Charlesbourg—Haute-Saint-Charles (formerly Charlesbourg and Charlesbourg—Jacques Cartier) is a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1979.

The Rivière des Roches is a tributary of the rivière du Berger flowing in the sectors Beauport and Charlesbourg in Quebec City, in the region of Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. Taking its source in the Lac des Roches, it has a length of approximately 5.3 km. The valley of the Roches river does not have a road except its upper part which is served east of Lac des Roches by Arthur-Drolet road and northeast by Lac-des-Roches road. While its lower part crosses an urban area. The surface of the Rivière des Roches (except the rapids areas) is generally frozen from the beginning of December to the end of March; however, safe circulation on the ice is generally done from the end of December to the beginning of March. The water level of the river varies with the seasons and the precipitation; the spring flood occurs in March or April.

Charlesbourg is a borough of Quebec City, in the northeastern part of the city, west of the borough of Beauport.

Charlesbourg is a provincial electoral district in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of part of the Charlesbourg borough of Quebec City. It was created for the 1973 election from parts of Chauveau and Montmorency electoral districts. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, it lost very small amounts of territory to Jean-Lesage and Montmorency electoral districts. In the change from the 2011 to the 2018 electoral map, the riding will gain some territory (roughly the area between Rivère des Roches to Rue George-Muir) from Chauveau.

Lac-Saint-Charles–Saint-Émile is the northernmost district of Quebec City located in the borough of La Haute-Saint-Charles. The district was created following an electoral reorganization in 2009. Before the 2000–2006 municipal reorganization in Quebec, the area was occupied by the cities of Saint-Émile and Lac-Saint-Charles.

It is the main reserve of drinking water in the arrondissement of Charlesbourg. Lac des Roches is mainly fed by five forest streams from the surrounding mountains. The lac Beauport is a body of water located north of Quebec, surrounded by the municipality of Lac-Beauport, in the La Jacques-Cartier Regional County Municipality, in the region of Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. It covers an area of 0.8 square kilometres (0.31 sq mi), at a maximum depth of 13 meters. The lake outlet flows into the Jaune River. Lac Beauport is mainly supplied by the outlet of Lagueux and Tourbillon lakes and by the outlet of a small unidentified lake. Wendake is the current name for two urban reserves, Wendake 7 (46°51′24″N 71°21′12″W) and Wendake 7A, (46°52′13″N 71°21′54″W) of the Huron-Wendat Nation in the Canadian province of Quebec. They are enclaves entirely surrounded by the La Haute-Saint-Charles borough of Quebec City, within the former city of Loretteville. One of the Seven Nations of Canada, the settlement was formerly known as Village-des-Hurons ("Huron Village"), and also as (Jeune)-Lorette ("New Lorette"). Since the late 20th century, archeologists have found large 16th-century villages of the Wendat (Huron) in the northern Lake Ontario region, which is where they believe the people coalesced as a distinct group. Later they migrated south and by the early 17th century had settled in their historical territory of Wendake in the Georgian Bay region. The Wyandot Confederation was made up of loosely associated tribes who spoke a mutually intelligible Iroquoian language.

Les Rivières (The Rivers) is a borough of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Population (2006): 59,920. It comprises 5 neighbourhoods: Neufchâtel-Est, Lebourgneuf, Duberger, Les Saules and Vanier. Except for Vanier, all of these neighbourhoods were part of the pre-2002 city of Quebec.

Vanier-Les Rivières is a provincial electoral district in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada, that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It consists of the entire territory of the Les Rivières borough of Quebec City. It was created for the 2012 election from a light modification to the former Vanier electoral district.
