Selva de Mar is a Barcelona Metro and Trambesòs station located in Poblenou, Sant Martí district, Barcelona. It's located under carrer de Pujades, between carrer de Provençals and carrer de Selva de Mar, the latter being where the only entrance to the station is. The metro station, served by L4, was opened in 1977 as part of the elongation of the line from Barceloneta. The tramway station is a 2004 addition, opened that year along with other stations in the T4 route.

It was opened in 1977 along with the lines from Barceloneta to Selva de Mar. The platforms are 93m long.

Diagonal Mar i el Front Marítim del Poblenou is a neighborhood in the Sant Martí district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The area between the seafront, Sant Adrià de Besòs and the Besòs river was previously made up of slums and poor areas surrounding the neighbourhoods of La Mina, El Maresme and Poblenou. Under the new name Diagonal Mar, in reference to its proximity to the sea and Avinguda Diagonal, renovation started taking place in the late 1990s. Still ongoing, this has been one of the most ambitions urban regeneration schemes, and also one of the most controversial and a perceived departure from Barcelona's well-established urban model. The real estate company Hines was in charge of most relevant decisions about urbanism in the area, although it was ESPAIS Promocions Immobiliaries, a local real estate developer, who developed the majority of the residential towers, including Illa de la Llum, Illa del Bosc, Illa del Cell and Illa del Mar. This has been criticised by renowned local architects such as Oriol Bohigas, Juli Capellas or Josep Maria Montaner or urbanism scholar Llàtzer Moix. Most renovation in the area was ready in time for the 2004 Cultural Forum, which took place in the International Convention Centre of Barcelona (CCIB). It includes Catalunya's largest shopping center Centre Comercial Diagonal Mar, as well as Parc de Diagonal Mar, designed by Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue.

The Biblioteca Gabriel García Márquez is a public library located in Sant Martí de Provençals, a neighborhood of Barcelona. It was inaugurated on 28 May 2022. It specializes in Latin American literature and is named after the Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez, who lived in the Catalan capital between 1967 and 1975, where he wrote The Autumn of the Patriarch (El otoño del patriarca).

Can Framis is the latest Fundació Vila Casas museum, an art center in Barcelona devoted to the promotion of contemporary Catalan painting. Located in the old Can Framis factory complex, the museum displays more than 250 paintings from the sixties to the present made by artists born or currently living in Catalonia. In addition to the permanent collection which is divided in three floors, Can Framis Museum has an area dedicated to temporary exhibitions named Espai Aø. The permanent collection is updated periodically, and two new temporary exhibitions are opened every three months. The museum has an education program that offers activities designed for pre-school to secondary school, as well as for people with special educational needs. They also offer guided visits. The museum is open to the public Tuesday to Saturday from 11.00–18.00 and on Sundays from 11:00–14:00 h.
