Beaumont is a municipality of about 2,900 people 10 km east of Lévis, next to the Saint Lawrence River, in the Bellechasse Regional County Municipality in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec. It is a mostly rural community, with most people working in Lévis as there are no major businesses in Beaumont. It was chosen as one of the top 20 nicest villages in the province of Quebec. It is crossed by Route 132, with many of its shops and commodities built alongside it. A few small streets are attached to the road, but the rest of the municipality is divided using the seigneurial system. The many open fields in Beaumont stretch all the way to the Saint Lawrence river, giving the visitors a large panorama.

La Grande Plée Bleue is a peat bog located in Lévis in the administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches, in Quebec, in Canada. With an area of 15 km2 (5.8 sq mi), it is one of the largest wetlands in all of eastern Quebec.

La Durantaye is a parish municipality in the Bellechasse Regional County Municipality in the Chaudière-Appalaches administrative region of Quebec. The municipality had a population of 722 in the Canada 2011 Census.

Saint-Laurent-de-l'Île-d'Orléans (pronounced [sɛ̃ lɔʁɑ̃ də lil dɔʁleɑ̃]) is a municipality in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada, part of the L'Île-d'Orléans Regional County Municipality. It is situated on the south side of Orléans Island. Prior to June 6, 1998 it was known simply as Saint-Laurent. Saint-Laurent has been twinned with Tourouvre in France since 1982.

Saint-Henri is a municipality of 5,611 people, 20 km south of Lévis, in the Bellechasse Regional County Municipality. It is sometimes known as Saint-Henri-de-Lévis, and was historically known as Saint-Henri-de-Lauzon. It used to belong to the former Desjardins Regional County Municipality, but decided to join Bellechasse in 2000 when the new city of Lévis was created. Saint-Henri felt it did not belong with a mostly urban RCM, and would fit better with Bellechasse, which has a largely rural base. Now, Saint-Henri is the biggest town in this RCM, followed by Saint-Anselme and Sainte-Claire. The Etchemin River crosses the municipality and one hydroelectric dam is found in Saint-Henri. On November 6, 1775, Benedict Arnold is said to have visited the village on his way to attack Quebec City. The largest local business is Olymel, a meat processing factory.

The Boyer River (Rivière Boyer in French) is a tributary of Chenal des Grands Voiliers, on the south shore of Saint Lawrence River. This small river of about 40 kilometres (25 mi) in length flows in the municipalities of Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse and Saint-Vallier, in the Bellechasse Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches, in Quebec, in Canada.The lower part of this valley is served by the route 132 which runs along the southeast bank of the St. Lawrence River, and also by the road of the second range West (which becomes Rang Nord-Est and Avenue Royale, further south), Chemin du 3e rang Ouest (which becomes Chemin du rang Sud-Est, further south). Apart from a few forest areas crossed by the river, agriculture is the main economic activity in this valley. Île d'Orléans (French pronunciation: [il d‿ɔʁleɑ̃]; English: Island of Orleans) is an island located in the Saint Lawrence River about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) east of downtown Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. It was one of the first parts of the province to be colonized by the French, and a large percentage of French Canadians can trace ancestry to early residents of the island. The island has been described as the "microcosm of traditional Quebec and as the birthplace of francophones in North America."It has about 7,000 inhabitants, spread over 6 villages. The island is accessible from the mainland via the Île d'Orléans Bridge from Beauport. Route 368 is the sole provincial route on the island, which crosses the bridge and circles the perimeter of the island. At the village of Sainte-Pétronille toward the western end of the island, a viewpoint overlooks the impressive Chute Montmorency (Montmorency Falls), as well as a panorama of the St. Lawrence River and Quebec City.

L'Île-d'Orléans is a regional county municipality in central Quebec, Canada, in the Capitale-Nationale region. Its seat is Sainte-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans. The population in the 2016 census was 7,082 people.The RCM consists solely of the Île d'Orléans, an island in the Saint Lawrence River just east of Quebec City. It is the smallest RCM in Quebec in terms of land area (though not in total area including water).
