Loft 523 is a boutique hotel located at 523 Gravier Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the New Orleans Central Business District. The building was erected in the 1880s as a carriage and dry-goods warehouse, and it was purchased and renovated by real-estate developer Sean Cummings. It features eighteen loft style guestrooms, three of which are penthouses.

International House is a boutique hotel in New Orleans’ central business district, located two blocks from the French Quarter, at 221 Camp Street. Described by Frommer's as “a modern space that still pays tribute to its locale,” its design mixes contemporary and traditional elements reflective of New Orleans’ unusual culture. It is known for historic Beaux-Arts architecture and its Loa Bar, which serves signature cocktails prepared by bartender Alan Walter. International House has been called New Orleans’ first boutique hotel.

Sheraton New Orleans is a 49-story, 490-foot (149 m) tall skyscraper that is located at 500 Canal Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The Sheraton is the 6th tallest building in New Orleans, and the hotel is part of Marriott International. The hotel was evacuated when Hurricane Katrina struck the city in 2005. There were 1,000 people in the hotel during the storm, and they were taken to the Sheraton Park Central in Dallas, TX. Only two of the 1,100 rooms in the hotel suffered damage, and most of the rooms were being occupied by contractors, medical professionals, and members of the press.

The JW Marriott New Orleans is a 331 feet (101 m), modern 30-story high-rise hotel in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The 4-star, 501-room hotel currently stands as the 13th-tallest building in the city, and the 3rd-tallest hotel.

Banks' Arcade was a multi-use commercial structure in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. The building on the block bounded by Gravier Street, Tchoupitoulas Street, Natchez Street, and Magazine Street, in the district then known as Faubourg Sainte Marie, later known as the American sector and now called the Central Business District. The building's central axis, originally called Banks' Alley or the Arcade Passage, is now a walk street called Arcade Place within Picayune Place Historic District.

The Pan-American Life Building, located at 601 Poydras Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 28-story, 322 feet (98 m)-tall high-rise building. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, it was built in 1980 as the headquarters for the Pan-American Life Insurance Co. In December 2006, Pan-American sold the building to Equastone, a California real estate company. The Hotel Intercontinental, which adjoins the Pan-American Life Center and is owned by the insurance company, was not included in the sale to Equastone.In December 2010, Stirling 601 Poydras, LLC, an entity composed of local investors led by Stirling Properties, acquired the Pan-American Life Center in New Orleans, Louisiana from Equastone Real Estate Investment Advisors, a private real estate investment firm in San Diego, California.

The Trump International Hotel and Tower was a proposed residential tower located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. It was a project of real estate mogul Donald Trump's Trump Organization. Supposedly in the planning stages from summer 2005 on, the project was finally declared dead in July 2011 after the location land was foreclosed on and sold at auction. If constructed, the Trump Tower would have become the tallest building in the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana, at seventy stories. At a height of 716 feet (218 m) along with a 126-foot (38 m) spire, it would also be the tallest building along the Gulf Coast outside of Houston, as well as the tallest point in the state of Louisiana. (Louisiana's highest peak is Driskill Mountain, at 535 feet.) It was planned to be a multi-use building with the ground floors allocated for retail shopping, the lower floors would have been luxury condo-hotels and the upper floors will be luxury condominiums.

New Orleans Marriott, located at 555 Canal Street in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 42-story, 449 feet (137 m)-tall skyscraper. The Marriott is the seventh tallest building in New Orleans. Millionaire alleged murderer Robert Durst had been staying at the hotel when he was arrested by FBI agents on March 14, 2015.

Theatre de la Rue Saint Pierre or Le Spectacle de la Rue Saint Pierre, was the first (French-speaking) theatre in New Orleans in Louisiana, active in 1792-1810. It opened in 1792 and was known to the Spanish-speaking citizens as El Coliseo and to the French-speaking citizens, La Salle Comedie. It was described as a small building of native lumber near the center of the city. It was located on the uptown side of St. Peter Street between Royal and Bourbon Streets, in what is now called the French Quarter.

Creole Kosher Kitchen was a kosher restaurant in the city of New Orleans. The restaurant, which was located in the French Quarter, was forced to close following severe devastation from the hurricane that ultimately led to the relocation of the family business to Los Angeles.Creole Kosher Kitchen was started in 2000 by Gideon Daneshrad, also known as Chef Gideon, a local businessman who had operated several area shops. Gideon's goal was to provide an escape from the non-kosher food that filled the tourist area of New Orleans. The food served replicated the style of traditional New Orleans food, minus non-kosher ingredients such as shrimp and crawfish. The location was a popular hangout for Jewish and non-Jewish travelers alike, and was one of the only kosher restaurants in the city. When Katrina struck, the Daneshrads, a well-known family in the New Orleans area, traveled to Los Angeles, where members of their family lived. Following the storm, they returned briefly to New Orleans to assess the damage to their property. Soon after, they permanently settled in Los Angeles, where Chef Gideon contemplated bringing his recipes to the area. Following Katrina, the other kosher restaurants in the Greater New Orleans area reopened. Creole Kosher Kitchen, however, has remained closed. An Italian cafe currently operates out of its former location.

Hilton New Orleans/St. Charles Avenue, located at 333 St. Charles Avenue in the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, is a 20-story, 246 feet (75 m)-tall skyscraper and part of the Hilton Hotels chain. The building was originally the Masonic Temple, but was sold in 1992 and redeveloped as Hotel Monaco until Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It did not reopen after Katrina. The hotel reopened in 2007 as a Hilton. Hilton New Orleans/St. Charles Avenue was also inducted into Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, in 2015.

The St. Charles Theatre was a theater in New Orleans, United States, between 1835 and 1967. It was founded by James H. Caldwell to replace the Camp Street Theatre and was for a time the only English theater in New Orleans. It was considered the finest theater building in America in 1835. It burnt down in 1842 but was rebuilt in 1843, then burnt and rebuilt a third time in 1899. In the late 1870s, it was purchased by Gilbert R. Spalding and David Bidwell with the intent of restoring the theater to its previous first-rate position, but those plans were ended by Spalding's death in 1880. It was segregated until the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1875 and a few days later civil rights activists and legislators T. B. Stamps and Aristede Dejoie attended play that was reported in newspapers across the country.
