Brickell City Centre

The Tobacco Road was a bar in the Brickell area of Downtown Miami, Florida. It was popularly known as the oldest bar in the city. The liquor license it amended was first issued in November 1912 (though property records show the building as being built in 1915, as a bakery) and operated nearly continuously since its opening, having been shut down briefly at times for run-ins with the law, such as when the upstairs, now a live music venue, was used as a speakeasy during Prohibition. Tobacco Road was located at 626 South Miami Avenue, on the south side of the Miami River, putting it in Miami's Brickell district, where it was classified as a classic dive bar, being popular among locals. Tobacco Road celebrated its 100th anniversary in November 2012. In 2012, the land on which Tobacco Road lies was purchased for $12.5 million. On October 26, 2014, Tobacco Road closed and was demolished by Thunder Demolition Inc. An estimated 4,000 people came on its last night.

SLS Lux is a 58-story skyscraper luxury apartment building and hotel in the Brickell district of Greater Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The building consists of 438 condo units and 86 hotel-condo units set atop a parking pedestal. SLS Lux is located at South Miami Avenue and Southeast Eighth Street, across from Brickell City Centre, at 801 South Miami Avenue. It is regarded as one of the best apartment buildings in its neighborhood by residents, with an array of opulent features from marble flooring throughout the common areas, two rooftop pools, an on-site spa and gym, private elevators to each residence, top-of-the-line appliances, modern finishes and 24 hour security and valet service.

Brickell City Centre, formerly known and still referred to as Eighth Street, is a Metromover station in the Brickell district of Downtown, Miami, Florida, 1 mile (1.6 km) east of Little Havana. This station is located on the Tamiami Trail (Southeast Eighth Street/US 41) near First Avenue. It opened to service May 26, 1994. Eighth Street station and its grounds received significant upgrades as part of Swire Properties' $1.05 billion Brickell City Centre project throughout its closure from August 2014 to November 2015. While the station reopened in 2015, the third floor connection to Brickell City Centre remained closed through October 2016.

Brickell Heights are two twin towers in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida. Together, the towers have 690 units with a ground floor Equinox Gym. Ground for the towers was broken in 2014 following the groundbreaking of SLS Brickell.The project was originally announced as The Premiere Towers during the 2000s' building boom but was cancelled due to financial reasons caused by the Great Recession. The project was re-announced by Related in October 2013 as Brickell Heights. A third tower, SLS Lux, is across Miami Avenue to the east. The site is about one block north of the Tenth Street Metromover Station. The project is directly adjacent on the east side of a 1980s office building, the Brickell Bayview Center, which is now nearly surrounded by high rises.

Solitair Brickell is a high-rise apartment building in the Brickell district of Miami, Florida, USA. It contains 420 apartments and is about 555 feet (169 m) high with 48 floors when completed in 2017. The building was built in the place of a ramp to a parking garage to an adjacent 1980s office building known as the Brickell Bayview Center during a wave of high-rise residential development in the Greater Downtown Miami area in the 2010s. The building is adjacent to Brickell City Centre, a large mixed-use development completed in 2016.

One Brickell City Centre is a proposed 80 story, 1,040 ft (317 m) office skyscraper in the city of Miami, Florida. The tower would be part of the existing nine-acre Brickell City Centre development. If built, One Brickell City Centre would be the tallest building in Miami and the Southeastern United States, surpassing the Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta. It would also surpass the height of the not yet constructed One Bayfront Plaza, which is approved at 1,010 ft (308 m) tall. Demolition on the existing structure is still underway as of January 2024.

The Shops at Mary Brickell Village is a lifestyle center located in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida. It has become a very popular downtown destination through bringing new stores and eateries to the area. Mary Brickell Village is served by the Miami Metrorail at Brickell Station and by the Metromover.

Fifth Street is a Metromover station in the urban neighborhood of Brickell in Downtown, Miami, Florida. This station is located on Southeast Fifth Street near First Avenue. It opened to service May 26, 1994. Fifth Street station serves green spaces like Brickell Park and the Miami River Greenway, as well as towering residential buildings such as Brickell on the River, Icon Brickell, and 600 Brickell Tower.

Brickell Bayview Center, also known as the Brickell City Tower, is a skyscraper in the Brickell financial district of Miami, Florida, USA, at 80 SW 8th Street. The building is about 330 feet (100 m) with 30 floors and was designed in 1984 by South Miami architectural firm, Hatcher, Zeigler, Gunn and Associates for the Japanese Development Corporation, originally as the World Trade Center Miami Tower. Completed in 1986, the floor-to-ceiling glass facade building once stood alone on the western side of Brickell, which at the time was home to mostly office towers and older low-rise residential buildings. After two residential high-rise building booms, the first in the 2000s, concurrent with the 2000s real estate bubble, and the second in the mid 2010s and early 2020s, the building was virtually surrounded by taller buildings. Solitair Brickell required demolishing a parking ramp to the base of the building to the northeast, Brickell Heights was built directly adjacent to the east, and Nine at Mary Brickell Village was built directly to the south of the building. To the west, even West Brickell saw significant mid-rise development in the 2010s, such as the West Brickell View low income senior housing two blocks to the west. In 2023, another building, the Brickell Gateway Tower, was proposed between it and Solitair. It is adjacent to the Brickell Metrorail and Metromover station. The building is also known as the Chase Building, naming rights for anchor tenant Chase Bank, which has a branch on the ground floor. It was once one of the tallest buildings in Miami until the mid 2000s, but by 2023 wouldn't even be in the top 150. The 285,595-square-foot (26,532.6 m2) building was sold in 2013 for US$70 million. The building was sold again in October 2018 for $117.25 million to the real estate arm of New York Life Insurance Company.

701 Brickell Avenue, is an office skyscraper in the Brickell district of Miami, Florida, United States. It is located on Brickell Avenue in the northern Brickell Financial District, just three blocks from Biscayne Bay. The tower was built in 1986 and opened as the Lincoln Center, it held that title until 2004. It currently goes by its address, which is 701 Brickell, because there was already a building in Miami at the time that claimed the Bank of America appellation, and therefore it could not take that name. However, that specific building has since been renamed the Miami Tower. The building is currently owned by TIAA–CREF, which purchased it in November 2002.

The Brickell World Plaza, also known as 600 Brickell, and formerly known as the Brickell Financial Center, is an office skyscraper in Miami, Florida, United States in the downtown neighborhood and financial district of Brickell at 600 Brickell Avenue. The former Brickell Financial Center Phase I, the Brickell World Plaza is a 520-foot (160 m) skyscraper, one of the tallest buildings in Miami. 600 Brickell is located between the Sixth Street and Seventh Street Metromover stations.The building contains 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2) of leasable floor space, an eleven-story parking garage with 927 spaces, and a 30,000-square-foot (2,800 m2) ground level public plaza.

Brickell Avenue is a north–south road that is part of U.S. Route 1, in Miami, Florida, just south of the Miami River. North of the Brickell Avenue Bridge, U.S. Route 1 is known as Biscayne Boulevard. Brickell Avenue is the main road through the Brickell financial district of Downtown Miami and is considered the Park Avenue of Florida. Brickell Avenue is lined with high-rise office buildings and residential condominiums, as well as many banks and restaurants. It is also famed for "Millionaire Row's" home to a cluster of Miami's most expensive residences. It is a grid plan main north–south thoroughfare through the south part of Miami's central business district.
