Gare du Palais ("Palace Station") is a train and bus station in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Its name comes from its proximity to the Palace of the Intendant of New France. It is served by Via Rail, Canada's national passenger railway, and by the private coach company Orléans Express. Built in 1915 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, the two-storey châteauesque station is similar in design to the Château Frontenac hotel. The station had no passenger rail service from 1976 to 1985. It reopened in 1985, and is the eastern terminus of Via Rail's Corridor services in Ontario and Quebec, serving regular daily services west to Montreal's Central Station and Ottawa via Drummondville, for at most 10 trains per day. It was designated a Heritage Railway Station in 1992.

The Communauté métropolitaine de Québec (CMQ), or Quebec Metropolitan Community, is an administrative division of the province of Quebec, comprising the metropolitan area of Quebec City and Lévis. The CMQ is one of the two metropolitan communities of Quebec.

It is part of the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Québec (CHUQ), a network of five teaching hospitals and several specialized institutions. Its areas of expertise include cancer treatment, kidney disease and cochlear implants. It has an affiliated research centre, the Centre de recherche de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Québec. This hospital was the first such facility in Canada, and the first in North America, north of Mexico.

Le Diamant Theatre is a large-scale performing arts venue in the center of Québec City, Québec, Canada. Coarchitecture, In Situ, Jacques Plante Architects, OPI, Trizart Alliance, and Tetra Tech were chosen as the project's primary architects and structural designers to meet Quebec City's expanding needs for leisure, entertainment, and urban development. Le Diamant unifies traditional and modern architecture with the use of glass and asymmetrical design. The theater is located at the intersection of Rue des Glacis and Rue Saint-Jean, across from the historic square, Place D'Youville, in Quebec City's Saint-Roch neighborhood. Le Diamant Theatre was built over the course of three years by the Canadian construction company Pomerleau Inc., and it opened its doors in June 2019. Le Diamant Theatre was constructed for a total cost of $54 million, with an additional $10 million from the Quebec government, and the remaining money coming from private funding. New meeting rooms, offices, parking facilities, and a link between the upper and lower towns were all built as part of the project.Le Diamant Theatre's main auditorium has seating for up to 625 people. The theater holds several practice rooms, offices, and a café, as well as a smaller hall with seating for around 150 people. In addition, with the use of cutting-edge technology, such as sophisticated lighting and sound systems, a retractable orchestra pit, and a hydraulic stage, the building is created to host complex performances. Diamant Theatre's facade is covered by a large glass volume that glistens in the sunlight. The glass panels were designed to resemble diamond facets, hence the name "Le Diamant." A significant cultural icon in Quebec City, the theater has grown to become one of the main tourist destinations.

Place D’Youville, also referred to as carré D'Youville, is a public square in the core of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It is situated on rue Saint-Jean, one of the oldest roads in Quebec City. It marks the boundary between the Quebec Parliament Hill and Old Quebec. The square is named in honour of Marie-Marguerite d'Youville, a French Canadian widow who founded the religious order known as the Grey Nuns of Montreal.In addition to the square itself, Place D'Youville is also used to refer to the area surrounding the bus terminal for the Réseau de transport de la Capitale (Quebec City's transit system), the Palais Montcalm, and the Théâtre Capitole de Québec. Part of the square is transformed into a skating rink during winter months, and to its west is the sculpture "The Muses" by Alfred Laliberté, donated by the Government of Quebec for the 375th anniversary of the city in 1983.

The Jesuit Chapel is a chapel of the Society of Jesus located in the Old Quebec neighbourhood of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It was designed by François Baillairgé and built in from 1818 to 1930. It is situated on Rue Dauphine in Old Quebec close to the ramparts of Quebec City.

The Morrin Centre is a cultural centre in the Old Quebec neighbourhood of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It is designed to educate the public about the historic contribution and present-day culture of local English-speakers. The centre contains the private English-language library of the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec, heritage spaces for events, and interpretation services. The English-language library has been located in the Morrin Centre since 1868. The Library is the repository of the LHSQ's collection of historical documents, including copies of the society's journal, Transactions. These documents include original, scientific, historical, and literary articles from the nineteenth century, as well as reprints of older historical primary sources found in archives around the world. In order to access these materials, one must be a member of the library.

Collège Bart is a private college in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The school was founded in 1917 by Jean-Baptiste Bart, a teacher who emigrated from France. Bart's son Jean-Guy Bart became one of the leaders of the college. The current directors are Michel Bellerose and Johanne Renauld.

The Dorchester Bridge is a bridge in Quebec City which was built by Asa Porter and opened on 24 September 1789. The bridge was named after Guy Carleton, 1st Baron Dorchester and was the first permanent bridge in Quebec City. The bridge crossed the Saint-Charles River near its mouth, connecting to Craig Street.In 1822 the bridge was rebuilt and moved slightly to the west. The new structure was built by Anthony Hedley Anderson and his partner, a Mr. Smith, and was operated as a toll bridge. The long wooden structure included a drawbridge to allow ships to pass.

The École nationale d'administration publique (ENAP meaning National School of Public Administration) is a graduate school in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It was established in 1969 by the Quebec provincial government as a means of encouraging people to study professional public administration during a period when a number of social and structural changes were taking place within the province. The enabling legislation is An Act respecting educational institutions at the university level.The school is unique in that it is partly a pragmatic learning environment geared to educating Quebecers for positions within the public administration and partly a traditional university. ENAP has five campuses throughout Quebec, with two major campuses in Quebec City and Montreal, and three campuses in Gatineau, Saguenay, and Trois-Rivières.
