Royal Air Force Calveley or more simply RAF Calveley is a former Royal Air Force station near Nantwich, Cheshire.

Wardle is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The village lies on the Shropshire Union Canal, north west of Barbridge Junction (at SJ610570), and is 4 miles to the north west of Nantwich, and the parish also includes part of the small settlement of Wardle Bank. The total population is around 250. RAF Calveley was a flight-training station during the Second World War, and the Mark III radio telescope stood on the airfield site in 1966–96. The modern civil parish includes Wardle Industrial Estate and is otherwise largely agricultural. Nearby villages include Barbridge, Calveley and Haughton.

It is an active Anglican church in the parish of St Boniface, Bunbury, the deanery of Malpas, the archdeaconry of Chester, and the diocese of Chester. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Calveley is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Alpraham and Calveley, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The village lies 5½ miles to the north west of Nantwich. The parish also includes parts of the settlements of Barrets Green and Wardle Bank. The total population is 280 people. The area is largely agricultural and includes a short stretch of the Shropshire Union Canal. There is an Anglican parish church, a primary school and a public house. Nearby villages include Alpraham, Bunbury, Haughton and Wardle. In 2011 the parish had a population of 280.

Haughton Hall is a country house to the east of the village of Haughton, Cheshire, England. It was rebuilt between 1891 and 1894 for the shipowner and art collector Ralph Brocklebank. The architect was J. F. Doyle, the design being influenced by the Old English picturesque style of Norman Shaw. The house was altered in about 1950, reducing it from three storeys to two, and replacing tile-hanging with roughcast. It is constructed in red brick, some of which has been roughcast, and has red tiled roofs. The house has an L-shaped plan. The garden front is in two storeys and has five bays; there is a single-storey five-bay wing to the east, and a three-storey three-bay service wing to the north. In the garden front are three bay windows, a Venetian window and a door. Above the door is a sundial. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Barrets Green is a small settlement in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It lies on the A51 (Nantwich Road) at SJ59075925, by the junction with Long Lane (to Wettenhall), at an elevation of 56 metres. Local farms include Barrets Green Farm and The Grange. For administrative purposes, Barrets Green falls mainly within the civil parish of Alpraham, with a small part in Calveley; it is approximately 1⁄4 miles from each of these two villages.As of 2016, Barrets Green is served by the Arriva North West Chester–Crewe bus route 84, with a stop near the Long Lane junction on the A51.

Alpraham is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Alpraham and Calveley, in the Cheshire East district, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is on the A51 road between Nantwich and Chester, seven miles north-west of Nantwich. The population is around 400. The Travellers Rest public house is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. It was built in about 1850 and extended in 1937, and the interwar interior remains largely unchanged.

Burland is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Burland and Acton, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, about 2+1⁄2 miles west of Nantwich. The civil parish also included the small settlements of Burland Lower Green, Burland Upper Green, Hollin Green and Stoneley Green, as well as parts of Gradeley Green and Swanley. The eastern part of the village of Ravensmoor also falls within the civil parish (also in the parish of Baddiley). According to the 2001 census the civil parish had a total population of 582, decreasing slightly to 580 at the 2011 Census.

Stoke Hall is a Grade II listed mansion on Stoke Hall Lane in the civil parish of Stoke in Cheshire East, England. The large L-shaped building dates originally from the early 17th century, but has a 19th-century appearance. It is built from red brick, in Flemish Bond, with a slate roof.The hall originally belonged to the Minshull family, who owned the manor of Stoke in the 17th century. A disused dovecote with a bell turret in the grounds of the hall dates from the late 18th century; it is also listed at grade II.The building was Grade II listed on 10 June 1952. Stoke is a former civil parish, now in the parish of Stoke and Hurleston, in the unitary authority area of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The parish was predominantly rural with a total population of around 200, measured with the inclusion of Hurleston at 324 in the 2011 Census. The largest settlement was Barbridge (at SJ615566), which lies 3½ miles to the north west of Nantwich. The parish also included the small settlements of Stoke Bank (SJ616565) and Verona (SJ618559). Nearby villages include Aston juxta Mondrum, Burland, Calveley, Haughton, Rease Heath and Wardle.
