International House Hotel

Loft 523 is a boutique hotel located at 523 Gravier Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the New Orleans Central Business District. The building was erected in the 1880s as a carriage and dry-goods warehouse, and it was purchased and renovated by real-estate developer Sean Cummings. It features eighteen loft style guestrooms, three of which are penthouses.

Sheraton New Orleans is a 49-story, 490-foot (149 m) tall skyscraper that is located at 500 Canal Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The Sheraton is the 6th tallest building in New Orleans, and the hotel is part of Marriott International. The hotel was evacuated when Hurricane Katrina struck the city in 2005. There were 1,000 people in the hotel during the storm, and they were taken to the Sheraton Park Central in Dallas, TX. Only two of the 1,100 rooms in the hotel suffered damage, and most of the rooms were being occupied by contractors, medical professionals, and members of the press.

The Pan-American Life Building, located at 601 Poydras Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 28-story, 322 feet (98 m)-tall high-rise building. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, it was built in 1980 as the headquarters for the Pan-American Life Insurance Co. In December 2006, Pan-American sold the building to Equastone, a California real estate company. The Hotel Intercontinental, which adjoins the Pan-American Life Center and is owned by the insurance company, was not included in the sale to Equastone.In December 2010, Stirling 601 Poydras, LLC, an entity composed of local investors led by Stirling Properties, acquired the Pan-American Life Center in New Orleans, Louisiana from Equastone Real Estate Investment Advisors, a private real estate investment firm in San Diego, California.

The JW Marriott New Orleans is a 331 feet (101 m), modern 30-story high-rise hotel in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The 4-star, 501-room hotel currently stands as the 13th-tallest building in the city, and the 3rd-tallest hotel.

Hilton New Orleans/St. Charles Avenue, located at 333 St. Charles Avenue in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, is a 20-story, 246 feet (75 m)-tall skyscraper and part of the Hilton Hotels chain. The building was originally the Masonic Temple, but was sold in 1992 and redeveloped as Hotel Monaco until Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It did not reopen after Katrina. The hotel reopened in 2007 as a Hilton. Hilton New Orleans/St. Charles Avenue was also inducted into Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, in 2015.

Theatre de la Rue Saint Pierre or Le Spectacle de la Rue Saint Pierre, was the first (French-speaking) theatre in New Orleans in Louisiana, active in 1792-1810. It opened in 1792 and was known to the Spanish-speaking citizens as El Coliseo and to the French-speaking citizens, La Salle Comedie. It was described as a small building of native lumber near the center of the city. It was located on the uptown side of St. Peter Street between Royal and Bourbon Streets, in what is now called the French Quarter.

Banks' Arcade was a multi-use commercial structure in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. The building on the block bounded by Gravier Street, Tchoupitoulas Street, Natchez Street, and Magazine Street, in the district then known as Faubourg Sainte Marie, later known as the American sector and now called the Central Business District. The building's central axis, originally called Banks' Alley or the Arcade Passage, is now a walk street called Arcade Place within Picayune Place Historic District.

Place St. Charles (formerly the Bank One Center and First NBC Center), located at 201 St. Charles Avenue in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 53-story, 645-foot (197 m) skyscraper designed in the post-modern style by Moriyama & Teshima Architects with The Mathes Group, now Mathes Brierre Architects, as local architect. It is the second-tallest building in both the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana, and it is taller than Louisiana's tallest peak, Driskill Mountain. The building is located on the site of the historic St. Charles Hotel. The first St. Charles Hotel was built in 1837 and burned down in 1851. The second St. Charles Hotel was built in 1853 and burned down in 1894. The third St. Charles Hotel was built in 1896 and demolished in 1974. Floors 1 & 2 are used for retail space, 3 to 13 are parking levels, and 14 to 52 hold office space. St. Charles Place, LLC, is the current owner, while Corporate Realty leases the property. The building now also serves as the headquarters of the retail banking division of Capital One. The largest tenants are Capital One, JPMorgan Chase, Jones Walker LLP, and Energy Partners. Place St. Charles opened in 1984. The exterior of the building is clad in granite and glass. A unique design aspect of the building are the French Quarter inspired balconies on the lower 3 levels along St. Charles Ave. Inside Place St. Charles, the first two floors house 58,000 square feet (5,388 m2) of retail space, including two restaurants, a hair salon, a 10-station Food Court and a Chase branch location. The 11 levels of parking are accessed from Gravier Street. Additionally, there is an elevated walkway connecting the building to an adjoining Hampton Inn. The building was the least damaged major high rise in the city during Hurricane Katrina in August 2005 and reopened by mid October 2005.

The Pickwick Club is a private gentlemen's club in New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 1857, The Pickwick Club and the Mistick Krewe were originally one group comprising two organizations. After The Boston Club, The Pickwick Club is the second oldest remaining in the city.

National American Bank Building is a 23-story 325 feet (99 m)-tall skyscraper in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, It was completed in 1929 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It is topped with a distinctive 6-story octagonal tower with a golden Art Deco finial. Its address is 200 Carondelet Street. Originally a commercial building, it was renovated for use as a residential building after Hurricane Katrina.

The Trump International Hotel and Tower was a proposed residential tower located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. It was a project of real estate mogul Donald Trump's Trump Organization. Supposedly in the planning stages from summer 2005 on, the project was finally declared dead in July 2011 after the location land was foreclosed on and sold at auction. If constructed, the Trump Tower would have become the tallest building in the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana, at seventy stories. At a height of 716 feet (218 m) along with a 126-foot (38 m) spire, it would also be the tallest building along the Gulf Coast outside of Houston, as well as the tallest point in the state of Louisiana. (Louisiana's highest peak is Driskill Mountain, at 535 feet.) It was planned to be a multi-use building with the ground floors allocated for retail shopping, the lower floors would have been luxury condo-hotels and the upper floors will be luxury condominiums.

Creole Kosher Kitchen was a kosher restaurant in the city of New Orleans. The restaurant, which was located in the French Quarter, was forced to close following severe devastation from the hurricane that ultimately led to the relocation of the family business to Los Angeles.Creole Kosher Kitchen was started in 2000 by Gideon Daneshrad, also known as Chef Gideon, a local businessman who had operated several area shops. Gideon's goal was to provide an escape from the non-kosher food that filled the tourist area of New Orleans. The food served replicated the style of traditional New Orleans food, minus non-kosher ingredients such as shrimp and crawfish. The location was a popular hangout for Jewish and non-Jewish travelers alike, and was one of the only kosher restaurants in the city. When Katrina struck, the Daneshrads, a well-known family in the New Orleans area, traveled to Los Angeles, where members of their family lived. Following the storm, they returned briefly to New Orleans to assess the damage to their property. Soon after, they permanently settled in Los Angeles, where Chef Gideon contemplated bringing his recipes to the area. Following Katrina, the other kosher restaurants in the Greater New Orleans area reopened. Creole Kosher Kitchen, however, has remained closed. An Italian cafe currently operates out of its former location.
