Kings Island (Connecticut)

The Warehouse Point railroad bridge is a girder bridge with a truss main span crossing the Connecticut River between Enfield and Suffield, Connecticut. It carries Amtrak's New Haven–Springfield Line. The bridge has spaces for two tracks, but only one is connected to the mainline. It is one of a few iron bridges erected in the United States before the end of the American Civil War.

Bridge No. 455 is a historic open spandrel concrete bridge, carrying Connecticut Route 159 across Stony Brook in southern Suffield, Connecticut. Completed in 1929, it is one of six surviving open spandrel concrete bridges in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Enfield–Suffield Covered Bridge was a wooden covered bridge over the Connecticut River located between Enfield, Connecticut, and Suffield, Connecticut. The bridge connected Bridge Lane on the Enfield (east) side of the river with Bridge Street on the Suffield side of the river. Half of the bridge was destroyed in a flood on February 15, 1900. Hosea Keach, agent for the New Haven Railroad at Enfield Bridge station, which was at the entrance to the bridge, was on the bridge when it collapsed. He rode a piece of the span down the river, and climbed to the roof, where he was seen by two railroad employees at the Warehouse Point railroad bridge. They lowered a rope from the railroad bridge as he passed below, rescuing him.The remains of the bridge were purchased by Southern New England Telephone, which blew up the remaining part of the bridge and used the piers for carrying telephone wires across the river.

The MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution is a Level 4 & 5 (high & maximum) security level multi-mission facility for adult males, in Suffield, Connecticut. Based on its inmates population, it is the largest correctional facility in New England. It came into being on May 15, 2001, as the result of the merge between the Walker Reception and Special Management Unit and the MacDougall Correctional Institution. Combined the facility resides on 140 acres. The Staff & Inmates Population consists of (as of January 1, 2013): Accused: 264 Sentenced: 1,785 Total: 2,049 Staff: 678

St. John's Episcopal Church is a historic church at 92 Main Street in the Warehouse Point section of East Windsor, Connecticut. Built in 1804, its interior was extensively restyled in the second half of the 19th century to resemble a Gothic English country church. The building, still in active use by the original congregation, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Bridge Street Bridge is a crossing for Route 140 over the Connecticut River, connecting the towns of Windsor Locks and East Windsor. The current bridge was completed in 1992. The previous bridge at this location was a 7-span through Pratt truss built in 1921. Before that there was a suspension bridge built in 1886. Originally, there was a ferry secured to a mid-river pier.

The Enfield Historic District encompasses a two-mile stretch of Enfield Street, the main north-south road of Enfield, Connecticut. Centered on the town common with its church and old town hall, it includes a diversity of residential architecture from the 18th to early 20th centuries. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The J. R. Montgomery Company Industrial Complex is a historic factory complex located on an island between the Enfield Falls Canal and the Connecticut River in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. It is next to the Windsor Locks Canal State Park Trail. The site has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2017.

The Connecticut Trolley Museum, also known as the Warehouse Point Trolley Museum, is the oldest incorporated museum dedicated to electric railroading in the United States. Founded in October 1940, the museum is located in East Windsor, Connecticut and is open to the public April through December. The museum features static and moving displays, and self-guided tours of the state's trolley history. Also located on the same property is the Connecticut Fire Museum which exhibits antique fire apparatus and motor coaches.

Enfield High School is a secondary school established in 1893 in Enfield, Connecticut. The Enfield High School campus is located in the Connecticut River Valley, on Enfield Street (U.S. Route 5) in Enfield's Historical District. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1400 students. The present facility was erected in 1964 on Enfield Street. The facility underwent a $6.2 million renovation and library addition completed in 2005, and a $103 million "as-new" renovation and significant expansion completed in 2017. In May 2010, Enfield High School and Enrico Fermi High School underwent a consolidation process as part of the restructuring and improvement plan of Enfield Public Schools. Enfield High School operates as the town's sole high school, which houses both students from Enfield High School and the previous Enrico Fermi High School, which closed its doors in 2016.

The Enfield Town Meetinghouse is a historic Greek Revival style meeting house located on Enfield Street at South Road in Enfield, Connecticut. Completed in 1775 and moved and restyled in 1848, it hosted the municipal government until the 1920s. Now managed by the local historical society as a museum, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Windsor Locks Canal State Park Trail is a public recreation area that parallels the Connecticut River for 4.5 miles (7.2 km) between Suffield and Windsor Locks, Connecticut. The modern paved surface covers the original dirt towpath of the historic Enfield Falls Canal. The park is used for fishing, hiking, and biking.
