The Riverfront is an urban development in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex is located on the north bank of the Miami River in Miami's Central Business District. The complex contains three main towers, "Mint" and "The Ivy" and "Wind." The taller of the three, Mint, is currently the 6th-tallest building in Miami and Florida. It has 55 floors and rises 631 feet (192 m).

Third Street is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida, adjacent to the Downtown Distributor freeway. This station is located at 3rd South West Street and 250th South Miami Avenue, opening to service May 26, 1994.

The Palm Cottage (also known as Flagler Worker's House) is a historic home in Miami, Florida. It is the last known building in Miami directly associated with railroad magnate and developer Henry M. Flagler. It is also one of the city's few surviving examples of Folk Victorian architecture. Built around 1897, this house was one of at least 30 rental houses that Flagler constructed as homes for the workers building his Royal Palm Hotel. The building was moved to Fort Dallas Park in 1980, located at 60 Southeast 4th Street. On January 4, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Riverwalk is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida near the northern banks of the Miami River and adjacent to the Miami Riverwalk. This station is located on Southeast Fourth Street just east of First Avenue. It opened to service May 26, 1994. The red "M" placed as an entranceway to the station was designed by Roberto Behar and Rosario Marquardt.

The Miami Riverwalk is a pedestrian walkway located in Downtown Miami, Florida. It extends along the north side of the Miami River and the Biscayne Bay. It begins at Bayfront Park and ends one block west of the South West 2nd Street bridge where the path leads back to South West -North River Drive. The Riverwalk for years was blocked at two points along this route by developers, one block at the mouth of the river by a temporary sales office for the former Epic Residences & Hotel 2 Tower, now opened along the Aston Martin Residences. Another block was at the west side of the South Miami Avenue bridge by the One River Point Condo tower site at Riverfront. Similarly the Baywalk is blocked at several properties along Biscayne Bay on the north side of the downtown area. The Riverwalk passes under the Brickell Avenue Bridge, built in 1915, carrying Brickell Avenue, South Miami Avenue Bridge, Miami Metrorail, South West 2nd Street Bridge, and ends under the I-95 overpass. Since 2008, the Miami Riverwalk Festival has been held in November, which includes a lot of free and cultural entertainment. The Riverwalk is a part of a broader project known as the Miami River Greenway which also includes an incomplete greenway along the south side of the river.

The Miami Line is an urban-scale multicolored neon-light installation, designed by Rockne Krebs, in the U.S. city of Miami, Florida, stretching 1,540 feet (470 m) along the Metrorail bridge over the Miami River. When Krebs created the first phase of The Miami Line in 1984, it was 300 feet (91 m) long. Because of to its great popularity, the piece was greatly expanded in 1988 to a total of 1,540 feet (470 m). Since its creation, The Miami Line has become a signature element of the downtown Miami skyline and has been featured in countless photographs. Krebs stated that "the Miami Line was conceived as a means to generate visual drama and create an identifying element which is unique to Miami by simply enhancing what is already present". The Miami Line will be restored in phases starting in fall/winter 2014. Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places, a program of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs has developed a plan to recreate the work in LED lighting, which will replicate the visual effect of neon and will make the work resistant to train vibrations.

Fifth Street is a Metromover station in the urban neighborhood of Brickell in Downtown, Miami, Florida. This station is located on Southeast Fifth Street near First Avenue. It opened to service May 26, 1994. Fifth Street station serves green spaces like Brickell Park and the Miami River Greenway, as well as towering residential buildings such as Brickell on the River, Icon Brickell, and 600 Brickell Tower.

Brickell on the River is a complex of residential towers in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex consists of a 42-story North Tower, which was completed in 2005, a 46-story South Tower built in 2007, and a central plaza between both towers, containing a restaurant, riverfront promenade, and complex amenities. The North Tower took 31 months to build, as construction began in December 2003, and was completed in July 2006. The North Tower's official height is 423 feet (129 m) while the South Tower sits at 482 feet (147 m). Construction began in 2004, and opened in December 2007. The complex is located on the southern banks of the Miami River in Downtown Miami. The address is 31 SE 5th Street for the North Tower and 41 SE 5th Street for the South Tower. The Fifth Street Metromover Station, a station in Miami's mass transit system, is located immediately adjacent to the North Tower. Brickell on the River North features 390 condo units with the typical floor plan ranging from 757–1,512 square feet (70.3–140.5 m2) and the Brickell on the River South features 319 condo units with the typical floor plan ranging from 952–1,510 square feet (88.4–140.3 m2).

The Tobacco Road was a bar in the Brickell area of Downtown Miami, Florida. It was popularly known as the oldest bar in the city. The liquor license it amended was first issued in November 1912 (though property records show the building as being built in 1915, as a bakery) and operated nearly continuously since its opening, having been shut down briefly at times for run-ins with the law, such as when the upstairs, now a live music venue, was used as a speakeasy during Prohibition. Tobacco Road was located at 626 South Miami Avenue, on the south side of the Miami River, putting it in Miami's Brickell district, where it was classified as a classic dive bar, being popular among locals. Tobacco Road celebrated its 100th anniversary in November 2012. In 2012, the land on which Tobacco Road lies was purchased for $12.5 million. On October 26, 2014, Tobacco Road closed and was demolished by Thunder Demolition Inc. An estimated 4,000 people came on its last night.

Miami Avenue is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida. This station is located at the intersection of South Miami Avenue and First Street. It opened to service April 17, 1986. Unlike some Metromover stations, it is not a free-standing structure, but instead, is built into the surrounding buildings as a "bridge" over Miami Avenue, adjacent to Miami's Macy's flagship store.

The James L. Knight Center is a contemporary entertainment and convention complex located in Downtown Miami, Florida. Located within the Miami Central Business District, the venue opened in 1982. The complex is named after famed newspaper publisher, James L. Knight. Since its opening, the complex has hosted many business, entertainment and political events. Annually, it hosts Miami Dade College graduation ceremonies. It also hosted Miss Universe in 1984 and 1985, Miss USA in 1986 and Miss Teen USA in 1985 and the OTI Festival in 1989.

Knight Center is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida located in the Miami Tower. This station is located at the intersection of Southwest Second Street and Second Avenue, connected to the namesake James L. Knight Center by a glass-enclosed walkway underneath the Downtown Distributor freeway. Knight Center opened April 17, 1986 as the World Trade Center Station, and was the first elevated metro station in the world built into an existing building.
