Ovington Square is a garden square in central London's Knightsbridge district. It lies between Brompton Road to the north-west (reached via Ovington Gardens) and Walton Street to the south-east.

St Columba's Church is one of the two London congregations of the Church of Scotland. The church building, designed by Sir Edward Maufe, is located in Pont Street, Knightsbridge, near Harrod's department store. It was given Grade II listing by English Heritage in 1988.

Beauchamp Place (pronounced "Beecham Place") is a fashionable shopping street in the Knightsbridge district of London. It was known as Grove Place until 1885. It was once better known for its brothels and lodging houses, but since the Edwardian era, antique shops and high end fashion boutiques have dominated the street.Beauchamp Place was also a 16th-century mansion of the Seymour family, whose titles included Viscount Beauchamp. It belonged to Edward Seymour, Viscount Beauchamp, who became the Earl of Hertford and was the son of a Lord Protector of England.

Hellenic College of London was a bilingual school in Knightsbridge, London. It was founded in 1980 by former King Constantine II and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece, and closed in 2005.It started as a boarding school, but it later also functioned as a day school. The second headmaster was James Wardrobe. The school was for Greek pupils or pupils with Greek origins. By 1996, it had 280 pupils, but after that it declined, finally having only 80 in 2005. Hellenic College's governors included Constantine, Anne-Marie, their son Nikolaos (an ex-pupil), and Michael Chandris.

The Challoner Club was the only London gentlemen's club that restricted membership to practising Catholics. It was founded in 1949 and closed around 1997.It was based at 59 Pont Street in Knightsbridge, and hosted the library of the Irish Genealogical Research Society.

Brompton Road is a street located in the southern part from Knightsbridge and in the eastern part from Brompton in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and partly the City of Westminster in London.It starts from Knightsbridge Underground station and runs south-west through an extremely wealthy residential area until it reaches Egerton Gardens and the area to the east of South Kensington Underground station. It ends at what is popularly known as Brompton Cross, becoming Fulham Road, home of Chelsea Football Club. There are 5-star hotels and many top restaurants and shops along the road. One of the most famous department stores in the world, Harrods, is located near the eastern end. Another major landmark along the road is the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, commonly known as the Brompton Oratory. The Embassy of Uruguay is located at no. 150.Brompton Road Underground station was halfway between Knightsbridge and South Kensington stations on the Piccadilly line, just east of the Brompton Oratory. It closed on 30 July 1934 due to a lack of traffic and following the opening of new entrances at Knightsbridge station. Brompton Road is sometimes confused with Old Brompton Road which lies further to the west in South Kensington. In the 1980s, a bomb unexpectedly went off just outside of Harrod's. A police man and some shoppers were killed. The IRA claimed responsibility, and that the bombing was unintended.

Lennox Gardens is a garden square in the Knightsbridge district of London SW1X. It is one of the most exclusive garden squares in Knightsbridge, and houses on the square are valued at up to £40 million. The houses surrounding the gardens were built around 1886 as part of the development of Smith's Charity Estate.Nos 1, 3 and 5, and 2, 4 and 6, at the northern end of Lennox Gardens on opposite sides of the junction with Walton Street are listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England as is No 8 opposite the rear of St Columba's Church. The east side of the church faces the entrance to Lennox Gardens from Pont Street. 17–43 Lennox Gardens on the east side and of the gardens and No 52 (Lennox Lodge) at the left side of the entrance from Milner Street are also listed Grade II.The private communal gardens in the centre of Lennox Gardens are 0.4610 hectares (1.139 acres) in size. The gardens are laid out on the pitch of the late 19th-century Prince's Club's former Prince's Cricket Ground, which itself had been laid out on Cattleugh's nursery gardens. John Dunbar and his wife Marianne Faithfull lived in a flat in Lennox Gardens in the late 1960s, as did the American writer Anne Edwards and her husband Leon. James Gilbey, a scion of the Gilbey gin family, owned an apartment in Lennox Gardens and it was here that he would meet Diana, Princess of Wales during their romance from the summer of 1989. Their relationship was later captured in the Squidgygate tapes.Section 2 of the American poet Charles Wright's 1983 poem A Journal of English Days is set during a rainy afternoon in Lennox Gardens where the narrator imagines the Greek ferryman of the underworld, Charon crossing the River Thames in the rain. Section 4 of the poem depicts a walk around the area immediately surrounding Lennox Gardens.Lord Wakehurst and his family lived in a house in Lennox Gardens in the 1950s, his son, the future businessman and art collector Robert Loder let his friend Jonathan Gathorne-Hardy stay in a flat on the top floor of their property. Gathorne-Hardy recalled living in Lennox Gardens in his 2004 memoir, Half an Arch.George Devey's design for a house for Samuel Juler Wyand at 25 Lennox Gardens is in the collection of the British Architectural Library.The average price of a property in Lennox Gardens was £2.2 million in 2018.

