Place St. Charles

National American Bank Building is a 23-story 325 feet (99 m)-tall skyscraper in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, It was completed in 1929 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It is topped with a distinctive 6-story octagonal tower with a golden Art Deco finial. Its address is 200 Carondelet Street. Originally a commercial building, it was renovated for use as a residential building after Hurricane Katrina.

The New Orleans Cotton Exchange was established in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1871 as a centralized forum for the trade of cotton. It operated in New Orleans until closing in 1964. Occupying several buildings over its history, its final location, the New Orleans Cotton Exchange Building, is now a National Historic Landmark.

Hibernia Bank Building, at 812 Gravier Street at the corner of Carondelet Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 23-story, 355 feet (108 m)-tall skyscraper. It was once the headquarters of Hibernia National Bank. At the time it was completed in 1921, it was the tallest building in Louisiana. In 1932, the state capitol took that title.In 2006, Hibernia Bank began to vacate the building and move its offices to Place St. Charles. Only the retail bank in the lobby remained in service. 313 Carondelet, a joint venture of Historic Restoration Inc. and Woodward Interest LLC is converting the building into 176 mixed-income apartments and two floors of offices.The white tower atop the building remains a familiar part of the skyline, and during holidays is lit up with colored lights—red and green for Christmas and purple, green, and gold for New Orleans Mardi Gras. It once served as a navigational beacon for ships on the Mississippi River.

The Hennen Building, also known as the Canal-Commercial Building, Maritime Building, and briefly the Latter & Blum Building, is an 11-story, 158 feet (48 m)-tall skyscraper in New Orleans, Louisiana USA. Individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), the building is located at 800 Common Street at the uptown lake corner with Carondelet Street. It is also NRHP-listed as a contributing building in New Orleans' Central Business District. The building is New Orleans' first and oldest skyscraper, holding the title of the city's tallest building from 1895-1904. It was built as a 10-story Chicago style skyscraper; the eleventh floor was added in 1922.The building was sold in November 2006 to architect/developer Marcel Wisznia. Historically an office building, in September 2009, Wisznia | Architecture + Development initiated the renovation and conversion into a mixed-use building with two floors of commercial space below 105 luxury apartments, known as The Maritime Apartments. Wisznia utilized both state and federal historic tax credits along with new markets tax credits to realize the project, as part of the revitalization of the New Orleans' Central Business District.The building was sold to Orange Lake Resorts in March 2019. The property was converted into timeshares and branded as Holiday Inn Club Vacations New Orleans Resort, which opened in December 2020.

Hilton New Orleans/St. Charles Avenue, located at 333 St. Charles Avenue in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, is a 20-story, 246 feet (75 m)-tall skyscraper and part of the Hilton Hotels chain. The building was originally the Masonic Temple, but was sold in 1992 and redeveloped as Hotel Monaco until Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It did not reopen after Katrina. The hotel reopened in 2007 as a Hilton. Hilton New Orleans/St. Charles Avenue was also inducted into Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, in 2015.

The Pickwick Club is a private gentlemen's club in New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 1857, The Pickwick Club and the Mistick Krewe were originally one group comprising two organizations. After The Boston Club, The Pickwick Club is the second oldest remaining in the city.

The Four Winds is a combination commercial and luxury apartment building in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, developed by Kailas Companies. The building rises 270 feet (90 m). It contains 19 floors, and was completed in 1927. In 2015, after significant renovations, the building was reopened with its original facade to match Emile Weil's original stylings. The Four Winds currently stands as the 34th-tallest building in the city.

International House is a boutique hotel in New Orleans’ central business district, located two blocks from the French Quarter, at 221 Camp Street. Described by Frommer's as “a modern space that still pays tribute to its locale,” its design mixes contemporary and traditional elements reflective of New Orleans’ unusual culture. Immaculate Conception church, locally known as Jesuit church, is a Roman Catholic church in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The church is located at 130 Baronne Street, and is part of the local Jesuit community. The present church, completed in 1930, is a near duplicate of an earlier 1850s church on the same site.

Hancock Whitney Center, formerly One Shell Square, is a 51-story, 697-foot (212 m) skyscraper designed in the International style by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, located at 701 Poydras Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. It is the tallest building in both the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana, and is taller than Louisiana's tallest peak, Driskill Mountain. The building is primarily used for leasable office space, with some retail space on the ground level. The design of the building is very similar to Houston's One Shell Plaza and Denver's Republic Plaza, as well as Rochester's Five Star Bank Plaza, all designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Hines Interest is the developer of Hancock Whitney Center and Lincoln Property Company. Shell Oil Company is the building's largest tenant. The building was renamed in 2018. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places that same year.

First National Bank of Commerce Building, located at 210 Baronne Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 19-story, 252-foot (77 m)-tall skyscraper. Currently, the building is slated to be home of the Kailas Tower condominium and apartment development, by New Orleans developer Mohan Kailas.

The JW Marriott New Orleans is a 331 feet (101 m), modern 30-story high-rise hotel in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The 4-star, 501-room hotel currently stands as the 13th-tallest building in the city, and the 3rd-tallest hotel.
