Rivière des Roches (rivière du Berger)

The rivière des Sept Ponts (English: river of the seven bridges) is a tributary of the rivière du Berger flowing in the sectors of Beauport and Charlesbourg, in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The upper part of the valley of the Sept Ponts river does not have a road. Its lower part, downstream from Lac Bégon, is located mainly in urban areas and is mainly served by Boulevard Henri-Bourassa, Rue Sophia Melvin and Rue des Nations Est. The surface of the Sept Ponts river (except the rapids areas) is generally frozen from the beginning of December to the end of March; however, safe circulation on the ice is generally done from the end of December to the beginning of March. The water level of the river varies with the seasons and the precipitation; the spring flood occurs in March or April.

Charlesbourg—Haute-Saint-Charles (formerly Charlesbourg and Charlesbourg—Jacques Cartier) is a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1979.

In the change from the 2011 to the 2018 electoral map, the riding will gain some territory (roughly the area between Rivère des Roches to Rue George-Muir) from Chauveau.

The Lac des Roches (English: lake of rocks) is a freshwater body of the city of Quebec, in the region of the Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. It is the main reserve of drinking water in the arrondissement of Charlesbourg. Lac des Roches is mainly fed by five forest streams from the surrounding mountains. The lac Beauport is a body of water located north of Quebec, surrounded by the municipality of Lac-Beauport, in the La Jacques-Cartier Regional County Municipality, in the region of Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. It covers an area of 0.8 square kilometres (0.31 sq mi), at a maximum depth of 13 meters. The lake outlet flows into the Jaune River. Lac Beauport is mainly supplied by the outlet of Lagueux and Tourbillon lakes and by the outlet of a small unidentified lake. Vanier is a former provincial electoral district located in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada, which elected members to the National Assembly of Quebec. As of its final election, it included mostly western and central portions of Quebec City west of Quebec Autoroute 73. It was created for the 1973 election from parts of the riding of Saint-Sauveur. Its final election was in 2008. It disappeared in the 2012 election and the successor electoral district was Vanier-Les Rivières.
