The Dr. Percy and Lileah Harris House is a historic building located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.

The Monroe Elementary School Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. At the time of its nomination it consisted of 10 resources, which included one contributing building, one contributing site, three contributing objects, two non-contributing buildings, and three non-contributing objects. The school building was completed in 1961 in a neighborhood of small ranch-style houses from the same era. Designed by the Cedar Rapids architectural firm of Brown & Healey, it was one of seven schools built as a result of a bond referendum in 1959. It was necessitated by a roughly 70% increase in enrollment between 1950 and 1960. The single story, brick building features long and wide corridors, low ceiling heights, extensive use of glazing, exposed trusses, and deep overhangs. The building retains historical integrity, while the other school buildings built at this time in Cedar Rapids do not. Two basketball hoops and a fire engine-shaped piece of playground equipment are the contributing objects. The non-contributing buildings are two temporary classrooms, three pieces of playground equipment are the non-contributing objects. It ceased being a school building in 2011.

The Robert and Esther Armstrong House, also known as Pleasant Hill, is a historic building located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. This is the last of two documented houses that regionalist artist Grant Wood designed in its entirety in the city. There are 14 documented houses that he designed, at least in part, between 1925 and 1933. He took on the work to help support himself and his mother. Like his artwork, his house designs evolved from more classical styles to the more simpler lines of vernacular forms. In addition, he used local materials to construct the house, including the exterior limestone quarried at Stone City for this house. In addition, Esther Armstrong, local builder Bruce McKay and Wood scoured the countryside looking for design ideas. They settled on two Pennsylvania-style fieldstone structures, from which Wood designed this home. He also served as interior decorator as well. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Cedar Valley Christian School (CVCS) is a private Christian school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It enrolls approximately 250 students and consists of grades Pre-kindergarten through Twelfth grade. The school is co-located with Cedar Valley Bible Church on Cottage Grove Ave just east of Indian Creek. CVCS states that their purpose is to assist parents with their biblical responsibility to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. It is the school's goal to provide academic excellence where fundamental subjects are taught from a biblical viewpoint.

Washington High School (officially George Washington High School) is a public high school in Cedar Rapids, in the U.S. state of Iowa. Built in 1956, it is named in honor of the oldest high school in Cedar Rapids.

The Douglas and Charlotte Grant House is a historic building located in Marion, Iowa, United States. Located on 40 acres (16 ha) of land, this Frank Lloyd Wright designed Usonian-style dwelling was constructed from 1949 to 1951, with some construction continuing to about 1960. This is one of the first houses in Iowa built in this style, having been completed a year after the Lowell E. Walter House located near Quasqueton. The two houses are very similar in style. The characteristics that mark this as a Wright-designed house include: the house integrated into the site and opened to the outdoors; the use of window walls and horizontal bands of windows; natural lighting and ventilation; use of natural materials; a horizontal emphasis in mass and proportion; a car port in place of a garage; slab-on-grade construction with radiant heat system embedded in the slab; a flat roof; an open-plan interior; varied ceiling heights on the interior; built-in furniture; and a large scale fireplace with a central hearth. The limestone for the house was quarried on the property. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
