Miami Riverwalk

The Riverfront is an urban development in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex is located on the north bank of the Miami River in Miami's Central Business District. The complex contains three main towers, "Mint" and "The Ivy" and "Wind." The taller of the three, Mint, is currently the 6th-tallest building in Miami and Florida. It has 55 floors and rises 631 feet (192 m).

The Miami Line is an urban-scale multicolored neon-light installation, designed by Rockne Krebs, in the U.S. city of Miami, Florida, stretching 1,540 feet (470 m) along the Metrorail bridge over the Miami River. When Krebs created the first phase of The Miami Line in 1984, it was 300 feet (91 m) long. Because of to its great popularity, the piece was greatly expanded in 1988 to a total of 1,540 feet (470 m). Since its creation, The Miami Line has become a signature element of the downtown Miami skyline and has been featured in countless photographs. Krebs stated that "the Miami Line was conceived as a means to generate visual drama and create an identifying element which is unique to Miami by simply enhancing what is already present". The Miami Line will be restored in phases starting in fall/winter 2014. Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places, a program of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs has developed a plan to recreate the work in LED lighting, which will replicate the visual effect of neon and will make the work resistant to train vibrations.

Wind Tower is a skyscraper in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. It was completed in early 2008 and, it is the third skyscraper within the River Front East complex, on the north bank of the Miami River. The structure is located on the northeastern most quadrant of the complex, with most proximity to the intersection of SE 3rd Street and Miami Avenue. Standing at 501 ft (153 m) tall, the tower has a total of 41 floors. The ground level is used for retail space and the main entrance and lobby areas. The garage utilizes floors 2 through 8, with high security and restricted to residents only. The 9th and 10th houses the building's recreation center, consisting of a pool area, racquetball court, fitness and spas and wellness facilities. Floors 11-41 are used for the standard residential units, while floors 3, 5 and 7 house a limited number of double-floor lofts. The architect is Revuelta Vega Leon, who also designed the rest of the River Front East complex.

Latitude on the River is a complex of residential and office towers in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex consists of the 44-story north tower (476 ft / 145 m) Latitude on the River and the 35-storey, 113 meter south tower NeoVertika (both completed in 2007), as well as the 93-metre (305 ft) office building Latitude One. The complex is located on the southern banks of the Miami River in downtown. The building was one of the three Miami Riverfront luxury condominiums that sued manufacturers for Faulty Fire Sprinkler Systems. Also, found defective Chinese drywall in 29 of its units when the association hired an engineering firm to confirm the presence of the imported drywall through x-ray analysis and laboratory testing. Defective drywall is strongly associated with the release of foul-smelling sulfurous gases that damage building materials, appliances, pipes and other equipment, according to the federal government. The building sat largely empty during the recession as the Related Group, one of South Florida's premier condo developers, desperately tried to sell units, at one point offering a one-year lease of a Mini Cooper to buyers.

The Tobacco Road was a bar in the Brickell area of Downtown Miami, Florida. It was popularly known as the oldest bar in the city. The liquor license it amended was first issued in November 1912 (though property records show the building as being built in 1915, as a bakery) and operated nearly continuously since its opening, having been shut down briefly at times for run-ins with the law, such as when the upstairs, now a live music venue, was used as a speakeasy during Prohibition. Tobacco Road was located at 626 South Miami Avenue, on the south side of the Miami River, putting it in Miami's Brickell district, where it was classified as a classic dive bar, being popular among locals. Tobacco Road celebrated its 100th anniversary in November 2012. In 2012, the land on which Tobacco Road lies was purchased for $12.5 million. On October 26, 2014, Tobacco Road closed and was demolished by Thunder Demolition Inc. An estimated 4,000 people came on its last night.

Miami Shipbuilding, (Miami Shipyards Corp), was boatyard in Miami, Florida founded in 1939. The Miami Shipbuilding was originally called Fogal Boat Yard. Fogal Boat Yard was founded in 1928 by Jay Fogal. Miami Shipbuilding had two boatyard sites one on each side of the Miami River. The main yard was between SW 2nd and 3rd Avenues. Miami Shipbuilding built many crash boats also called Air-Sea Rescue Boat, or ASR for World War II. They are also known for building early prototype PT boats: PT-1 and PT-2.

Brickell City Centre is a large mixed-use complex consisting of two residential high-rise towers, two office buildings, a high-rise hotel, and an interconnected five-story shopping mall and lifestyle center covering 9 acres (36,000 m2) located in the Brickell district of Downtown Miami, Florida. Situated at the junction of Miami Avenue and Eighth Street, it spans up to five blocks to the west of Brickell Avenue and to the south of the Miami River. Contrary to the name, the development is not in the traditional downtown Miami city centre, but in the more recently redeveloped financial district of Brickell. The retail shopping and lifestyle center is operated by Simon Malls. Brickell City Centre, which cost an estimated $1.05 billion, was completed in 2016. It was first proposed during the real estate bubble of the 2000s, but then cancelled during the economic downturn following the Great Recession. It was revived in 2012 with enough acreage to qualify for Special Area Plan (SAP) zoning with construction beginning by year's end. The hotel and residential towers, as well as some office space, opened in 2016. Phased retail openings started in November 2016.

Solitair Brickell is a high-rise apartment building in the Brickell district of Miami, Florida, USA. It contains 420 apartments and is about 555 feet (169 m) high with 48 floors when completed in 2017. The building was built in the place of a ramp to a parking garage to an adjacent 1980s office building known as the Brickell Bayview Center during a wave of high-rise residential development in the Greater Downtown Miami area in the 2010s. The building is adjacent to Brickell City Centre, a large mixed-use development completed in 2016.

Fifth Street is a Metromover station in the urban neighborhood of Brickell in Downtown, Miami, Florida. This station is located on Southeast Fifth Street near First Avenue. It opened to service May 26, 1994. Fifth Street station serves green spaces like Brickell Park and the Miami River Greenway, as well as towering residential buildings such as Brickell on the River, Icon Brickell, and 600 Brickell Tower.

The Palm Cottage (also known as Flagler Worker's House) is a historic home in Miami, Florida. It is the last known building in Miami directly associated with railroad magnate and developer Henry M. Flagler. It is also one of the city's few surviving examples of Folk Victorian architecture. Built around 1897, this house was one of at least 30 rental houses that Flagler constructed as homes for the workers building his Royal Palm Hotel. The building was moved to Fort Dallas Park in 1980, located at 60 Southeast 4th Street. On January 4, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Riverwalk is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida near the northern banks of the Miami River and adjacent to the Miami Riverwalk. This station is located on Southeast Fourth Street just east of First Avenue. It opened to service May 26, 1994. The red "M" placed as an entranceway to the station was designed by Roberto Behar and Rosario Marquardt.

Third Street is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida, adjacent to the Downtown Distributor freeway. This station is located at 3rd South West Street and 250th South Miami Avenue, opening to service May 26, 1994.
