The Bridge Street Bridge is a crossing for Route 140 over the Connecticut River, connecting the towns of Windsor Locks and East Windsor. The current bridge was completed in 1992. The previous bridge at this location was a 7-span through Pratt truss built in 1921. Before that there was a suspension bridge built in 1886. Originally, there was a ferry secured to a mid-river pier.

Memorial Hall is a historic meeting hall at South Main and Elm Streets in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Built in 1890 as a memorial to the town's American Civil War soldiers, it has served for most of its existence has a meeting place for veterans' organizations, from the Grand Army of the Republic to the American Legion. It is also one of the town's finest examples of Romanesque architecture, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

St. John's Episcopal Church is a historic church at 92 Main Street in the Warehouse Point section of East Windsor, Connecticut. Built in 1804, its interior was extensively restyled in the second half of the 19th century to resemble a Gothic English country church. The building, still in active use by the original congregation, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Dexter Coffin Bridge is a crossing for Interstate 91 over the Connecticut River north of Hartford, Connecticut, connecting the towns of Windsor Locks, Connecticut and East Windsor, Connecticut. It can be seen from the Windsor Locks Amtrak station.

The Noden-Reed Museum is a historic house museum at 58 West Street in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. It includes the David Pinney House and Barn, and is a surviving reminder of the town's agricultural past. It is administered by the local historical society, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Windsor Locks station is an Amtrak and CT Rail train station in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, on the New Haven–Springfield Line. It is served by four Amtrak services - the Hartford Line shuttles, Northeast Regional, Valley Flyer, and Vermonter - as well as CT Rail Hartford Line commuter rail trains. The current station has only a small platform and shelter. A new station with full-length high-level platform is under construction in downtown Windsor Locks, where the station was located until 1981. The former station building at that site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Windsor Locks Passenger Station.

The Warehouse Point railroad bridge is a girder bridge with a truss main span crossing the Connecticut River between Enfield and Suffield, Connecticut. It carries Amtrak's New Haven–Springfield Line. The bridge has spaces for two tracks, but only one is connected to the mainline. It is one of a few iron bridges erected in the United States before the end of the American Civil War.

Windsor Locks is a town in Hartford County, Connecticut, United States. The town is part of the Capitol Planning Region. As of the 2020 census, its population was 12,613. It is the site of Bradley International Airport, which serves the Greater Hartford-Springfield region and occupies approximately a third of the town. Windsor Locks is also the site of the New England Air Museum. Located beside the Connecticut River and equidistant from the densely populated cities of Springfield, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut, Windsor Locks is named for a set of canal locks that opened in 1829. Windsor Locks is situated just south of the first large falls in the Connecticut River, the Enfield Falls, which is the head of navigation (the farthest point that seagoing vessels can reach) of the Connecticut River. The Enfield Falls Canal circumvents the Enfield Falls and its nearby shallows.

The MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution is a Level 4 & 5 (high & maximum) security level multi-mission facility for adult males, in Suffield, Connecticut. Based on its inmates population, it is the largest correctional facility in New England. It came into being on May 15, 2001, as the result of the merge between the Walker Reception and Special Management Unit and the MacDougall Correctional Institution. Combined the facility resides on 140 acres. The Staff & Inmates Population consists of (as of January 1, 2013): Accused: 264 Sentenced: 1,785 Total: 2,049 Staff: 678

Bridge No. 455 is a historic open spandrel concrete bridge, carrying Connecticut Route 159 across Stony Brook in southern Suffield, Connecticut. Completed in 1929, it is one of six surviving open spandrel concrete bridges in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Kings Island is the largest island in the Connecticut River and is located between Enfield and Suffield, Connecticut in Hartford County. Other names include Colonel John Pynchon's Island, Copper Island, Devotion Island, General Lyman Island, Great Island, Lyman Island, and Terry's Island The island is nearly a mile long and contains 104 Acres.

The Connecticut Trolley Museum, also known as the Warehouse Point Trolley Museum, is the oldest incorporated museum dedicated to electric railroading in the United States. Founded in October 1940, the museum is located in East Windsor, Connecticut and is open to the public April through December. The museum features static and moving displays, and self-guided tours of the state's trolley history. Also located on the same property is the Connecticut Fire Museum which exhibits antique fire apparatus and motor coaches.
