Escandón

The 32nd federal electoral district of the Federal District (Distrito electoral federal 32 del Distrito Federal) is a defunct federal electoral district of Mexico. Occupying a portion of what is today Mexico City, it was in existence from 1978 to 1996. During that time, it returned one deputy to the Chamber of Deputies for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system, electing its first in the 1979 mid-terms and its last in the 1994 general election. Votes cast in the district also counted towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the country's electoral regions. The 31st to 40th districts were abolished in the Federal Electoral Institute's 1996 redistricting process because the capital's population no longer warranted that number of seats in Congress.

Tacubaya is a station on Lines 1, 7 and 9 of the Mexico City Metro system. It is located in the Miguel Hidalgo borough, west of the city centre. In 2019, the station had a total average ridership of 85,800 passengers per day, making it the fifth busiest station in the network.

Tacubaya is a working-class area of west-central Mexico City, in the borough of Miguel Hidalgo, consisting of the colonia Tacubaya proper and adjacent areas in other colonias, with San Miguel Chapultepec sección II, Observatorio, Daniel Garza and Ampliación Daniel Garza being also considered part of Tacubaya.The area has been inhabited since the fifth century BCE. Its name comes from Nahuatl, meaning “where water is gathered.” From the colonial period to the beginning of the 20th century, Tacubaya was an separate entity to Mexico City and many of the city’s wealthy, including viceroys, built residences here to enjoy the area’s scenery. From the mid-19th century on, Tacubaya began to urbanize both due to the growth of Mexico City and the growth of its own population. Along with this urbanization, the area has degraded into one of the poorer sections of the city and contains the “La Ciudad Perdida” (The Lost City), a shantytown where people live in shacks of cardboard and other materials. Many of the mansions that were built here in the 19th century remain, such as the Casa Amarilla and Casa de la Bola, but most Mexico City residents are familiar with it due to its transportation hub on Avenida Jalisco where the Metro, Metrobus and many street buses all converge.This area was designated as a "Barrio Mágico" by the city in 2011.

Patriotismo (Spanish: Estación Patriotismo) is a metro station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located in both the Cuauhtémoc and Miguel Hidalgo municipalities of Mexico City. It is part of the Metro Line 9.

Universidad La Salle also referred to by its acronym ULSA is a private Catholic institution of secondary and higher education run by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 15 campuses in Mexico. It offers high school, bachelor, master and Ph.D degrees. It has had an expansion in the country, creating its own university national system. Its main campus is located in Mexico City, and has a presence in Ciudad Obregón, Chihuahua, Gomez Palacio, Monterrey, Ciudad Victoria, Leon, Morelia, Pachuca, Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, Puebla, Oaxaca, Cancun, Cuernavaca and Saltillo. It is part of the educational community of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, founded by Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, patron saint of education. The congregation has about seventy-seven thousand lay partners and one million students around the world, with establishments of higher learning in Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, France, Guatemala, Israel, Ivory Coast, Jerusalem, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines, Spain, the United States, and Venezuela.

Parque Lira is a public park in the Tacubaya district of Mexico City, once a separate town from Mexico City. It is located on the 18th century estate of Vicente Lira. It is entered by a monumental archway designed by Italian architect Francesco Saverio Cavallari, an Italian architect who was active in Mexico 1857–1864.The land was part of what was once a vast estate, including the Casa de la Bola (now a cultural center), that once belonged to Mariana Gomez de la Cortina, the second Countess of Cortina. After her death on January 6, 1846, the land was subdivided, and part became property of the Lira Mora family, textile moguls, during the first part of the twentieth century. The gardens were adorned with a palace, bridges, water mirrors, a pergola and bronze fountains as well as a neoclassical grand archway at the entrance. During the Lázaro Cárdenas del Río government the land was expropriated and an asylum was established here for children with mental illnesses; which functioned until the offices of the Miguel Hidalgo borough were established adjacent to what is now the park.The park is located on the eponymous avenue and nearby is an eponymous Metrobús (BRT) stop.

The Centro Cultural Bella Epoca is a cultural 3,000 square meter cultural centre in the Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City. It includes the Rosario Castellanos bookshop (claimed to be the largest bookshop in Latin America) which carries over 35 thousand different titles, and has a children’s area, a coffee shop, and reading facilities. The Cine Lido art cinema and Galería Luis Cardoza y Aragón art gallery are also housed in the cultural center.

Miguel Hidalgo is a borough (demarcación territorial) in the Mexico City. It was created in 1970 when central Mexico City was divided into four boroughs. Miguel Hidalgo joined the historic areas of Tacuba, Chapultepec and Tacubaya along with a number of notable neighborhoods such as Polanco and Lomas de Chapultepec. With landmarks such as Chapultepec Park and the Museo Nacional de Antropología, it is the second most visited borough in Mexico City after Cuauhtémoc where the historic center of Mexico City is located. Tacubaya and Tacuba both have long histories as independent settlements and were designated as “Barrios Mágicos” by the city for tourism purposes.

The 10th federal electoral district of Mexico City (Spanish: Distrito electoral federal 10 de la Ciudad de México; previously "of the Federal District") is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 22 such districts in Mexico City. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the fourth region. The current member for the district, re-elected in the 2024 general election, is Margarita Zavala of the National Action Party (PAN).

The World Trade Center Mexico City, also still commonly called by its former name, Hotel de México, is a building complex located in the wealthy neighborhood of Colonia Nápoles in central Mexico City, Mexico. Its most famous and recognizable feature is the 50-story, 207 m (670 ft) high Torre WTC, the biggest building in the constructed area. It is the third tallest building in Mexico City when including its antenna and the fourth largest when measured by its 191m (587ft) roof height. When talking about the World Trade Center México, one usually is referring to the uniquely shaped tower. The complex also includes a convention center, cultural center, parking facilities, a multi-screen cinema, a revolving 45th-floor luxury restaurant, and a shopping center with Sears (originally opened as a JCPenney, the first location outside the USA) as an anchor tenant. It will also include a 22-floor hotel, which is currently under construction. Located on Avenida de los Insurgentes, the complex is served by the Polyforum station of the Metrobús Bus rapid transit system, located a few meters away. The station is named after the Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros, a part of the WTC complex.

The Hotel de México was to have been the largest hotel in the Americas, a huge project started by the entrepreneur Manuel Suárez y Suárez in 1966 in Mexico City, Mexico. The project ran out of control and was never completed. After Suárez died in 1987 it stood unfinished for several years before being converted into an office building named the World Trade Center.

Kurimanzutto is an art gallery located in Mexico City and New York City specializing in contemporary art that represents 33 international artists. It was founded in 1999 by Mónica Manzutto and José Kuri as a gallery without a fixed space. In 2006 it occupied a warehouse in the Colonia Condesa which served as a project space and workshop. In 2008 it opened its main gallery space in Mexico City in the San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhood and in 2018 it opened a project space in New York City.
