Bordeta (Barcelona Metro)

Mercat Nou is a Barcelona Metro station in the Sants-Montjuïc district of the city of Barcelona. The station is served by line L1. It was formerly called Mercado Nuevo until 1982.The station is situated above street level, alongside the main line tracks from the western exit of Sants railway station, and between Carrer Riera de Tena and Carrer Jocs Florals. The station's only entrance is at its western end, from a ticket hall below the tracks accessed from Carrer Riera de Tena as it passes under the tracks. Escalators, stairs and lifts take passengers up to the 100-metre (330 ft) long island platform. Despite being above street level, both main line and metro tracks, and the metro platforms, are fully enclosed.The station is on the original section of line L1 (then the Ferrocarril Metropolitano Transversal de Barcelona) between Catalunya and Bordeta stations, which was opened in 1926. As built, the station was one of the system's few open-air stations, with a pair of side platforms. However both the metro line and the adjacent main lines were rebuilt and enclosed over a two-year period up to June 2009, during this period the station was closed. According to Barcelona City Council the work cost €15.6 million.

Santa Eulàlia is a Barcelona Metro station, just inside the boundary of the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat with the city of Barcelona, and named after the nearby Santa Eulàlia neighbourhood. The station is served by line L1.The station is situated alongside the south side of main line tracks from the western exit of Sants railway station, with the Pont de La Torrassa to the west and the Riera Blanca to the east. It has two 96-metre (315 ft) long side platforms, which are situated above street level at their eastern end and below ground at the western end, and has an overall roof. Both platforms have access from a below-track ticket hall on the Riera Blanca, and an above-track ticket hall linked to the Pont de La Torrassa. The Santa Eulàlia metro train depot is immediately to the south of the station.The station has existed on two different sites. The first, somewhat to the west of the current site, was opened in 1932 as the western terminus of a one stop extension of line L1 from Bordeta station. The station was relocated in 1983, at the time of the further extension of the line to Torrassa station. At the same time, Bordeta station was closed, as it was deemed too close to the new Santa Eulàlia station.

Carrer de Sants is a high street in the eponymous neighbourhood of Sants, in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). After being designated officially a commercial road in 1999 by shopkeepers' associations of its district, it is often claimed to be Europe's longest commercial road, spanning also Carrer de la Creu Coberta (which is essentially the same street). The Sants-Montjuïc district council has its seat there.

La Bordeta is a neighborhood in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It is located between Sants and l'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The neighborhood was in the bottom of the former municipality of Sants.

Badal is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Carrer de Sants, between Carrer Arizala and Carrer Sant Feliu de Guíxols. It was opened in 1969. The side-platform station has a ticket hall on either end, the western one with two accesses at Carrer Arizala and Carrer Carreras Candi, the eastern one with one access at Carrer de Sants.

The Ciutat de la Justícia de Barcelona i l'Hospitalet de Llobregat or just Ciutat de la Justícia (Catalan: City of Justice) is a recent architectural development in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona and its immediately adjacent suburb of l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes near Plaça d'Ildefons Cerdà and Plaça d'Europa. It hosts most of the legal departments of the metropolitan area, which were previously located in 17 separate buildings scattered around both cities. It does not include the whole of Barcelona's judicial administration, but shares it with the Palace of Justice of Barcelona, on Passeig de Lluís Companys. The 330,000 square metres it spans are distributed in eight buildings designed by David Chipperfield Architects and Fermín Vázquez. It was envisioned as part of the urban regeneration program for L'Hospitalet de Llobregat that has taken place over the decades of the 2000s and 2010s.

Sants-Badal (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsan(d)z βəˈðal]) is a neighborhood in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It belonged to the former municipality of Sants, current district of Sants-Montjuïc. Extending 0,41 km2 and with a population of 23,987 it is the most densely populated neighborhood in the city with a density of 58,430 inhabitants/km2.

