The Lusíada University - North (former Universidade Lusíada do Porto) is a Portuguese private university located in Porto and founded in 1991.

Pedrouços is a Portuguese parish located in the municipality of Maia. The population in 2011 was 12,149, in an area of 2.57 km².The place of Pedrouços was the most important and populous of the Águas Santas parish. As an autonomous religious parish it has been in existence since 1928, but the civil parish status (Freguesia) was only given to it in 1985.

The Estádio das Antas (officially Estádio do Futebol Clube do Porto) was the third (and longest occupied) stadium of the Portuguese football side FC Porto. It was in use from 1952 to 2004, replacing the earlier Campo da Constituição, 1.6km (1 mile) to the west, and later replaced by the Estádio do Dragão, a block southeast away. As well as the stadium, it had an indoor arena and three training grounds. The club's offices were also split between the inside of the stadium and the Torre das Antas, built in front of the stadium during the 1990s. It was demolished in 2004, although one floodlight still remains, and the majority of the site is not yet redeveloped.

The Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC) is a research & development institute located on the campus of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (Portugal). INESC TEC is a private non-profit association, recognised as a Public Interest Institution and has been an Associate Laboratory since 2002. The purpose of INESC TEC is to act as an interface between the academic world, the world of industry and services and the public administration in Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Electronics (ITT&E). The Dragão Arena (formerly named Dragão Caixa for sponsorship reasons) is an indoor arena located in Porto, Portugal, that houses the basketball, handball and roller hockey teams of FC Porto. It was inaugurated on 23 April 2009 and has a capacity of 2,179 spectators. The construction project was done in partnership with Portuguese state-owned bank Caixa Geral de Depósitos, which secured the naming rights for a period of 10 years.The arena was designed by Manuel Salgado, the architect of the Estádio do Dragão. It was projected to house the club's basketball, handball and roller hockey teams under the same roof for the first time since 2001, when the previous ground – Pavilhão Americo de Sá – was demolished ahead of the stadium construction works.

The Estádio do Dragão (Portuguese pronunciation: [(ɨ)ˈʃtaðju ðu ðɾɐˈɣɐ̃w]; English: Dragon Stadium) is an all-seater football stadium in Porto, Portugal, and the home ground of FC Porto since 2003. It has a seating capacity of 50,033, making it the third largest football stadium in Portugal. Designed by Portuguese architect Manuel Salgado, the stadium was constructed to replace Porto's former ground, the Estádio das Antas, along with becoming one of the host venues for the UEFA Euro 2004 final tournament. The inauguration took place on 16 November 2003 with a friendly match against Barcelona, setting an attendance record of 52,000 spectators.A UEFA category four stadium, it has held several international club and national team competition matches, including the 2019 UEFA Nations League Final and 2021 UEFA Champions League Final.

Visiting only by booking, the Casa Museu Fernando de Castro (Fernando de Castro's House Museum) is a historical house, located in the city of Porto, Portugal, that belonged to Fernando de Castro, a Portuguese poet, caricaturist, merchant and collector. It contains several paintings from the 17th to the 20th century, sculptures and ceramic pieces. The museum is now under administration of the Soares dos Reis National Museum.

Estádio Engenheiro Vidal Pinheiro was a multi-use stadium in Porto, Portugal. It was used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium of S.C. Salgueiros. The stadium was able to hold 11,000 people. It was demolished in 2006 to make way to a subway station for Metro do Porto.

Campanhã (Portuguese pronunciation: [kɐ̃pɐˈɲɐ̃]) is a Portuguese freguesia ("civil parish"), located in the city of Porto. The population in 2011 was 32,659, in an area of 8.04 km². Located there is the Campanhã station, the most important in Porto.

Rio Tinto (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈʁiu ˈtĩtu]) is a Portuguese city and parish, located in Gondomar Municipality, in northern Portugal. The population in 2011 was 50,713, in an area of 9.38 km². Rio Tinto, which in Portuguese means red river, was elevated to city status in 1995, and the city of Rio Tinto includes two parishes (freguesias): Baguim do Monte and Rio Tinto, with a total of 65,000 inhabitants, being the most populous city in Gondomar municipality, and third largest in the Greater Porto agglomeration. Rio Tinto lies just outside the city of Porto.

IPO is a station on Line D (yellow line) of the Porto Metro, Portugal. The station is at the northern end of the University of Porto campus and is named after the nearby Instituto Português de Oncologia (Portuguese Oncology Institute). Although Line D opened in 2005, the IPO and Hospital de São João stations did not open until March 2006. The Escola Superior de Enfermagem, a nursing school, objected to the new line because of safety concerns from the trains running near the entrance of the school. The sidewalk was set back and a traffic light was placed at the intersection to reduce the risk of accidents between trains and cars. The opening extended Line D to Hospital de São João station. Before this time the line terminated at the preceding Pólo Universitário station. The line operates as a ground-level tram at this station.
