Łapsze Wyżne [ˈwapʂɛ ˈvɨʐnɛ] (Slovak: Vyšné Lapše) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Łapsze Niżne, within Nowy Targ County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Łapsze Niżne, 16 km (10 mi) south-east of Nowy Targ, and 76 km (47 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków. It is one of the 14 villages in the Polish part of the historical region of Spiš (Polish: Spisz). Łapsze Wyżne (where Wyżne means Upper, as it lays upper in the valley) is the younger village from the sister settlement Łapsze Niżne (where Niżne means Lower). It was first mentioned in 1463 and 1469.

Trybsz [trɨpʂ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Łapsze Niżne, within Nowy Targ County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of Łapsze Niżne, 12 km (7 mi) south-east of Nowy Targ, and 74 km (46 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.It is one of the 14 villages in the Polish part of the historical region of Spiš (Polish: Spisz). Beginning in the 16th century it was being mentioned in documents as Trepsia or Trepschya.The biggest landmark in the village is a wooden church from the 16th century. Dedicated to St. Elisabeth of Hungary, inside polychromes represent the Catholic saints and scenes from the Bible. Dating back to 1647, they were laid out by the parish priest Jan Ratulowski of Frydman, but their author remains unknown.

Bukowina Tatrzańska is a popular destination for the Tour de Pologne, having served as the finishing point for stages several times, most recently in the 2014 edition of the race.In the village there are several historic wooden guesthouses from the Interbellum Period built in the Zakopane Style architecture including the Cultural Centre which is ranked among the biggest wooden buildings in Poland. The village also hosts the annual Polish folklore festival Sabałowe Bajania.

Obłazowa Cave is a cave situated in the nature reserve of Przełom Białki at Nowa Biała near Krempachy, Gmina Nowy Targ in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, southern Poland. The cave has a 9 m long chamber to which a short corridor leads. It is one of the most important Paleolithic sites in Poland.

It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) east of Nowy Targ and 70 km (43 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.The village is in Central European Time, or UTC +1.It is one of the 14 villages in the Polish part of the historical region of Spiš (Polish: Spisz) and the only one of them lying on the left bank of the Białka river, owing to translocation of the stream in the past.
