Westminster North is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since its 2010 recreation by Karen Buck, a member of the Labour Party. Its previous 1983 to 1997 existence is also covered by this article.

Little Venice is a district in West London, England, around the junction of the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal, the Regent's Canal, and the entrance to Paddington Basin. The junction forms a triangular shape basin. Many of the buildings in the vicinity are Regency white painted stucco terraced town houses and taller blocks (mansions) in the same style. The area is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) west-north-west of Charing Cross and immediately north-west of Paddington.The Little Venice ward of the City of Westminster had 11,040 residents in 2015. Warwick Avenue runs through the area, which is also served by a tube station of the same name.

The Worsley Hotel Fire was a major arson fire at the Worsley Hotel in Maida Vale, London on 13 December 1974. It killed seven people, including a probationary firefighter.

The Hall Place Estate is a housing estate in Maida Vale in the City of Westminster. The estate is immediately west of the Edgware Road. The estate includes the Parsons House skyscraper which has distinctive red and white vertical external cladding. Parsons House was built in 1969 with a concrete panel system. The tower was refurbished in 1984 including the installation of powder coated aluminium panel cladding. There are 120 flats on 20 floors.The other blocks in the estate are low rise. The Radio London Disc Jockey Steve Walsh was living in Parsons House at the time of his death on 1988.

Warwick Avenue is a residential avenue in the Little Venice area of Maida Vale, London. Its southern end is situated adjacent to Paddington Basin, to the north of Paddington station. The street, originally Green Lane and initially Warwick Road before being renamed Warwick Avenue, was named after Jane Warwick of Warwick Hall, Cumbria, whose father-in-law was John Morehead, who in turn was the son-in-law of Robert Thistlethwaite, who leased the land.At the junction of Warwick Avenue with Warrington Crescent and Clifton Gardens is the Anglican Church of St Saviour, consecrated 1856 but rebuilt in modern style in 1973–76. The church was used for the wedding scenes in the promotional video for The Human League hit Love Action (I Believe in Love). Warwick Avenue tube station, a London Underground station on the Bakerloo line, is located on the street. Warwick Avenue houses one of the remaining thirteen Grade II listed Cabmen's Shelters used by London's taxi drivers as a place to buy food and (non-alcoholic) drink."Warwick Avenue", a 2008 single from the album Rockferry by Duffy, took its name from the location after the singer accidentally alighted at Warwick Avenue tube station when unfamiliar with the London Underground.

Warwick Crescent is a street in Little Venice, London. It connects Harrow Road with Westbourne Terrace Road, running along the southern edge of the Grand Union Canal. The street began to be built up around 1852 when William Buddle purchased 12 plots of land for development. The poet Robert Browning lived at No. 19 between 1861 and 1887, where he wrote The Ring and the Book. Beauchamp Lodge at No. 2 Warwick Crescent was used as a hostel for musicians for many years. Katherine Mansfield stayed at the Lodge in 1908.At the turn of the 20th century, the area around the street went into gradual decline and suffered overcrowding. By the 1950s it had become one of the worst slums in London. In 1966, the street was cleared of properties by the Greater London Council and rebuilt.

Maida Hill Tunnel is a canal tunnel on the Regent's Canal in London, England. The two other tunnels on the Regent's Canal are Islington Tunnel and Eyre's Tunnel.

Paddington Town Hall was a municipal building in Harrow Road, Paddington, London. The structure, which was the headquarters of the Paddington Metropolitan Borough Council, was demolished in 1965.

Warwick Avenue ( WORR-ik) is a London Underground station in Little Venice in the City of Westminster in northwest London. The station is on the Bakerloo line, between Paddington and Maida Vale stations, and is in Travelcard Zone 2.

Marylebone Boys' School is a free school set up by parents, teachers and local people of Marylebone in Central London. It opened on Wednesday 3 September 2014 in temporary accommodation in Priory Park Road, London NW6 7UJ, but later moved to a permanent site in North Wharf Road, near Paddington Station.The secondary school is for boys aged 11 – 16 years, then there is a co-educational Sixth Form, 200 metres away for young adults aged 16 – 18 years.

The Warwick Castle is a grade II listed public house at Warwick Place, Maida Vale, London, that was built in 1846. It and Warwick Place were named after Jane Warwick, the bride of the original landowner. The pub is mentioned in the biographies of a number of music figures and London "characters".
