Maccabi Ground, Petah Tikva (Hebrew: מגרש מכבי פתח תקווה) was a football stadium in Petah Tikva, on Stampfer street. The ground was in use between 1926 and 1975 and was abandoned when the lot was given to the Petah Tikva municipality and was built over.

The Yarkon Railway (Hebrew: מסילת הירקון, romanized: Mesilat HaYarkon) is a double-track railroad following the course of the Yarkon River in the central area of Israel. It is about 15 km long, stretching from the Coastal Railway to the Eastern Railway.

Hapoel Ground, Petah Tikva (Hebrew: מגרש הפועל פתח תקווה) was a football stadium in Petah Tikva, on Abravanel street. The ground was in use between 1940 and 1967, when the team moved to the Municipal Stadium.

Kfar Avraham (Hebrew: כפר אברהם) was a moshav founded by Hapoel HaMizrachi organization in March 1932. Kfar Avraham officially became part of Petah Tikva in 1952 and is today a neighborhood in the northern part of the city.

Nahal Hadar is a seasonal stream in Israel and one of the tributaries of Yarkon River. The stream originates in the area of Moshav Giv'at Hen south of Ra'anana, mainly in the Hod HaSharon area, and flows into the Yarkon River near Tel Kane opposite the mouth of Nahal Shilo.

Petah Tikva (Hebrew: פֶּתַח תִּקְוָה, IPA: [ˌpe.taχ ˈtik.va], "Opening of Hope"), also known as Em HaMoshavot ("Mother of the Moshavot"), is a city in the Central District of Israel, 10.6 km (6.6 mi) east of Tel Aviv. It was founded in 1878, mainly by Ultra-Orthodox Jews of the Old Yishuv, and became a permanent settlement in 1883 with the financial help of Baron Edmond de Rothschild. In 2019, the city had a population of 247,956. Its population density is approximately 6,277 inhabitants per square kilometre (16,260/sq mi). Its jurisdiction covers 35,868 dunams (~35.9 km2 or 15 sq mi). Petah Tikva is part of the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area.

The Great Synagogue of Petah Tikva, (Hebrew: בית הכנסת הגדול בפתח תקוה), is the city's central synagogue and located on Hovevei Zion Street, in the centre of Petah Tikva, Israel. The building was designed by Daniel HaCohen Lifshitz, one of the pioneering residents of the city and is named after James Mayer de Rothschild, the father of the Baron Edmond James de Rothschild.

The Petah Tikva Segula railway station is a suburban passenger railway station in Israel, operated by Israel Railways. It is located on the Yarkon Railway in northeast Petah Tikva at the Yarkonim shopping district across the Segula industrial zone and is separated from the rest of the city. The station was opened in 2000 as part of the Tel Aviv - Rosh ha'ayin line. Initially a temporary structure was used and only a single platform was active, until late 2002 when the final structure was finished and both platforms became active. The station's location is problematic, as it is contained within a commercial center that was constructed without the proper permits (although the station itself was legally built). As a result, after a series of failed legal appeals the center was closed in 2019, complicating the access to and parking at the station.

The Petah Tikva Municipal Stadium, commonly known as HaUrva Stadium (Hebrew: אצטדיון האורווה, Itztadion HaUrva, lit. Livery Stable Stadium) was a multi-use stadium in the central Israeli city of Petah Tikva, and is now a place which is a neighborhood. It was replaced by HaMoshava Stadium in 2011. The stadium was built in 1965, and has two all-seater stands on either side of the pitch with a seated capacity of 6,768. Both ends are undeveloped and are used as parking spaces for team buses. Though the stadium is defined as multi-use, it is in reality used almost entirely for football. It is the home stadium of both Hapoel Petah Tikva and city rivals Maccabi Petah Tikva, who moved to the stadium in the late 1970s after their Maccabi Sports Ground was abandoned. The stadium has hosted European football, as Hapoel have played in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, the UEFA Cup and the Intertoto Cup and Maccabi in the Intertoto Cup. Although Maccabi have qualified for the UEFA Cup twice in recent seasons, security concerns have prevented matches from being staged in the city, with matches played either abroad or in the Ramat Gan Stadium in the Tel Aviv District city of Ramat Gan. In summer 2010 the stadium was abandoned and turned into a neighborhood.

Ahad HaAm High School, located in Petah Tikva, Israel is named after Asher Zvi Hirsch Ginsberg, primarily known by his Hebrew name and pen name, Ahad HaAm, (Hebrew: אחד העם, lit. one of the people, Genesis 26:10). The high school won the National Education Award for 2010 from the Israeli Ministry of Education in recognition of its excellence in education and outstanding matriculation rate – 95.32%.The high school campus also houses the Open University's Petah Tikva College. It is being currently led by principal Anat Arnon. In September 2013 an adjacent junior high was founded, also named Ahad HaAm, with students continuing from the junior high to the high school.

The Lomza Yeshiva (Hebrew: ישיבת לומזה) was an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva in Łomża, Poland, founded by Rabbi Eliezer Bentzion Shulevitz in 1883. Rabbi Yechiel Mordechai Gordon served as the yeshiva's rosh yeshiva for many years, and Rabbi Moshe Rosenstain served as the mashgiach. A branch of the yeshiva was established in Petach Tikvah, Palestine in 1926, where Rabbi Reuven Katz served as co-rosh yeshiva alongside Rabbi Gordon.

Ein Ganim (Hebrew: עין גנים) was the first moshav po'alim ("workers' moshav") in Ottoman Palestine. It was established in 1908 near Petah Tikva by members of the Second Aliyah and was named after the Levitical city of Ein Ganim, mentioned in the book of Joshua 21:29. The moshav poalim was an attempt to combine farming and urban labor (garden city movement). In addition to working in the city, families received land for tending small kitchen gardens. The moshav poalim differed in approach from the moshav ovdim ("laborers' moshav"): It was not based on collective ideology or settling national land. The experiment failed because the kitchen gardens did not generate sufficient income. According to the 1931 census Ein Ganim had a population of 335 Jews, in 77 houses.In 1937, Ein Ganim became a neighborhood of Petah Tikva.
