Duntisbourne Rouse is a village and civil parish in Gloucestershire, England. It lies in the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 70.

Daglingworth is a Gloucestershire village in the valley of the River Dunt, near the A417 road connecting Gloucester and Cirencester. As with many smaller villages in the Cotswolds, most of the buildings are now private houses. Other properties are the church, the village hall, a stable & horse riding centre and Bridge Farm. The Church of the Holy Rood in the village is an Anglo-Saxon church with well-preserved stone carvings, including an Anglo-Saxon crucifixion tablet dating to 1015. There is also a canonical sundial on the south wall. The population taken at the 2011 census was 265.

It is approximately 10.5 miles (16.9 km) southeast of Gloucester and approximately 4.5 miles (7.2 km) northwest of Cirencester. The village was recorded as Duntesborne: Lyre Abbey in the Domesday Book, the name coming from the Old English for "stream of a man called Dunt" and the fact the hamlet belonged to the Abbey of Lyre in Normandy. Nutbeam Farmhouse is a Grade II* listed building, dating in part from the 15th century, and part of the former monastic estate. Duntisbourne Leer sits in 'The Duntisbournes' parish, a string of four pretty villages along the valley of the Dunt Stream. Duntisbourne Abbots is the largest village, south of which is Duntisbourne Leer, followed by Middle Duntisbourne and Duntisbourne Rouse. At Duntisbourne Leer, Dunt Stream is shallow and crosses the road, creating a Ford (crossing). The Dunt Stream flows into the River Churn near Cirencester, a tributary of the River Thames.

Its tower dates from Norman times, and has belfry lights of pierced stone lattice work that date from the 13th century. Inside the church, the font also dates from Norman times, while the unusual chancel arch dates from an extensive Victorian restoration.It also features in the title of µ-Ziq's 2007 album Duntisbourne Abbots Soulmate Devastation Technique.

The Five Mile House is a former pub on Old Gloucester Road, Duntisbourne Abbots, Gloucestershire, England. It was built in the 17th century and is grade II listed.The pub was on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.The inn is on the old Roman road of Ermin Street. Documents found from 1891 and 1903 referred to the pub as the Old Inn. The Five Mile House was owned and operated by the Ruck family from the 1930s until Ivy Ruck's death in 1995. The pub had bare wood floors, open fires and wooden seating, with a small bar leading through to the tap room. The pub was bought and refurbished by the Carrier family, and reopened in 1997. It closed in 2015, after the re-routing of the A419 had diverted much of the passing custom away. The building was converted into a private residence.

Pinbury was a hamlet in Gloucestershire, England. Pinbury is mentioned in the Domesday Book as containing 18 households. Pinbury contains the ruins of a twelveth century chapel, and possibly the remains of a Roman villa. Following the Norman Conquest, William the Conqueror gave the hamlet to the nuns of Caen in 1082. In 1416, it was transferred to the Bridgettines of Sion, Middlesex, who had a cell, and upon the Suppression, was granted to Andrew, Lord Windsor, in exchange for other lands. From him it passed by purchase to the family of Sir Henry Poole, of Saperton, and from that family to the family of Sir Rob. Atkins; and afterwards from the heir-general of that family, to Lord Bathurst, 1786. In 1803, Henry, Earl Bathurst, was the lord of the manor, with two-thirds of the property of the parish.
