapid transit (LRT) station that serves the suburb of Damansara Utama and Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara in Petaling Jaya Selangor, Malaysia. It will be one of the stations on the Shah Alam line. The station is located right next the Kayu Ara River. The station is an elevated rapid transit station in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, forming part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.The station is marked as Station No. 2 along with the RM9 billion line project with the line's maintenance depot located in Johan Setia, Klang. The Kayu Ara LRT station was expected to be operational in February 2024, but Transport Minister Anthony Loke mentioned that the overall line would be expected to be operational by 1st March 2025 adding more delays to the opening of the Shah Alam Line. It will have facilities such as multi-story park and ride, kiosks, restrooms, elevators, taxi stand, and feeder bus among others.

Damansara Utama is a suburb of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The suburb is divided into two sections, SS20 in the east and SS21 in the west which are separated in the middle by the Damansara–Puchong Expressway, a heavily used six-lane expressway. It has a population of about 142,000 people. It is also within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling District. Also the place of death of Toh Puan Suhaila binti Tan Sri Mohammad Noah, wife of former (3rd) Prime Minister, Tun Hussein Onn.

The Bandar Utama station is a mass rapid transit (MRT) station serving the suburb of Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia as well as parts of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur which lie across the Damansara–Puchong Expressway from the station. It is one of the stations on the Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line. It was opened on 16 December 2016.This station is located next to the 1 Utama Shopping Centre, one of the biggest shopping malls in the Klang Valley. Other well-known landmarks near the station are Sri Pentas (headquarters of terrestrial TV channels owned by Media Prima), the One World Hotel, Plaza IBM and KPMG Tower, which are linked to the station via a pedestrian link-bridge. This station will serve as an interchange station with the future Shah Alam Line, a light rapid transit (LRT) station currently under construction which will link Bandar Utama with Johan Setia in Klang.

988 FM is a Malaysian Chinese-language radio station. Its broadcast area covers West Malaysia (except Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu) and Singapore. It is managed by Star Media Radio Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star Media Group Berhad. 988 FM began broadcasting in 1996 as a trilingual radio station, with 50% Chinese content and became a fully-fledged radio station in December 1997. In the surverys conducted by GfK for 2020, 988 FM commanded a weekly listenership of 2.02 million. This amounted to 42% of listeners from the total listenership of Malaysian Chinese radio stations. Bandar Utama Damansara is a residential township located within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is a residential suburb and home to the popular 1 Utama Shopping Centre. Bandar Utama Damansara, together with neighbouring Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara, form the PJU 6 section of the city of Petaling Jaya. Bandar Utama Damansara is represented in parliament by the MP for Damansara, Tony Pua and State Assemblywoman for Bandar Utama, Jamaliah Jamaluddin.

1 Utama is a shopping mall in Bandar Utama, Selangor, Malaysia, with an area of 5,590,000 square feet (519,000 m2) and containing 713 stores. It is the largest shopping mall in Malaysia and the seventh-largest shopping mall in the world. The first phase of the mall, now known as the "Old Wing", was opened in September 1995. With the increase in customer traffic and demand for retail spaces inside the mall, a second phase called "New Wing" was added in 2003. An additional expansion of 592,015 square feet (55,000.0 m2) was added in 2018 with the addition of 1 Utama E. Today the mall houses multiple retail areas, restaurants, cafes, sports facilities, a rainforest, and a bus station with national and international services. Current anchor tenants of the mall include; AEON Department Store and Supermarket, Jaya Grocer, and department store Parkson. The mall formerly housed Singaporean department store Tangs, Japanese department store Isetan, and the first IKEA store in Malaysia in 1996. The mall has received several awards including Gold in EdgeProp Malaysia's Best Managed Property Awards 2019 (retail category) and the Platinum Award for Shopping Complex of the Year in the Retail World Excellence Awards 2006/07 edition.

Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara is a small village in the Petaling Jaya Utara (PJU6) section of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. This village is located between Bandar Utama Damansara, Damansara Jaya and Damansara Utama. It shares the postcode 47400 with Damansara Utama which lies to the east and adjacent to PJU6.

The Taman Tun Dr Ismail station, also known as the TTDI station, is a mass rapid transit station on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line serving the suburb of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur and Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The station's location was however the third choice, after two earlier locations received objections during the public display of the line (mandatory under existing laws). The original location of the TTDI MRT Station was next to the TTDI fire station, which was objected and forced Prasarana (project owner pre- establishment of MRT Corp) to propose shifting it next to the TTDI Wet Market, some 300 metres away. This too was not popular, and the majority of objections came from residents of Jalan SS20/10 in Damansara Kim across the LDP. The fear was that parking along the road and area would be congested by future MRT users. The final location necessitated the acquisition of two Caltex petrol stations on each side of the elevated station. There was also a small plot of land that could have been the site of a multi-storey park and ride (MSPR) building. The MSPR was included in the approved plan, but MRT Corp later sought the approval of the Land Public Transport Authority (SPAD) to remove the MSPR. The odd shape of the small plot available meant that the number of bays were small (less than 120 bays) making the cost per bay too high. The allotted bays were then added to the Phileo Damansara Station MSPR. It was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the line.

3 Damansara Shopping Mall (formerly Tropicana City Mall) is a mixed-used buildings which consists of shopping malls, an office block and condominiums. This building is located in Damansara Utama, a suburb in the northern part of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia and located near Damansara Link of Sprint Expressway. It was officially opened on 18 December 2008 by Dijaya Corporation Berhad (Currently known as Tropicana Corporation Sdn Bhd).On 26 January 2015, CapitaMalls Malaysia trust (CMMT) announced the acquisition of Tropicana City Mall and its office tower for RM540 million.

Damansara Jaya is a township consisting of Sections SS22 and SS22A of the city of Petaling Jaya in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is situated within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling district. It covers an estimated area of 1.21 km2 (0.467 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 11,678 residents. The township consists of almost 2000 residential dwellings consisting of 1538 units of terraced houses, 179 semi-detached housing units and 42 bungalows along with a main commercial area (coordinates: 3°7′38.35″N 101°36′58.87″E). The Atria, originally called the Gardenia Town Centre for a brief period of time, is a shopping mall located in the centre of this commercial area. Damansara Jaya is also home to KDU College (previously known as Kolej Damansara Utama) and SMK Damansara Jaya, a government co-educational secondary school.

The Al Taqwa Mosque (Malay: Masjid Al Taqwa) is a mosque in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Taman Tun Dr. Ismail is an affluent mid sized township in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Situated on the border of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, it is within the vicinity of Bandar Utama Damansara, Damansara Utama, Mutiara Damansara and other townships of Petaling Jaya. It is also neighbouring Bukit Kiara and Sri Hartamas as well as within easy access to Bangsar and Damansara Heights. This township is in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) as its local authority. It is primarily a residential neighborhood with businesses ranging from retail shops, restaurants and some high rise office buildings such as Menara Ken and Plaza VADS. The township was named after Tun Dr. Ismail bin Abdul Rahman, Malaysia's first ambassador to the United States and a Malaysian representative to the United Nations, before becoming Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister in 1970. The commonly used abbreviation for Taman Tun Dr. Ismail is "TTDI".
