Hočko Pohorje (pronounced [ˈxoːtʃkɔ ˈpóːxɔɾjɛ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Hoče-Slivnica in northeastern Slovenia. It lies in the eastern Pohorje Hills south of Maribor. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Drava Statistical Region.

Mariborska koča (1142 m) is a mountain hut, which lies on small plain, on southern part of Pohorje under Reški vrh and Ledinek kogl. It was built in 1911 and was burnt by Germans during WW2.

Hrastje (pronounced [ˈxɾaːstjɛ]) is a settlement southwest of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Maribor.

Maribor Pohorje Ski Resort (Slovene: Smučišče Mariborsko Pohorje) is the largest ski resort in Slovenia, located just south of Maribor, at the mountain range of Pohorje in Lower Styria. The resort consists of three sections: lower section "Snow Stadium," middle section "Bolfenk" and an upper section called "Areh". The resort as a whole offers 42 km (26 miles) of north-facing ski slopes, 27 km (17 mi) of cross-country skiing, and 10 km (6 mi) of night skiing. It is best known for its "Golden Fox" competition, women's World Cup races in giant slalom and slalom, held since 1964.

Miranova proga A is a women's World Cup technical ski course in Slovenia, on Pohorje mountain in Radvanje District, Maribor hostin Golden Fox (Zlata lisica) competition since 1978.Part of Mariborsko Pohorje Ski Resort, the largest ski course in Slovenia, the slope is divided on upper part (GS start – Trikotna jasa) and lower part (SL start – Snow stadium finish). Not counting ski slopes in Scandinavia with very cold winters, this is the course with lowest finish elevation on the World Cup circuit, at 325 metres (1,066 ft) above sea level.

Slivniško Pohorje (pronounced [ˈslíːwniʃkɔ ˈpóːxɔɾjɛ]) is a settlement in the Pohorje Hills south of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It lies in the Municipality of Hoče–Slivnica, part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Drava Statistical Region.

Pekre (pronounced [ˈpeːkɾɛ]) is a settlement southwest of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Maribor.The local landmark is the church on top of a small hill to the east of the main settlement. It is dedicated to Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows and was built as a pilgrimage church between 1832 and 1835. There are also four small chapel-shrines along the road leading up to the church.The first military clash between the Yugoslav People's Army and the Slovenian Territorial Defence in Slovenia's war of independence happened in Pekre on 23 May 1991.

Log (pronounced [ˈloːk]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Ruše in northeastern Slovenia. It lies in a valley of a small right tributary of the Drava River in the Pohorje Hills south of Bistrica ob Dravi. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Drava Statistical Region.

Limbuš (pronounced [ˈliːmbuʃ], German: Lembach) is a settlement on the right bank of the Drava River west of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Maribor.The local parish church is dedicated to Saint James and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. It has a Gothic nave dating to the 15th century, a 16th-century belfry, 17th-century chapels, and a sanctuary with 17th- and 18th-century internal furnishings. There is a walled cemetery around the church.Limbuš Rado Robič Primary School (Slovene: Osnovna Šola Rada Robiča Limbuš) is named after Radivoj Robič (1919–1944), a Partisan machine-gunner. There is a pharmacy in Limbuš.

The Radvanje District (pronounced [ˈɾaːdʋanjɛ]; Slovene: Mestna četrt Radvanje) is a city district of the City Municipality of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. The district has a population of about 8,000.

Laznica (pronounced [ˈlaːznitsa]) is a settlement on the right bank of the Drava River west of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Maribor.
