Ahad HaAm High School, located in Petah Tikva, Israel is named after Asher Zvi Hirsch Ginsberg, primarily known by his Hebrew name and pen name, Ahad HaAm, (Hebrew: אחד העם, lit. one of the people, Genesis 26:10). The high school won the National Education Award for 2010 from the Israeli Ministry of Education in recognition of its excellence in education and outstanding matriculation rate – 95.32%.The high school campus also houses the Open University's Petah Tikva College. It is being currently led by principal Anat Arnon. In September 2013 an adjacent junior high was founded, also named Ahad HaAm, with students continuing from the junior high to the high school.

Rabin Medical Center (Hebrew: מרכז רפואי רבין) is a major hospital and medical center located in Petah Tikva, Israel. It is owned and operated by Clalit Health Services, Israel's largest health maintenance organization. In January 1996, Beilinson Hospital and Hasharon Hospital were merged and renamed Rabin Medical Center. It has a capacity of 1,300 beds.

The HaMoshava Stadium (Hebrew: אִצְטַדְיוֹן הַמוֹשָׁבָה), also known as Petah Tikva Stadium, is a football stadium in Petah Tikva, Israel. It was completed in 2011, and is used mainly for football matches and is home to both Hapoel Petah Tikva and Maccabi Petah Tikva.The stadium has an all-seated capacity of 11,500 with an option for further construction of 8,500 on the south and north stands, totaling 20,000 seats. As part of a larger sports park in the new industrial area of the city, the complex will also boast a 3,000 seat multi-purpose arena, and artificial turf training fields. The budget for the stadium was US$25 million.The designers of the new stadium were GAB (Goldshmidt Arditty Ben Nayim) Architects, one of Israel's leading sport architecture firms that also designed the new Netanya Stadium and Haberfeld Stadium. The stadium was inaugurated on 6 December 2011, after almost two years of construction. It was one of four venues for the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, staging three group matches and a semi-final. The stadium's naming was controversial in Petah Tikva, as some local residents wished to name it Rosh HaZahav (Gold head), after local city club Hapoel Petah Tikva and Israel national football player Nahum Stelmach. As a result, Maccabi Petah Tikva supporters proposed to name the stadium after Shmuel Ben-Dror, who played in the club for more than twenty years, was Israel's first captain and scored the first ever goal for Israel. After the city's refusal it was named HaMoshava after Petah Tikva's nickname, Em HaMoshavot (Mother of the Moshavot). In 2014 HaMoshava Stadium hosted the 2014 United Supercup.

Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel, founded in 1992, is a paediatric hospital focused on children's health, particularly organ transplantation and cancers. Schneider treats infants, children, teens, and young adults up to age 18 and for some conditions, age 21.

The Petah Tikva Museum of Art is an art museum in Arlozorov Street, Petah Tikva, Israel.

The Petah Tikva-Kiryat Aryeh railway station is a suburban passenger railway station in Israel, operated by Israel Railways. It is located in the northern Kiryat Aryeh business area and industrial zone of Petah Tikva, and mainly serves commuters from other towns who work in Petah Tikva. The station is adjacent to HaMoshava Stadium. It consists of a passenger hall and two side platforms serving two tracks on the Yarkon Railway. Space exists to allow converting the far side platform to an island platform, allowing the station to serve a total of three tracks in the future. As of 2020, the Tel Aviv Red Line light rail's maintenance depot is being constructed across the tracks from the Kiryat Aryeh railway station, as is a light rail station and a pedestrian tunnel which will allow passengers to transfer between the heavy rail and light rail stations. In October 2019 the station was the setting of a viral video. The video showcased a feral cat sitting on the gates while passengers streamed past it. The two-minute video went viral and accumulated millions of views and TV coverage around the world, a few days later the mayor of Petah Tikva came to pay tribute to the cat and was also caught on camera and became a part of the ongoing story

The Great Synagogue of Petah Tikva, (Hebrew: בית הכנסת הגדול בפתח תקוה), is the city's central synagogue and located on Hovevei Zion Street, in the centre of Petah Tikva, Israel. The building was designed by Daniel HaCohen Lifshitz, one of the pioneering residents of the city and is named after James Mayer de Rothschild, the father of the Baron Edmond James de Rothschild.

The Yarkon Railway (Hebrew: מסילת הירקון, romanized: Mesilat HaYarkon) is a double-track railroad following the course of the Yarkon River in the central area of Israel. It is about 15 km long, stretching from the Coastal Railway to the Eastern Railway.

Petah Tikva (Hebrew: פֶּתַח תִּקְוָה, IPA: [ˌpe.taχ ˈtik.va], "Opening of Hope"), also known as Em HaMoshavot ("Mother of the Moshavot"), is a city in the Central District of Israel, 10.6 km (6.6 mi) east of Tel Aviv. It was founded in 1878, mainly by Ultra-Orthodox Jews of the Old Yishuv, and became a permanent settlement in 1883 with the financial help of Baron Edmond de Rothschild. In 2019, the city had a population of 247,956. Its population density is approximately 6,277 inhabitants per square kilometre (16,260/sq mi). Its jurisdiction covers 35,868 dunams (~35.9 km2 or 15 sq mi). Petah Tikva is part of the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area.

Segula Cemetery is the first cemetery in the city of Petah Tikva, Israel. The cemetery is located in the Segula industrial area of the city and is considered one of the oldest active cemeteries in Israel. The cemetery spans an area of approximately 270 dunams and contains around 80,000 graves, the vast majority of which belong to residents of Petah Tikva and Bnei Brak. The other plots have been sold for a fee.

The Lomza Yeshiva (Hebrew: ישיבת לומזה) was an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva in Łomża, Poland, founded by Rabbi Eliezer Bentzion Shulevitz in 1883. Rabbi Yechiel Mordechai Gordon served as the yeshiva's rosh yeshiva for many years, and Rabbi Moshe Rosenstain served as the mashgiach. A branch of the yeshiva was established in Petach Tikvah, Palestine in 1926, where Rabbi Reuven Katz served as co-rosh yeshiva alongside Rabbi Gordon.
