988 FM is a Malaysian Chinese-language radio station. Its broadcast area covers West Malaysia (except Kuala Terengganu and Kota Bharu) and Singapore. It is managed by Star Media Radio Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star Media Group Berhad. 988 FM began broadcasting in 1996 as a trilingual radio station, with 50% Chinese content and became a fully-fledged radio station in December 1997. In the surverys conducted by GfK for 2020, 988 FM commanded a weekly listenership of 2.02 million. This amounted to 42% of listeners from the total listenership of Malaysian Chinese radio stations. It is the number one Chinese-language station in the northern region of West Malaysia (Perak, Kedah, Penang and Perlis).988 FM is currently one of Malaysia's top three Chinese language radio stations, targeting at urban and suburban listeners, primarily professionals, managers and adults. 988 FM plays the latest hits music, trend and infotainment. 988 FM's tagline is "友声有色" (Sound of colours).

Damansara Utama is a suburb of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The suburb is divided into two sections, SS20 in the east and SS21 in the west which are separated in the middle by the Damansara–Puchong Expressway, a heavily used six-lane expressway. It has a population of about 142,000 people. It is also within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling District. It is situated within the Sungai Buloh mukim (subdivision) of the Petaling district. It covers an estimated area of 1.21 km2 (0.467 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 11,678 residents. The township consists of almost 2000 residential dwellings consisting of 1538 units of terraced houses, 179 semi-detached housing units and 42 bungalows along with a main commercial area (coordinates: 3°7′38.35″N 101°36′58.87″E). The Atria, originally called the Gardenia Town Centre for a brief period of time, is a shopping mall located in the centre of this commercial area. Damansara Jaya is also home to KDU College (previously known as Kolej Damansara Utama) and SMK Damansara Jaya, a government co-educational secondary school.

The Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery is a cemetery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located at Damansara near Taman Tun Dr Ismail. This cemetery can be seen from the Damansara Link of the Sprint Expressway. It is the final resting place of many prominent Malay personalities.

The Taman Tun Dr Ismail station, also known as the TTDI station, is a mass rapid transit station on the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line serving the suburb of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur and Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The station's location was however the third choice, after two earlier locations received objections during the public display of the line (mandatory under existing laws). The original location of the TTDI MRT Station was next to the TTDI fire station, which was objected and forced Prasarana (project owner pre- establishment of MRT Corp) to propose shifting it next to the TTDI Wet Market, some 300 metres away. This too was not popular, and the majority of objections came from residents of Jalan SS20/10 in Damansara Kim across the LDP. The fear was that parking along the road and area would be congested by future MRT users. The final location necessitated the acquisition of two Caltex petrol stations on each side of the elevated station. There was also a small plot of land that could have been the site of a multi-storey park and ride (MSPR) building. The MSPR was included in the approved plan, but MRT Corp later sought the approval of the Land Public Transport Authority (SPAD) to remove the MSPR. The odd shape of the small plot available meant that the number of bays were small (less than 120 bays) making the cost per bay too high. The allotted bays were then added to the Phileo Damansara Station MSPR. It was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the line.

Located near the roundabout of Damansara Utama where Damansara Uptown is, the Al Mujaheddin Mosque is more than just a place of worship. In the compound, there is an Islamic school going by the name SRA Al-Mujahiddeen. SRA stands for Sekolah Agama Rakyat or People's Religious School. It is where some Muslim residents send their children to get in-depth teachings on Islamic faith.

The Kayu Ara LRT station is a light rapid transit (LRT) station that serves the suburb of Damansara Utama and Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara in Petaling Jaya Selangor, Malaysia. It will be one of the stations on the Shah Alam line. The station is located right next the Kayu Ara River. The station is an elevated rapid transit station in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, forming part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.The station is marked as Station No. 2 along with the RM9 billion line project with the line's maintenance depot located in Johan Setia, Klang. The Kayu Ara LRT station was expected to be operational in February 2024, but Transport Minister Anthony Loke mentioned that the overall line would be expected to be operational by 1st March 2025 adding more delays to the opening of the Shah Alam Line. It will have facilities such as multi-story park and ride, kiosks, restrooms, elevators, taxi stand, and feeder bus among others.
