Bethel A.M.E. Church is a historic African Methodist Episcopal Church at 1528 Sumter Street in Columbia, South Carolina.It was built in 1921 and added to the National Register in 1982.

Prisma Health Baptist Hospital (Formerly Baptist Medical Center and Palmetto Health Baptist Columbia) is a 489-bed acute-care facility located at the intersection of Taylor and Marion Streets in Downtown Columbia, South Carolina. The hospital was established in 1914 as South Carolina Baptist Hospital by the South Carolina Baptist Convention after the widow of Dr. Augustus B. Knowlton, a prominent Columbia physician, asked the church to purchase the hospital, at that time a 70-bed facility on Marion St., that she and her husband started. Over the years, the hospital expanded and grew as additional services were offered. Baptist Columbia became part of the Baptist Healthcare System when a second Baptist hospital was built in Easley, South Carolina in 1958. In 1998, the two-hospital Baptist Healthcare System merged with Richland Memorial Hospital to form Palmetto Health, the largest healthcare system in South Carolina at the time. In 2017, Palmetto Health merged with the Greenville Hospital System to form Prisma Health and continues as the largest not-for profit hospital operator in South Carolina.

The Federal Land Bank Building, built in 1924, is a bank in Columbia, South Carolina. It was designed by architect A. Ten Eyck Brown. The Federal Land Bank Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.Construction began in 1923 and was completed in 1924. The building was added on to in 1935.

The Greyhound Bus Depot is a former Greyhound Lines intercity bus station in Columbia, South Carolina. It is at 1200 Blanding Street in downtown Columbia. The depot was named to the National Register of Historic Places on December 28, 1989. After the bus terminal was closed, the building became a bank. Currently, it is a physician's office.

The James Petigru Boyce Chapel is a historic church building at 1306 Hampton Street in Columbia, South Carolina. It is a Greek Revival building built in 1859. A convention met here on December 17, 1860, whose delegates voted unanimously for South Carolina to secede from the United States, leading to the American Civil War. It was designated a National Historic Landmark as First Baptist Church, the role it played at the time. The building is part of the facilities complex of the First Baptist Church, Columbia- a Southern Baptist megachurch.

Ladson Presbyterian Church is a historic African American Presbyterian church located at 1720 Sumter Street in Columbia, South Carolina. The religious building was initially a chapel founded in 1838 and, rebuilt in 1896, and is a one-story-over-raised-basement, rectangular red brick building in the Renaissance Revival style. It has a front gable roof and features two brick entrance towers. The congregation was founded in 1838, as an offshoot congregation of the First Presbyterian Church.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Efird's Department Store, also known as Lourie's Department Store, is a historic department store building located at Columbia, South Carolina. It was built about 1870, and is a rectangular brick building renovated and expanded in 1919. This included the addition of a third story and the installation of a new brick façade and store entrances. Between 1919 and 1958, it housed the Columbia branch of the Charlotte, North Carolina based Efird's Department Store chain. It currently houses a Mast General Store, which moved in on May 25, 2011. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Building at 1644 Main Street, also known as Tapp's Department Store, is a historic commercial building located at Columbia, South Carolina. It was built in 1940, and enlarged in 1950. It is a five- to seven-story, Depression Modern building faced in stucco and dark tremolite stone. Above the main entrance is a distinctive clock face and a sign with large freestanding letters. Tapp's Department Store closed in 1995. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Canal Dime Savings Bank, also known as Eckerd's Drug Store, is a historic bank building located at Columbia, South Carolina. It was built between 1892 and 1895, and is a three-story, Romanesque Revival style brick building with a granite façade and red barrel tile roof. The building was purchased by Eckerd's Drug Store in 1936.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Kress Building is a historic commercial building located at Columbia, South Carolina across the street from the Columbia Museum of Art. It was built in 1934 by S. H. Kress & Co., and is a two-story, Art Deco style building faced with white terra cotta and colored terra cotta ornamentation. It features rounded storefront windows and cornice that contains the word "Kress" and surmounted by a stepped parapet.As of 2016, the bottom floor is a Brazilian Steakhouse and the 2nd floor houses apartments. A penthouse is planned for the roof. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
