Riverwalk is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida near the northern banks of the Miami River and adjacent to the Miami Riverwalk. This station is located on Southeast Fourth Street just east of First Avenue. It opened to service May 26, 1994. The red "M" placed as an entranceway to the station was designed by Roberto Behar and Rosario Marquardt.

Brickell on the River is a complex of residential towers in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex consists of a 42-story North Tower, which was completed in 2005, a 46-story South Tower built in 2007, and a central plaza between both towers, containing a restaurant, riverfront promenade, and complex amenities. The North Tower took 31 months to build, as construction began in December 2003, and was completed in July 2006. The North Tower's official height is 423 feet (129 m) while the South Tower sits at 482 feet (147 m). Construction began in 2004, and opened in December 2007. The complex is located on the southern banks of the Miami River in Downtown Miami. The address is 31 SE 5th Street for the North Tower and 41 SE 5th Street for the South Tower. The Fifth Street Metromover Station, a station in Miami's mass transit system, is located immediately adjacent to the North Tower. Brickell on the River North features 390 condo units with the typical floor plan ranging from 757–1,512 square feet (70.3–140.5 m2) and the Brickell on the River South features 319 condo units with the typical floor plan ranging from 952–1,510 square feet (88.4–140.3 m2).

The James L. Knight Center is a contemporary entertainment and convention complex located in Downtown Miami, Florida. Located within the Miami Central Business District, the venue opened in 1982. The complex is named after famed newspaper publisher, James L. Knight. Since its opening, the complex has hosted many business, entertainment and political events. Annually, it hosts Miami Dade College graduation ceremonies. It also hosted Miss Universe in 1984 and 1985, Miss USA in 1986 and Miss Teen USA in 1985 and the OTI Festival in 1989.

Fifth Street is a Metromover station in the urban neighborhood of Brickell in Downtown, Miami, Florida. This station is located on Southeast Fifth Street near First Avenue. It opened to service May 26, 1994. Fifth Street station serves green spaces like Brickell Park and the Miami River Greenway, as well as towering residential buildings such as Brickell on the River, Icon Brickell, and 600 Brickell Tower.

Third Street is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida, adjacent to the Downtown Distributor freeway. This station is located at 3rd South West Street and 250th South Miami Avenue, opening to service May 26, 1994.

Wind Tower is a skyscraper in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. It was completed in early 2008 and, it is the third skyscraper within the River Front East complex, on the north bank of the Miami River. The structure is located on the northeastern most quadrant of the complex, with most proximity to the intersection of SE 3rd Street and Miami Avenue. Standing at 501 ft (153 m) tall, the tower has a total of 41 floors. The ground level is used for retail space and the main entrance and lobby areas. The garage utilizes floors 2 through 8, with high security and restricted to residents only. The 9th and 10th houses the building's recreation center, consisting of a pool area, racquetball court, fitness and spas and wellness facilities. Floors 11-41 are used for the standard residential units, while floors 3, 5 and 7 house a limited number of double-floor lofts. The architect is Revuelta Vega Leon, who also designed the rest of the River Front East complex.

Knight Center is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida located in the Miami Tower. This station is located at the intersection of Southwest Second Street and Second Avenue, connected to the namesake James L. Knight Center by a glass-enclosed walkway underneath the Downtown Distributor freeway. Knight Center opened April 17, 1986 as the World Trade Center Station, and was the first elevated metro station in the world built into an existing building.

The Miami Tower is a 47-story, landmark office skyscraper in Miami, Florida, United States; previously known as the Bank Of America Tower and CenTrust Tower. It is located in central Downtown. It is currently the 16th tallest building in Miami and Florida. On April 18, 2012, the AIA's Florida Chapter placed it on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places as the Bank of America Tower. In 2022, the office skyscraper was purchased by DRA Advisors and CP Group, the largest office landlord in Downtown Miami and Florida.

The Riverfront is an urban development in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex is located on the north bank of the Miami River in Miami's Central Business District. The complex contains three main towers, "Mint" and "The Ivy" and "Wind." The taller of the three, Mint, is currently the 6th-tallest building in Miami and Florida. It has 55 floors and rises 631 feet (192 m).

Miami Avenue is a Metromover station in Downtown, Miami, Florida. This station is located at the intersection of South Miami Avenue and First Street. It opened to service April 17, 1986. Unlike some Metromover stations, it is not a free-standing structure, but instead, is built into the surrounding buildings as a "bridge" over Miami Avenue, adjacent to Miami's Macy's flagship store.

Epic Hotel is an urban hotel and residential skyscraper in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. Epic is 601 feet (183 m) tall and has 54 floors. The tower is located on the north bank of the Miami River in Downtown Miami's Central Business District. It is bordered by Biscayne Boulevard Way on the west, Southeast 2nd Street to the north, the Miami River to the south, and Southeast 5th Avenue to the east. The architect of the complex is Revuelta Vega Leon. Epic was part of the EPIC Miami Residences and Hotel two-tower residential complex, consisting of the Epic Tower and the Dupont Tower, but the taller of the two, Dupont Tower, was canceled. If it had been built, the Dupont Tower would have stood 609 ft (186 m) tall and contain 60 floors. The Dupont Tower was named after the Alfred I. DuPont Building, a National Historic Building from the 1930s that is also in Miami. In 2014, the 1.25-acre (0.51-hectare) Epic 2 site sold for US$125 million, a record-breaking rate of $100 million per acre.

The Tobacco Road was a bar in the Brickell area of Downtown Miami, Florida. It was popularly known as the oldest bar in the city. The liquor license it amended was first issued in November 1912 (though property records show the building as being built in 1915, as a bakery) and operated nearly continuously since its opening, having been shut down briefly at times for run-ins with the law, such as when the upstairs, now a live music venue, was used as a speakeasy during Prohibition. Tobacco Road was located at 626 South Miami Avenue, on the south side of the Miami River, putting it in Miami's Brickell district, where it was classified as a classic dive bar, being popular among locals. Tobacco Road celebrated its 100th anniversary in November 2012. In 2012, the land on which Tobacco Road lies was purchased for $12.5 million. On October 26, 2014, Tobacco Road closed and was demolished by Thunder Demolition Inc. An estimated 4,000 people came on its last night.