Brompton, sometimes called Old Brompton, survives in name as a ward in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London. Until the latter half of the 19th century it was a scattered village made up mostly of market gardens in the county of Middlesex. It lay south-east of the village of Kensington, abutting the parish of St Margaret's, Westminster at the hamlet of Knightsbridge to the north-east, with Little Chelsea to the south. It was bisected by the Fulham Turnpike, the main road westward out of London to the ancient parish of Fulham and on to Putney and Surrey. It saw its first parish church, Holy Trinity Brompton, only in 1829. Today the village has been comprehensively eclipsed by segmentation due principally to railway development culminating in London Underground lines, and its imposition of station names, including Knightsbridge, South Kensington and Gloucester Road as the names of stops during accelerated urbanisation, but lacking any cogent reference to local history and usage or distinctions from neighbouring settlements.Brompton has been home to many writers, actors and intellectuals. The Survey of London gives a long list. Its name survives formally to this day, only just, in the shared reference to two of the council's electoral wards called, "Brompton" and "Hans Town".

The Storran Gallery was a fashionable avant-garde art gallery in London in the 1930s. In 1937 it was run by the prominent art critic Eardley Knollys (a friend of Picasso) with Ala Story and the artist Frank Coombs (1906-1941). The gallery was at 106 Brompton Road London SW3 (just opposite Harrods) but moved to Fitzroy Street and then 316 Euston Road. An unusual exhibition at the gallery in 1938 was ‘‘The Jones Exhibition’’. The artists Graham Bell and Tom Harrisson curated an exhibition of London scenes by British painters. As a way of making it "democratic", they typed letters to invite over 800 London-based families with the widely held name Jones.Pictures exhibited at the Storran Gallery in the late 1930s included those by Picasso, Modigliani, Dufy, Anthony Devas, Claude Rogers, Victor Pasmore, Rupert Shephard, Graham Bell, Clare Crossley, William Coldstream, Ivon Hitchens, Jean Varda,Derek Sayer, Lynton Lamb, Joan Souter-Robinson, Ivy Langton, and Derek Latymer-Sayer. A number of these artists were members of the Euston Road School.

Walton Street is a street within central London's Chelsea district, bordering Knightsbridge. It runs south-west to north-east from Draycott Avenue to Walton Place, parallel to Brompton Road to the north. It is known for its boutiques and restaurants.On 18 November 1975, the Walton's Restaurant bombing took place, when an Irish Republican Army (IRA) unit nicknamed the Balcombe Street Gang threw a bomb into Walton's Restaurant without warning, killing two people and injuring almost two dozen.

Harrods Limited is a department store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London, England. It is currently owned by the state of Qatar via its sovereign wealth fund, the Qatar Investment Authority. The Harrods brand also applies to other enterprises undertaken by the Harrods group of companies, including Harrods Estates, Harrods Aviation and Air Harrods. The store occupies a 5-acre (2 ha) site and has 330 departments covering 1.1 million sq ft (100,000 m2) of retail space. It is one of the largest and most famous department stores in the world.The Harrods motto is Omnia Omnibus Ubique, which is Latin for "all things for all people, everywhere". Several of its departments, including the Seasonal Christmas department and the Food Halls, are well known. Harrods was also a founder of the International Association of Department Stores in 1928, which is still active today, and remained a member until 1935. Franck Chitham, Harrods' president at the time, was president of the Association in 1930.

Innocent Victims is a bronze statue of Diana, Princess of Wales, and Dodi Fayed, which was on display at the Harrods department store in London, England, between 2005 and 2018. It was commissioned by Dodi's father Mohamed Al-Fayed when he owned Harrods, and designed by William Mitchell.
