Africa Museum

Berg en Dal is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located to the southeast of the city of Nijmegen. The village lies in the municipality of Berg en Dal. One of the attractions in the village is the Africa Museum, which consists of a number of African villages, rebuilt on a 1:1 scale.

Ubbergen (Dutch pronunciation: [ʏˈbɛrɣə(n)] (listen)) is village and former municipality in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. The village is part of the municipality of Berg en Dal (formerly known as Groesbeek).

Beek is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Berg en Dal, about 5 km east of Nijmegen. It was sometimes referred to as "Beek (bij Nijmegen)" or "Beek-Ubbergen" because there are many villages called Beek.

Notre Dame des Anges, usually called the Notre Dame, is a secondary education school in the Netherlands. The school is located in Ubbergen (near the city of Nijmegen), in the province of Gelderland. It is the only secondary school in the Netherlands that only offers higher general continued education (Dutch: havo). Notre Dame des Anges is named after the Chapel of Notre Dame des Anges near Lurs, in the French Alps; this chapel was supposed to be miraculous.

Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery and Memorial (French:Le Cimetière de Guerre Canadien Groesbeek, Dutch:Canadese Oorlogsbegraafplaats Groesbeek) is a Second World War Commonwealth War Graves Commission military war grave cemetery, located in the village of Groesbeek, 8 km (5.0 mi) southeast of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. Of the total 2,619 burials, the cemetery contains 2,338 Canadian soldiers. It was built to a design by Commission architect Philip Hepworth.

Heilig Landstichting (Dutch for Holy Land Foundation) is a village in the eastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Berg en Dal, Gelderland, near Nijmegen. Its best known attraction is the Museumpark Orientalis, the former Holy Land Museum.

Duivelsberg (German: Wylerberg or Teufelsberg, which literally translates to 'the devil's mountain') is a hill and nature reserve in the municipality of Berg en Dal in the Dutch province of Gelderland, near the border with Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia). It is politically significant, however, because Duivelsberg is the only part of the Netherlands that was both annexed from Germany and retained after World War II.

Berg en Dal (literally in English: Mountain and Valley) is a municipality in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. It was formed through a merger of the municipalities of Groesbeek, Millingen aan de Rijn and Ubbergen in 2015. The resulting larger municipality maintained the name of Groesbeek until 2016, when it was renamed to Berg en Dal after the village of Berg en Dal.Berg en Dal has about 34,714 inhabitants and covers an area of about 93 km². The municipality borders in the north on the Waal river and the Bijlands Kanaal, in the east on the German forest of the Reichswald, in the south on the province of Limburg, in the southwest on the forest of the Mookerheide (also Limburg), and in the west on the city of Nijmegen. Berg en Dal is slightly hilly with altitudes reaching the 75 meters, like the Duivelsberg. The International Four Days Marches Nijmegen crosses the municipality on the 3rd day (Day of Groesbeek).

Groesbeek (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɣruzbeːk] (listen)) is a town and former municipality in the province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. In January 2015 the former municipality merged with Millingen aan de Rijn and Ubbergen. The larger area was known as Groesbeek until January 2016, when its name was changed to Berg en Dal.

Persingen is a village situated in the municipality of Berg en Dal in the province of Gelderland. In 2021, Persingen had 105 inhabitants. The village claims to be the smallest village of the Netherlands for tourist reasons, however there are many more contestants who are much smaller; the former island of Schokland and the former squatter village of Ruigoord have the best credentials.

The Freedom Museum (Dutch: Vrijheidsmuseum), until September 2019 National Liberation Museum 1944-1945, is a museum in Groesbeek, the museum is about the liberation of the Netherlands at the end of World War II. The museum is located in Groesbeek, close to the German border. The structure shaped like a parachute was built in remembrance of the Rhineland Offensive (Operation Veritable, Operation Grenade, Operation Blockbuster, Operation Plunder and Operation Varsity) and of the Airdrop of thousands of allied paratroopers on the fields in Groesbeek during Operation Market Garden.

Nijmegen Heyendaal is a railway station located near Radboud University in the southeast of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The station was opened on 28 May 1972 and is located on the Maaslijn (Nijmegen–Venlo). The train services are operated by Arriva. Until 1991, a branch line ran from Heyendaal station to Kleve, Germany. During that time the station had three tracks: 1 and 2 for Nijmegen–Venlo services and 3 for the Nijmegen–Kleve service, although the latter never stopped there. In 2006, a busway was opened over the site of the third track all the way from the Nijmegen's main station to Heyendaal station.
