Alterlaa station

Alterlaa (Austrian German pronunciation: [altˈɛʁlaː]) is a residential development in Vienna, Austria, designed by Harry Glück. Built from 1975 to 1986, it features distinctive set-backs on its lower floors and large terraces with planting troughs for use by residents. It houses around 9,000 people in 3,200 apartments.

Erlaaer Straße is a station on U6 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located in the Liesing District. It opened on 15 April 1995 as part of the section between Philadelphiabrücke and Siebenhirten. In the architecture of all new stations of the U6 south branch, a new forming technology of aluminum trapezoidal sheeting was used, which allowed the construction of differently shaped arches. Particularly striking are the elevator towers rounded at the top, designed by Johann Georg Gsteu.

It is located just southwest of the central districts, south of the River Wien, west of the Gürtel belt, and east and southeast of Schönbrunn Palace. Meidling is a heavily populated urban area with many residential buildings, but also large recreational areas and parks. In sports, it is represented by the FC Dynamo Meidling. Former Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz was born and raised in Meidling and his private residence is there.

The Lainz Tunnel (German: Lainzer Tunnel) is a 12.8-kilometre-long, double-track railway tunnel in Vienna. It forms one part of a wider tunnel network that includes the neighbouring Wienerwald Tunnel, it connects Austria's Western, Southern, Eastern and Donauländebahn railways and greatly simplifies international and national connectivity in Vienna. The Lainz Tunnel has been in service since 9 December 2012. The Lainz Tunnel was constructed during the 2000s and early 2010s as part of a major expansion of Austria's most important rail corridor, it was intentionally built as a measure to minimise gradients and facilitate high speed traffic, as well as for better accessibility to the newly constructed Wien Hauptbahnhof central station in Vienna. It is divided into two distinct sections, comprising a single bore accommodating a pair of tracks and two parallel bores each carrying a single track; it also meets up with several other neighbouring tunnels, including the Wienerwald Tunnel.

Atzgersdorf (German pronunciation: [ˈat͡sɡɐsˌdɔʁf] (listen); Central Bavarian: Atzgasduaf) is a former municipality in Lower Austria that is now a part of the 23rd Viennese district Liesing. A small part of the former municipality today is part of the 12th Viennese district Meidling. Today, the cadastral commune Atzgersdorf has an area of 411,42 hectares. The part that belongs to Meidling has an area of 35 hectares.

Siebenhirten (German pronunciation: [ˌziːbm̩ˈhɪʁtn̩] (listen)) is a station on U6 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located in the Liesing District. It opened on 15 April 1995 as the souther terminus of the extension of the line from Philadelphiabrücke.

Inzersdorf (German pronunciation: [ˈɪnt͡sɐsˌdɔʁf] (listen); before 1893 Inzersdorf am Wienerberge, 1893 - 1938 Inzersdorf bei Wien; Central Bavarian: Inzasduaf) was before 1938 an independent municipality, and is now a part of the 23rd Viennese district Liesing. Today, the cadastral commune Inzersdorf has got an area of 854.06 hectares (3.2975 sq mi) and is so on the biggest part of the district. But in the 19th century, independent Inzersdorf had also got place in the today 10th Viennese district, and bordered on the villages Vösendorf, Leopoldsdorf, Ober‑ and Unterlaa, and (in the west) on Erlaa.
