High Breeze Farm

Wawayanda State Park is a 34,350 acres (139.0 km2) state park in Sussex County and Passaic County in northern New Jersey. The park is in Vernon Township on the Sussex side, and West Milford on the Passaic side. There are 60 miles (97 km) of hiking trails in the park, including a 20 miles (32 km) stretch of the Appalachian Trail. The park is operated and maintained by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. The hiking trails are maintained and updated by the New York - New Jersey Trail Conference. The park is part of the Northeastern coastal forests ecoregion. It is home to the red-shouldered hawk, the barred owl and the great blue heron, and includes 1,300-foot (396 m) Wawayanda Mountain and glacially-formed, spring-fed Wawayanda Lake with a swimming beach and boat launch and group camping. The 1,325 acres (5.36 km2) Bearfort Mountain Natural Area is a part of the park, with Terrace Pond at 1,380 feet (420 m) near the top. The mountain forest includes swamp hardwood, hemlock and mixed hardwood and chestnut oak forest communities; some rock outcrops have a 360-degree view of the surrounding highlands. 2,167 acres (8.77 km2) Wawayanda Swamp Natural Area is an Atlantic white cedar swamp with a mixed oak-hardwood forest and a lake and Laurel Pond. 399 acres (1.61 km2) Wawayanda Hemlock Ravine Natural Area is a 300 feet (91 m) ravine formed by Doublekill Creek surrounded by a hemlock and mixed hardwood forest. The Appalachian Trail is located on the western edge of the area.

Maple Hill is a mountain in northeastern Sussex County, New Jersey. The summit rises to 1,224 feet (373 m). The Appalachian Trail passes Maple Hill, but does not ascend to the summit. It is part of the New York–New Jersey Highlands of the Appalachian Mountains.

Warwick Valley High School (WVHS) is located on Sanfordville Road outside the Village of Warwick, New York, United States. It educates students in grades 9 through 12 in the Warwick Valley Central School District, which covers most of the village and town of Warwick, including the hamlet of Pine Island. Students in those portions of the town near the village of Florida and the village of Greenwood Lake attend other high schools. A referendum to send students from the latter community to WVHS failed in 2007.

Wawayanda Creek (pronounced "way way yonda") is the name of Pochuck Creek above its confluence with the tributary Black Creek. It is 17.0 miles (27.4 km) long. Wawayanda Creek, via Pochuck Creek, is a tributary of the Wallkill River in Sussex County, New Jersey in the United States. It starts northeast of Warwick, New York, and runs southwest, mostly within Orange County, flowing into New Jersey for several miles to its confluence with Black Creek just north of Highland Lakes, forming Pochuck Creek, which flows north back into New York.

Upper Greenwood Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in Passaic and Sussex counties, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It includes residential neighborhoods around the northern and central parts of its namesake lake. It is primarily in West Milford Township in Passaic County but extends to the northwest into Vernon Township in Sussex County. It is bordered to the west by Wawayanda State Park, to the southeast by Abram S. Hewitt State Forest, and to the northeast by the town of Warwick in Orange County, New York. The lake drains to the northeast into Long House Creek, which descends into New York and joins Wawayanda Creek, a west-flowing tributary of Pochuck Creek, which in turn runs north to the Wallkill River, a northeast-flowing tributary of the Hudson. The Upper Greenwood Lake community was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

The General John Hathorn Stone House is located on Hathorn Road in the town of Warwick, New York, United States, just off NY 94 a mile south of the village of Warwick. It was built by Hathorn in 1773 but expanded considerably in the mid-19th century.It is on a 14-acre (5.6-ha) lot, the remainder of the original 300 acres (120 ha) Hathorn and his family farmed. In 2001 it and an early-19th-century outbuilding were listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Jeremiah Morehouse House is located on Hathorn Road in Warwick, New York, United States, just off NY 94. It is a wooden house that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. It is on a 9-acre (3.6 ha) lot adjacent to the General John Hathorn Stone House, also listed on the Register. The house was originally built in 1767 by Abijah Morehouse, an early settler of the Warwick region who had arrived from Connecticut, and parts of it reflect English building traditions more common there. His descendants, particularly his son Jeremiah, extensively renovated it in the early 19th century, adding elements of that era's dominant Greek Revival style.

Pochuck Creek is an 8.1-mile-long (13.0 km) tributary of the Wallkill River in Orange County, New York and Sussex County, New Jersey, in the United States.Pochuck Creek is called Wawayanda Creek (pronounced "way way yonda") above its confluence with the tributary Black Creek.Wawayanda Creek starts northeast of Warwick, New York, and runs mostly within Orange County, dipping into New Jersey for several miles and joining Black Creek just north of Highland Lakes. Pochuck Creek then turns north and returns to New York.

Highland Lakes is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Vernon Township, in Sussex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 4,933. Highland Lakes has its own Post Office with the ZIP Code 07422.

Amity is a hamlet in the town of Warwick, New York, United States. It is located between Edenville and Pine Island, near the New Jersey state line. Amity is served by the Amity Station of the Pine Island Fire Department. The Amity Presbyterian Society was founded in 1796 and, after 213 years, celebrated its last service on April 26, 2009. The church, located on Newport Bridge road near Amity Road, became home to Vision Community Church until December 2010. Vision moved to the Park Avenue Elementary school in Warwick, NY after the Amity property was put up for sale.

The Warwick Village Historic District is located in the center of the village of Warwick in the U.S. state of New York. It takes up an irregularly-shaped 130 acres (42 ha) of residential and commercial neighborhoods centered on NY 94 and 17A). Buildings within the district reflect Warwick's growth over almost two centuries, from its origins as a rural settlement in colonial times through its mid-19th century industrialization as a rail hub to its development as a weekend summer resort town in the early 20th century. It was designated as a historic district and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Warwick is a village in Orange County, New York, United States, in the southeastern section of the town of Warwick. The village's population was 6,652 at the time of the 2020 census. It is part of the New York–Newark–Bridgeport, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area.
