Alpraham

Barrets Green is a small settlement in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It lies on the A51 (Nantwich Road) at SJ59075925, by the junction with Long Lane (to Wettenhall), at an elevation of 56 metres. Local farms include Barrets Green Farm and The Grange. For administrative purposes, Barrets Green falls mainly within the civil parish of Alpraham, with a small part in Calveley; it is approximately 1⁄4 miles from each of these two villages.As of 2016, Barrets Green is served by the Arriva North West Chester–Crewe bus route 84, with a stop near the Long Lane junction on the A51.

The village lies 5½ miles to the north west of Nantwich. The parish also includes parts of the settlements of Barrets Green and Wardle Bank. The total population is 280 people. The area is largely agricultural and includes a short stretch of the Shropshire Union Canal. There is an Anglican parish church, a primary school and a public house. Nearby villages include Alpraham, Bunbury, Haughton and Wardle. In 2011 the parish had a population of 280.

The Travellers Rest is a public house at Alpraham, near Tarporley, in Cheshire, England. It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.It was built in about 1850 and extended in 1937, and the interwar interior remains largely unchanged.This pub has been in the same family since 1900. It has a bowling green which opened in 1921. It used to have a café (opened early 1950s, closed 1989) which catered for coach traffic, mainly in the summer. It was used by Barton Transport of Nottingham as the refreshment halt on their Nottingham to Llandudno express coach service.

Bunbury Mill is a watermill located to the east of the village of Bunbury, Cheshire, England. After being at risk of demolition, it has been restored as a working museum. The structure is designated by Historic England as a Grade II listed building.

St Boniface's Church stands prominently in the village of Bunbury, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The church dates mainly from the 14th century. Its features include the Ridley chapel, the alabaster chest tomb of Sir Hugh Calveley and the tomb of Sir George Beeston. Raymond Richards, author of Old Cheshire Churches, considers it is architecturally one of the most important examples of its period in Cheshire. Alec Clifton-Taylor includes it in his list of 'best' English parish churches, and Simon Jenkins assigns it two stars in his book England's Thousand Best Churches. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Malpas. Its benefice is combined with that of St Jude, Tilstone Fearnall.

Haughton Hall is a country house to the east of the village of Haughton, Cheshire, England. It was rebuilt between 1891 and 1894 for the shipowner and art collector Ralph Brocklebank. The architect was J. F. Doyle, the design being influenced by the Old English picturesque style of Norman Shaw. The house was altered in about 1950, reducing it from three storeys to two, and replacing tile-hanging with roughcast. It is constructed in red brick, some of which has been roughcast, and has red tiled roofs. The house has an L-shaped plan. The garden front is in two storeys and has five bays; there is a single-storey five-bay wing to the east, and a three-storey three-bay service wing to the north. In the garden front are three bay windows, a Venetian window and a door. Above the door is a sundial. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

Tilstone Lodge is a country house in the parish of Tiverton and Tilstone Fearnall, Cheshire, England. It was built between 1821 and 1825 for Admiral John Richard Delap Halliday, who later changed his surname to Tollemache. The architect was Thomas Harrison of Chester. The house is described by Figueirdo and Treuherz as being "pleasantly spacious but not grand". It is constructed in stuccoed brick with ashlar dressings, and it has a slate roof. The house is in two storeys with sash windows, and has a porte-cochère with two pairs of unfluted Doric columns. An orangery was added to the southeast corner later in the 19th century. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

The Chantry House, also known as the Chantry Priests' (or Priest's) House and formerly the Old School House, is a medieval half-timbered or "black-and-white" house, dating from around 1527, in Bunbury, Cheshire, England. It was originally associated with the chantry chapel in the nearby parish church of St Boniface, founded by Sir Ralph Egerton. After the chantry's dissolution, it became associated with Thomas Aldersey's grammar school. The Chantry House is an early surviving example of a residential timber-framed building in Cheshire, with many typically medieval features. It is listed at grade II* for "the quality of framing throughout."
