Berg en Dal (literally in English: Mountain and Valley) is a municipality in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. It was formed through a merger of the municipalities of Groesbeek, Millingen aan de Rijn and Ubbergen in 2015. The resulting larger municipality maintained the name of Groesbeek until 2016, when it was renamed to Berg en Dal after the village of Berg en Dal.Berg en Dal has about 34,714 inhabitants and covers an area of about 93 km². The municipality borders in the north on the Waal river and the Bijlands Kanaal, in the east on the German forest of the Reichswald, in the south on the province of Limburg, in the southwest on the forest of the Mookerheide (also Limburg), and in the west on the city of Nijmegen. Berg en Dal is slightly hilly with altitudes reaching the 75 meters, like the Duivelsberg. The International Four Days Marches Nijmegen crosses the municipality on the 3rd day (Day of Groesbeek).

Groesbeek (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɣruzbeːk] (listen)) is a town and former municipality in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. In January 2015 the former municipality merged with Millingen aan de Rijn and Ubbergen. The larger area was known as Groesbeek until January 2016, when its name was changed to Berg en Dal.

Achilles '29 Vrouwen is the women's section of Dutch football club Achilles '29 from Groesbeek, Netherlands.The amateur team is called Achilles '29 Dames and pre-dates the professional team (Achilles '29 Vrouwen) which was established in 2015. The club has been competing in the Eredivisie for Women since the 2016–17 season.

Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery and Memorial (French:Le Cimetière de Guerre Canadien Groesbeek, Dutch:Canadese Oorlogsbegraafplaats Groesbeek) is a Second World War Commonwealth War Graves Commission military war grave cemetery, located in the village of Groesbeek, 8 km (5.0 mi) southeast of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Of the total 2,619 burials, the cemetery contains 2,338 Canadian soldiers. It was built to a design by Commission architect Philip Hepworth.

Breedeweg is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Berg en Dal, about 1 km south of Groesbeek.It was first mentioned in 1899 as Breedeweg, and means "wide road". The St. Antonius Church was built in 1934, and destroyed in 1944 during Operation Market Garden. In 1949, the church was rebuilt, and a monument has been erected for the dead allied soldiers and the two civilians who were killed by a grenade while cleaning up the debris.Breedeweg and Groesbeek have been expanding, and are now close to one-another. In the late 2010s, the municipality changed the place name sign to "Groesbeek Breedeweg". Nevertheless, it is still a separate village and not annexed.

Heikant is a former hamlet in the municipality of Berg en Dal, in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It was located about 3 km northeast of Groesbeek, on the German border. According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Heikant (or "De Heikant") consisted of 44 houses and had a population of 140 in the middle of the 19th century.

De Horst is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Berg en Dal, about 2 km east of Groesbeek.The village started to developed after the Divine Heart of Jesus Christ Church was built in 1928. On 20 September 1944, the village was in the line of fire during Operation Market Garden, and almost all buildings including the church were destroyed. De Horst and Groesbeek have been expanding into a single urban area. In the late 2010s, the municipality changed the place name sign to "Groesbeek De Horst". Nevertheless, it is still a separate village and not annexed.

Duivelsberg (German: Wylerberg or Teufelsberg, which literally translates to 'the devil's mountain') is a hill and nature reserve in the municipality of Berg en Dal in the Dutch province of Gelderland, near the border with Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia). It is politically significant, however, because Duivelsberg is the only part of the Netherlands that was both annexed from Germany and retained after World War II.

Berg en Dal is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located to the southeast of the city of Nijmegen. The village lies in the municipality of Berg en Dal. One of the attractions in the village is the Africa Museum, which consists of a number of African villages, rebuilt on a 1:1 scale.

Plasmolen (Limburgish: De Plasmeule) is a village in the municipality of Mook en Middelaar, in the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. It is situated between the Meuse (river) and the Municipality Groesbeek. The town is situated in a moraine landscape, the St. Jansberg is an example of this. The "St. Jansberg" is a unique hiking area, located on the moraine. The area covers approximately 250 hectares and is owned by Natuurmonumenten. The Pieterpad runs through this area. The 'Bovenste Plasmolen', a watermill dating from 1725, but probably older and the remains of the largest Roman villa ever found in the Netherlands are in this area. The villa was discovered in 1931 and is probably from the 2nd century AD.

The Africa Museum (Dutch: Afrika Museum) is a museum in Berg en Dal in the Netherlands. The museum on the outskirts of the city of Nijmegen is a complex with indoor as well as open-air display areas, covering art, culture, music, photographs, videos and architecture of Africa. As of 2014, the museum, along with the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam, and National Museum of Ethnology (Museum Volkenkunde) in Leiden, together make up the National Museum of World Cultures.
