The Monument to the Duke of Caxias (Portuguese: Monumento a Duque de Caxias) is a platinum bronze statue on a granite pedestal depicting the battles of the Duke of Caxias. Located in the city of São Paulo, the monument is 48 meters high and is the second largest equestrian memorial in the world.

Largo do Arouche, also known as Flower Square (Portuguese: Praça das Flores) or Flower Market (Mercado das Flores), is located in the República district, in the central region of the city of São Paulo. It represents a center of diversity, as it has been occupied by LGBTQIAP+ social groups since the 1940s, an occupation that resisted the military dictatorship in the fight for the right to sexual and gender diversity. It houses several florists who set up shop after the existing stalls in República Square were removed by Mayor Armando de Arruda Pereira around 1914. During the 1900s, it housed the Arouche Free Fair, which was created during the crisis in the supply of fruit and vegetable products and closed in 1954. The current name refers to Lieutenant General José Arouche de Toledo Rendon, the first director of the Law School of the University of São Paulo and the Botanical Garden. It has been called Largo do Ouvidor, Largo da Artilharia and Alexandre Herculano Square. The place became nationally known after the sitcom Sai de Baixo, produced by TV Globo, was launched. The series, shown between 1996 and 2002, portrayed humorous situations that took place in a fictitious building located in Largo do Arouche.

Colégio Polilogos (Korean: 브라질한국학교) was a South Korean international school in Bom Retiro, Sao Paulo, Brazil. It was operated by Associação Brasileira de Educação Coreana (ABEC; Korean: 한브교육협회) and was the largest Korean international day school in South America. It was recognized by the South Korean government and was bilingual in Korean and Portuguese.Construction started around 1996. It opened in 1998. The Ministry of Education (South Korea) helped pay for the establishment of the school, which took 3.5 billion won of ministry funding and donations and another 3.5 billion won of investments. At some point it was not registered as a nonprofit organization in Brazil, so taxes began to decimate the school in a three-year period. It closed in 2017.

Júlio Prestes is a train station on ViaMobilidade Line 8-Diamond, located in the district of Santa Cecília in São Paulo. This historical station was named after former Governor of São Paulo and former President-elect of Brazil, Júlio Prestes. Currently, the station attends only the Line 8-Diamond. The station is the head office of the State Secretariat of Culture of São Paulo and, since 1999, the concert house for the São Paulo Symphonic Orchestra (Osesp), Sala São Paulo. In Praça Júlio Prestes, it is possible to see the bronze statue of Alfredo Maia and the iron abstract structure of Emanoel Araújo.

Igreja do Imaculado Coração de Maria (English: Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary) (ICM) is a church located in São Paulo, Brazil. It is located in the district of Santa Cecilia, and was built between 1897 and 1899, replacing the Church Yard College demolished in 1896. On March 13, 1896, it had suffered a landslide due to heavy rain, being entirely demolished two days later. On the walls, ceilings and other architectural elements of the church, there are murals and decorative art signed by Italian artists Arnaldo Mecozzi and Vincenzo Mecozzi.

The Júlio Prestes Cultural Center, which is located in the Júlio Prestes Train Station in the old north central section of the city of São Paulo, Brazil, was inaugurated on July 9, 1999. The building has been restored and renovated by the São Paulo State Government, as part of the downtown revitalization in that city. It houses the Sala São Paulo, which has a capacity of 1498 seats and is the home of the São Paulo State Symphonic Orchestra (OSESP). It is a venue for symphonic and chamber presentations. Renovation began in November 1997, but the first steps were taken in 1995. Governor Mario Covas visualized the Julio Prestes space as ideal for symphonic presentations and because OSESP did not have a permanent home.

The Andraus Building is a well-known building in the República area of downtown São Paulo, Brazil, on the corner of São João Avenue and Pedro Américo Street. It is 115 metres tall and has 32 floors, and its construction ended in 1962. On 24 February 1972, the building suffered a great fire which caused the deaths of 16 persons trapped inside the building. 330 others were also injured. The building was renovated after the fire, and currently houses municipal and federal government offices.

Praça da República (Portuguese: Square of the Republic) is a park and public square in the República neighborhood of São Paulo, Brazil. The park covers several city blocks between Rua Pedro Américo, Rua Vinte e Quatro de Maio, Avenida Ipiranga, and Avenida São João in the historic center of the city. Escola da Cidade (lit. City School) is a private, not-for-profit institution of higher learning in São Paulo, Brazil. Established in 2001, it offers bachelor's degree and postgraduate programs in architecture and urban planning, as well as non-degree courses in architecture, urbanism, design, and related disciplines. Since March 2020, the School has also operated Fábrica • Escola de Humanidades João Filgueiras Lima (FAEH), a private secondary and vocational school with a focus on the humanities and maker culture.The School has no formal rector or dean system; it is operated by Associação Escola da Cidade, a nonprofit association of architects, fine artists, and public intellectuals, and managed by five boards. Noted faculty members include Marcio Kogan and Paulo von Poser.
