In 2007, he managed to retain the star awarded to Sidney Heinze in 2006.The building is a Rijksmonument.

Since 2011 it has been part of the new formed municipality of Stichtse Vecht. It is located on the river Vecht, about 2 km north of Loenen aan de Vecht. It received city rights in 1265. In 2015, the village celebrates the 650th year of its foundation. Vreeland is on the provincial road Vinkeveen-Hilversum (N201). Until 1964, Vreeland was a separate municipality.In 2001, the village of Vreeland had 1339 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.30 km², and contained 557 residences. The statistical area "Vreeland", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1600.

It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the years 1958 and 1959 and one or two Michelin stars in the period 1999 to present. GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 17.0 out of 20 points.It was one of the founders of the Alliance Gastronomique Néerlandaise in 1967. In 2011 the restaurant was not a member. De Nederlanden is a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

It lies about 12 km west of Hilversum. It is located on the Angstel River. Loenersloot used to be a separate municipality. In 1964, it merged with the neighbouring municipality of Loenen. Castle Loenersloot is located in the village.

Scheendijk is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of Stichtse Vecht, and lies about 10 km northwest of Utrecht. Scheendijk is found in an area known for its lakes and ribbed sand islands, called the Loosdrechtse Plassen, which many tourists visit every year. The lake area is dotted with houses along embankments with yachting marinas.It was first mentioned in 1746 as De Scheyding, and means the division dike. The postal authorities have placed it under Breukelen. Scheendijk has its own place name signs.

The Angstel is a small river between Abcoude and Loenersloot in the Netherlands, about halfway between Amsterdam and Utrecht. The Angstel is about 6 km (3.75 mi) long and connects the Gein and Holendrecht rivers with the Aa and Winkel rivers. East of the Angstel is the Amsterdam–Rhine Canal. Originally the Angstel was a tributary to the Utrechtse Vecht. The river marks the border of the municipality De Ronde Venen. Along the river are several Buitenplaats and the castle of Loenersloot. There are four bridges over the river: the Dorpsbrug Baambrugge in Baambrugge, and the Hulksbrug, the Heinkuitenbrug and the Derde in Abcoude.

Gunterstein Castle (Dutch: Gunterstein) is a castle in Breukelen, on the river Vecht, that was the former home of the rich Dutch widow Magdalena Poulle (1626–1699). She bought the property and associated title after the former castle and stronghold was destroyed by the French in the Disaster Year Rampjaar 1672.

Breukelen-Sint Pieters is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The municipality was formed in 1815, when the municipality of Breukelen was split into two parts. Breukelen-Sint Pieters covered the eastern part of the former municipality, including the village of Breukeleveen. In 1949, the municipalities of Breukelen-Nijenrode and Breukelen-Sint Pieters merged again, to form the municipality of Breukelen.

Loosdrecht (Dutch pronunciation: [ɫoːsdrɛxt]) is a town in the municipality of Wijdemeren, North Holland, the Netherlands, with a population of about 8,600 inhabitants.Loosdrecht consists of two small villages: Nieuw-Loosdrecht and Oud-Loosdrecht. Nieuw Loosdrecht covers a small area densely populated; Oud-Loosdrecht consists mainly of lakeside villas. Until 2002 Loosdrecht was a separate municipality in the province of Utrecht, covering the villages of Oud-Loosdrecht and Nieuw-Loosdrecht, and the hamlets of Breukeleveen and Muyeveld. Loosdrecht is known for its lakes, the Loosdrechtse Plassen, which thousands of tourists visit every year. The lakes are a hotspot for the well-to-do, with several exclusive yachting clubs and restaurants lining the shores. Smaller boats can visit the Vuntus and other quieter lakes on the northern side of Loosdrecht, connected to the main lakes through a small underpass.
