Yale Bridge

Chelatchie is an unincorporated community in Clark County, Washington. Chelatchie is located about 30 miles northeast of Vancouver, Washington in the Chelatchie Prairie (or Chelatchie Valley) area, and consists of several homes, a general store, and a United States Forest Service visitor's center for the Mount St. Helens Volcanic National Monument. It is one of the more remote communities on Washington State Route 503, and serves as a gateway into the Siouxon Creek area of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

Yale is an unincorporated community in Cowlitz County, Washington, northeast of the city of Woodland. Yale is located 22.4 miles (36.0 km) northeast of Woodland along Washington State Route 503 and situated between Yale Lake and Lake Merwin, both reservoirs on the Lewis River. The rock-fill hydro-electric Yale Dam is nearby. Named for Yale University, the only school teaching forestry in the 19th century, the Yale community is part of the Woodland School District, a K-12 school district of about 2,200 students. Yale is second nearest community, after Cougar, to Mount St. Helens, which lies 16.2 miles (26.1 km) to its northeast. The eruption of Mount St. Helens on May 18, 1980 was the deadliest and most economically destructive volcanic event in the history of the United States. For many years climbers attempting to scale Mount St. Helens registered at Jack's Store until it burned down in December 2007. Yale has several view locations for Mount St. Helens.

Yale Lake is a 3,780 acre reservoir on the Lewis River in the U.S. state of Washington. It lies on the border between Clark County and Cowlitz County. It was created in 1953 with the construction of Yale Dam.

Yale Dam is a 323-foot high earth-type hydroelectric dam on the Lewis River, in the U.S. state of Washington, owned by PacifiCorp. It is located on the border between Cowlitz County and Clark County. Its reservoir is called Yale Lake. The dam's power plant capacity is 134 megawatts.In January 2020, PacifiCorp, the dam owner, lowered the reservoir level 10 feet below normal operating level in order to reduce the probability of an accidental release due to an earthquake.

Tumtum Mountain is a small, highly-symmetrical volcanic cone in Washington, United States. Located in northern Clark County at the easternmost end of Chelatchie Prairie, it rises to an elevation of 2,004 feet (611 m), about 1,400 feet (430 m) above the flat prairie. This Pleistocene dacite lava dome is part of the Cascade Volcanic Arc, and with an age of only about 70,000 years, Tumtum Mountain is the youngest and westernmost volcano in the Cascades of Washington state.

Yale Park is a public waterfront park located on the shores of Yale Lake in Washington, United States. Besides a great view of Mount St. Helens, Yale Park provides 30 picnic sites, parking for 130 cars and 80 trailers, a boat ramp with four lanes and a swimming beach.

Lake Merwin is a reservoir on the Lewis River in the U.S. state of Washington. It lies on the border between Clark County and Cowlitz County. It was created in 1931 with the construction of Merwin Dam.

Cougar is an unincorporated community and former town in Cowlitz County, Washington. Cougar is located around 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Woodland along Washington State Route 503 and situated along the northwest bank of Yale Lake, a reservoir on the Lewis River. The population of Cougar was 122 at the 1990 Census, when it was still incorporated as a town, but disincorporated before the 2000 Census. As of 2023, the population is 83. The Cougar community is part of the Woodland School District, a K-12 school district of about 2,200 students. Cougar is the nearest community to Mount St. Helens, which lies 13 miles (20.9215 km) to its northeast. The eruption of Mount St. Helens on May 18, 1980 was the deadliest and most economically destructive volcanic event in the history of the United States. A post office called Cougar was established in 1902. The community was named after the cougar which were abundant in the area at that time.

Moulton Falls Regional Park is a Clark County recreational park in Yacolt, Washington, United States. The location is notable for its bridge and is a popular trailing, and swimming destination. Th flow is 60 deep from the East Fork Lewis River. It is also a historical location known for preservation by the state, and the bridge has existed since the late 1970s. It officially became recognized as a state park in 2023.

The district is located within Clark County, bordering the 20th district in the north, the 14th district in the east, and the 49th and 17th districts in the southwest. The 18th district includes six of the seven incorporated cities in Clark County, including Ridgefield in the west, Battle Ground in the center, Camas and Washougal in the south, Vancouver in the southwest, and La Center and Yacolt in the north. Additionally, the district represents the residents of unincorporated Clark County localities Salmon Creek, Brush Prairie and Hazel Dell.This combination rural and suburban district is represented by state representatives Stephanie McClintock (position 1) and Greg Cheney (position 2), as well as state senator Ann Rivers; all are Republicans.

Fargher Lake is an unincorporated community in Clark County, Washington, United States. It is Located around 7 mi (11 km) northwest from the Town of Yacolt. The settlement, as well as a former lake located nearby, both share the name "Fargher Lake".

Heisson is an unincorporated community in Clark County, Washington. Heisson lies just north of Battle Ground Lake State Park, south of the East Fork Lewis River, and northeast of Battle Ground, Washington. It consists of a combined general store and post office, along with several houses. Among these houses is the Henry Heisen House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places listings in Clark County, Washington. The post office is located adjacent to a crossing for the historic Chelatchie Prairie Railroad.
