Zagrebtower is a building in Zagreb, Croatia, located in the neighborhood of Sigečica, on the Radnička Road. It was completed in late 2006. It is an elliptical, 22-story, 84-meter (276 ft) office tower with adjacent 8-story office building which includes an underground parking garage. The complex includes a total of 26,000 m2 (280,000 sq ft) of office space.

Slavonska Avenue (Croatian: Slavonska avenija) is a limited-access avenue in Zagreb, Croatia. It is the longest street in Zagreb, being 18 km (11 mi) long. It mostly has a 70 km/h (43 mph) speed limit, although the speed is limited to 100 km/h (62 mph) on a short section near the Ivanja Reka interchange with the Zagreb bypass. In 2007 the avenue was proclaimed to be the most accident-prone road in Zagreb. The avenue is an important east-west arterial road. Starting at the interchange with Savska Road, it intersects, featuring mainly two and three-level interchanges, several other main Zagreb thoroughfares (sorted eastbound): Croatian Fraternal Union Avenue, Marin Držić Avenue, Vjekoslav Heinzel Avenue, Gospić Road, Ljudevit Posavski Road. Slavonska Avenue does not have any tram lines, although most lines in Zagreb pass over or under the avenue.

Chromos Tower is a 60-meter (200 ft) office tower in Zagreb, Croatia. The tower was constructed in 1989 and was originally the main headquarters of the Chromos Corporation after which it was named. It is located in Kanal neighborhood, on the corner of the Vukovar Street and Vjekoslav Heinzel street. It is last skyscraper built in Zagreb before the Croatian War of Independence (1991-1995).

Ferenščica is a neighbourhood in the southeast of Zagreb, Croatia, within the Peščenica – Žitnjak district. The area of the local city council of Ferenščica has a population of 5,774 (census 2021). The area is part of the new Peščenica settlement that started to be built in the second part of the 20th century.

Donje Svetice (lit. 'Lower Svetice') is a neighbourhood in the southeast of Zagreb, Croatia, within the Peščenica – Žitnjak district. The area of the local city council of Donje Svetice has a population of 3,022 (census 2021). The area is part of the new Peščenica settlement that started to be built in 1932, but grew particularly after World War II. The area's central north-west thoroughfare is the eponymous Donje Svetice, continuing on the Svetice Street from Stara Peščenica in the north. The two streets are separated by an underpass under the M102 railway, connecting to the City of Vukovar Street in the south. The main east-west street through the neighbourhood is the Planinska Street. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb campus is located in the western part of the neighbourhood, by the Vjekoslav Heinzel Avenue, where it was first built in 1940. The NK HAŠK stadium grounds are located in the southeastern part. The Ministry of Science and Education building is located in central Donje Svetice since 2008.

The Ministry of Science and Education of Croatia (Croatian: Ministarstvo znanosti i obrazovanja or MZO) is the ministry in the Government of Croatia which is in charge of primary, secondary and tertiary education, research institutions and sports. However, the fact that both education and sports are governed by one single body had drawn criticism from long time Croatian educators, which have the view of having the Ministry focusing on education alone.

Kanal is a neighborhood in the city district of Trnje in Zagreb, Croatia. It is located northeast of the intersection of Vukovarska Avenue and Marin Držić Avenue and south of Radnička Road. The population is 1,411 (2011).

Zapruđe is a neighbourhood in Zagreb, in the Novi Zagreb East District just south of Sava River near the Youth Bridge. The Zapruđe local committee had a population of 6,184 at the 2011 census.As of 2012, the district consists mostly of residential high-rises, but it also has several chain stores, a butcher, a post office, a bank, a school, a kindergarten, a library, a community hall, a health center, and a pharmacy.It has its own festivals and traditions, such as the Zapruđe Festival, and a soccer team, NK Zapruđe. Sigečica is a neighbourhood in the southeast of Zagreb, Croatia, within the Trnje district. The area of the local city council of Sigečica has a population of 6,077 (census 2021). The name Sigečica comes from old river islands in the Sava river valley, and city planners decided to name a lot of the neighbourhood streets after Adriatic islands. Sigečica became urbanized and integrated into the city in the late 1920s.

Volovčica is a neighbourhood in the southeast of Zagreb, Croatia, within the Peščenica – Žitnjak district. The area of the local city council of Volovčica has a population of 5,275 (census 2021). The area is part of the new Peščenica settlement that started to be built in 1932.

Marin Držić Avenue (Croatian: Avenija Marina Držića) is an important north–south avenue in the central-eastern part of Zagreb, Croatia. It is named after Marin Držić, a famous Croatian poet from the 16th century. It starts at the Petar Krešimir IV Square where it continues south from Šubićeva Street. It intersects with the Branimir Avenue, Vukovar Avenue, Slavonska Avenue (combination interchange), Milka Trnina Street, Sajmišna Road (parclo interchange) and ends at Dubrovnik Avenue (roundabout interchange), continuing south as Sarajevska Road. The avenue carries ZET tram tracks in the median through the entire route. Zagreb's main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor Zagreb) is also located on the avenue. It passes through city districts Trnje and Novi Zagreb - istok, at parts serving as a border between Trnje and Peščenica - Žitnjak.
