Maida Hill Tunnel is a canal tunnel on the Regent's Canal in London, England. The two other tunnels on the Regent's Canal are Islington Tunnel and Eyre's Tunnel.

Aberdeen Place is a street in St John's Wood, London. It was laid out after 1823 on the site of a farm once owned by the wealthy yeoman John Lyon, who founded Harrow School in 1571. The farm was located in the former Lisson Manor and was held by the governors of the school, with the proceeds going towards the maintenance of Harrow Road between Harrow and London. The farm was built over from 1823 onwards with the newly constructed streets being named after governors of Harrow School. In the case of Aberdeen Place, it was named after George Hamilton-Gordon, 4th Earl of Aberdeen, who had gone to school at Harrow and was Prime Minister from 1852 to 1855.

Crocker's Folly is a Grade II* listed public house at 24 Aberdeen Place, St John's Wood, London. It was built in 1898, in a Northern Renaissance style, and was previously called The Crown. Geoff Brandwood and Jane Jephcote's guide to heritage pubs in London describes it as "a truly magnificent pub-cum-hotel" with "superb fittings", including extensive use of marble. The architect was Charles Worley.

The Showroom is a not-for-profit art gallery in Marylebone, London, which displays site-specific works by emerging artists. The gallery presents four shows each year, a schedule that allows artists the time to develop and realise their work on site. Established in 1983, the gallery was based at a site in Bethnal Green, East London. In 2008, the gallery relocated to a building in Marylebone, London, on Penfold Street, which was converted by Berlin-based architects ifau + Jesko Fezer.Solo shows at The Showroom in the former East End space included Mona Hatoum, Sam Taylor-Wood, Simon Starling, Christina Mackie, Jim Lambie, Claire Barclay, and Eva Rothschild. The Showroom receives fixed-term funding from Arts Council of England and other organisations and individuals. The director Elvira Dyangani Ose replaced Emily Pethick in 2017. Previous directors were Kirsty Ogg, Kim Sweet and David Thorp.

Paddington Green is a green space and conservation area in the City of Westminster located off Edgware Road and adjacent to the Westway. It is the oldest part of Paddington and became a separate conservation area in 1988, having previously formed part of Maida Vale conservation area. At one time, the Green was surrounded by large Georgian houses, but now only two remain on the east side of the Green.

The Paddington Green Children's Hospital was a hospital in Paddington Green, London, that existed from 1883 to 1987. The former building is now grade II listed with Historic England.

Paddington Town Hall was a municipal building in Harrow Road, Paddington, London. The structure, which was the headquarters of the Paddington Metropolitan Borough Council, was demolished in 1965.

Marylebone Road ( (listen) MAR-li-bən) is an important thoroughfare in central London, within the City of Westminster. It runs east–west from the Euston Road at Regent's Park to the A40 Westway at Paddington. The road which runs in three lanes in both directions, is part of the London Inner Ring Road and as such forms part of the boundary of the zone within which the London congestion charge applies. As part of the ring road and a feeder route to the A40 (and hence the M40 motorway) (to the west) and the A5 and M1 motorway (to the north) much of the traffic leaving central London for the Midlands and the North of England travels on this road. It is frequently heavily congested.

Maida Avenue is a road in the Little Venice area of Maida Vale in London. Located in the City of Westminster, it follows the southern bank of the Regent's Canal close to its junction with the Grand Union Canal. It runs between Warwick Avenue and Edgware Road. Directly across the canal Blomfield Road runs parallel to Maida Avenue. The area was developed in the early nineteenth century and in its early years it was known as Maida Hill West. In 1891 the architect John Loughborough Pearson designed the Catholic Apostolic Church in the street, which is now Grade I listed. A blue plaque in the street commemorates the former residence of the poet John Masefield. The actor Arthur Lowe, known for his role as Captain Mainwaring in the BBC television series Dad's Army, lived in Maida Avenue from 1969 to 1982.

St John's Wood Road Baptist Church is an evangelical Baptist church in St John's Wood, London. The church is situated between Lord's Cricket Ground and Maida Vale.

City of Westminster College is a further education college in the City of Westminster, England, founded originally as Paddington Technical Institute in 1904 and gaining its current name in 1990. The college has two centres in central London, located in Paddington and Maida Vale. It also includes the Cockpit Theatre, a fully operational studio theatre used for training and performances, and a range of outreach centres. Since 2017 it is legally merged with the College of North West London (CNWL) although remains publicly distinct; together the United Colleges Group have over 9,000 enrolled students as of 2019, most in young or adult study programmes and some in apprenticeships.