Plaça de Sants is a Barcelona Metro station, named after the nearby Plaça de Sants, in the Sants-Montjuïc district of the city of Barcelona. The station is served by lines L1 and L5.The line L1 platforms are located below the Carrer de Sants between the Carrer d'Alcolea and the Carrer de Guadiana, and comprise two 88-metre (289 ft) long side platforms. The line L5 platforms are some 200 metres (660 ft) to the west, under the Plaça de Sants between the Carrer de Sants and the Carrer Galileu, and comprise two 94-metre (308 ft) long side platforms. The two sets of platforms are linked by an underground corridor, and there are six station accesses on the Plaça de Sants and Carrer de Sants.Plaça de Sants metro station lies some 10 minutes walk from Barcelona's main Sants railway station, which is better served by the Sants Estació metro station on lines L3 and L5.The L1 part of the station is on the original section of line L1 (then the Ferrocarril Metropolitano Transversal de Barcelona) between Catalunya and Bordeta stations, which was opened in 1926. The L5 part was opened in 1969, along with the original section of L5 between Collblanc and Diagonal stations.

Plaça d'Ildefons Cerdà (often known simply as Plaça Cerdà) is a square in Barcelona, part of La Bordeta, in the Sants-Montjuïc district, very close to the boundary of the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. It is named after the city's renowned urban planner Ildefons Cerdà. It is essentially a large roundabout which connects different parts of the city. The new courts of Barcelona and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, collectively known under the name Ciutat de la Justícia are located in the immediacy of this square. Recent redevelopment has changed the area's feel, as well as promotion of the different Fira de Barcelona venues, not far from the square. Decisions made by recent urbanists has been criticised as a place hostile to strollers and therefore quite different from the idea of Barcelona an urbanist like Ildefons Cerdà had. A monument to Cerdà by sculptor Antoni Riera Clavillé was inaugurated in 1959, one century after his original urban plan, but was removed shortly after General Jorge Vigón, the Francoist Minister of Public Works, dismissed it publicly. There is no name plate in the square, which makes it theoretically a nameless space.It is crossed by Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes (which here also becomes the main road to El Prat Airport) and by Rambla de Badal, which changes name here, becoming Passeig de la Zona Franca.

Magòria-La Campana is a railway station on the Llobregat–Anoia Line. It is located underneath Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, in the Barcelona district of Sants-Montjuïc, in Catalonia, Spain. It was opened in 1997 near the original at-grade station, which operated between 1912 and 1974. It is served by Barcelona Metro line 8, Baix Llobregat Metro lines S33, S4 and S8, and commuter rail lines R5 and R6.

Ildefons Cerdà is a railway station on the Llobregat–Anoia Line. It is not properly located in Plaça d'Ildefons Cerdà (a square in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona), but in the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat municipality, in Catalonia, Spain. The station is situated underneath Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and was opened in 1987. It is served by Barcelona Metro line 8, Baix Llobregat Metro lines S33, S4 and S8, and commuter rail lines R5, R6, R50 and R60. The station has also become part of the Barcelona Metro line 10. The new station was officially opened on 23 November 2019 with the name Ciutat de la Justícia, since it is directly serving the Ciutat de la Justícia de Barcelona i l'Hospitalet de Llobregat buildings. The new station is located at a distance of 180 m from the existing Ildefons Cerdà station, without a direct connection (passengers have to exit to the road and walk on the street to move between the stations). However, it is considered in the official maps as an interchange node.

La España Industrial, (Catalan: L'Espanya Industrial), was a cotton textile company founded 1847, and which built its primary factory (known as Vapor nou) in the village of Santa María de Sans (modern day Sants). It was not only the first joint-stock company (Spanish: sociedad anónima) created in Spain for cotton manufacturing, but it was also the first company to undertake all aspects (carding, spinning, weaving and finishing) under one roof. It was for many years, the largest and most innovative cotton manufacturer in Spain. It was formed in 1847, grew to 2,500 employees in late 19th century, consolidated factories in the 1970s and finally closed its doors for good in 1981.
