Sung Wong Toi

Ma Tau Chung (Chinese: 馬頭涌 or 碼頭涌) is an area in Kowloon, Hong Kong, west of Ma Tau Kok and east of Ma Tau Wai. It was named after a creek (hence 涌, Chung, in the name) which originated in Quarry Hill emptying into Kowloon Bay. The village of Ma Tau Chung stood on its banks near the river mouth near the Sacred Hill. Ma Tau Chung Road is named after the historical place name. It is the major surface road for traffic between Kowloon City and other areas to the east, onwards through Prince Edward Road West and Prince Edward Road East, and areas in southern Kowloon, through Ma Tau Wai Road.

Holy Trinity Cathedral, in Kowloon, Hong Kong, is an Anglican cathedral for the Eastern Kowloon diocese. It was established in 1890, making it one of the oldest Anglican churches in Hong Kong. The cathedral is one of the three Anglican cathedrals of the Hong Kong Anglican church (the other two are St John's Cathedral and All Saints' Cathedral).

Sacred Hill (Chinese: 聖山) is a disappeared hill in Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is where a historical boulder called Sung Wong Toi was previously located. Sacred Hill is also known as Hill of the King of Sung in some old maps. The name "Sacred Hill" is widely believed to be a name given by foreigners as no earlier corresponding Chinese name is known. It is believed that Emperor Duanzong of the Southern Song Dynasty had settled on the hill for a period of time when he was escaping from Yuan troops. The hill was partly flattened during the Japanese Occupation of Hong Kong, when the Japanese determined to expand the nearby Kai Tak Airport at the expense of the sacred hill. The rest of the hill was levelled during the 1950s for further airport expansion. The remaining part of the Sung Wong Toi relic was moved to the Sung Wong Toi Garden, immediately west of the former Sacred Hill. During work on the Kai Tak Development, many relics from the Song and Yuan periods have been found in the environs of Sacred Hill.

Sung Wong Toi is an underground MTR rapid transit station in Hong Kong on the Tuen Ma line, located in Ma Tau Chung in Kowloon City District. The station also serves Kowloon City and Ma Tau Wai via a pedestrian tunnel. The station was built as part of the Sha Tin to Central Link (SCL), and opened on 27 June 2021 along with the rest of phase 2 of the Tuen Ma line (Sung Wong Toi to Hung Hom). The station was constructed by a Samsung–Hsin Chong joint venture.

Evangel Hospital (Chinese: 播道醫院) in Hong Kong is a private hospital established in 1965. It was founded jointly by the Evangelical Free Church of America and the Evangelical Free Church of China. Evangel Hospital is particularly strong in the primary care field of medicine. The hospital is a member of the Hong Kong Private Hospitals Association (PHA), and is surveyed bi-annually by QHA Trent Accreditation, a UK-based major international healthcare accreditation scheme.

Ma Tau Wai Estate (Chinese: 馬頭圍邨) is a public housing estate in Ma Tau Wai, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is the oldest existing public housing estate in Kowloon City District and it consists of five residential blocks completed in 1962 and 1965. Although it was developed by Hong Kong Housing Authority, it is currently managed by Hong Kong Housing Society.

Ma Tau Wai (Chinese: 馬頭圍, originally 碼頭圍, historically 古瑾圍) is an area in the Kowloon City District, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was originally a walled village (Cantonese: Wai) between present-day Argyle Street and Prince Edward Road West, east of present-day St. Teresa's Hospital.The area of Ma Tau Wai is not as well-defined as the original village, as the geographic features have been lost. The Ma Tau Wai Road in To Kwa Wan does not pass through Ma Tau Wai proper, although it was originally intended to. Ma Tau Wai is sometimes referred to the area south of Argyle Street and north of To Kwa Wan.The public housing estate Ma Tau Wai Estate is named after the area / the original village.

Kowloon City District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is located in the city of Kowloon. It had a population of 381,352 in 2001, and increased to 418,732 in 2016. The district has the third most educated residents while its residents enjoy the highest income in Kowloon. It borders all the other districts in Kowloon, with Kwun Tong district to the east, Wong Tai Sin district to its northeast, Sham Shui Po district to its northwest, and Yau Tsim Mong district to its southwest. Kowloon City district covers approximately area of 1,000 hectares, and is mainly a residential area with the majority of its population living in private sector housing, including old tenement buildings, private residential developments and low-rise villas, while the rest of them mainly live in public rental housing and the Home Ownership Scheme estates. It is the only district that incorporated into the land of Hong Kong in different stages (Convention of Peking, Convention for the Extension of Hong Kong Territory and the demolition of the Kowloon Walled City) The district includes many notable areas of Kowloon, such as Ho Man Tin, Hung Hom, Kai Tak Airport, Kowloon Tong, Ma Tau Wai, To Kwa Wan, and Whampoa Garden, and the proper Kowloon City, from where it derives its namesake.

Kai Tak Tunnel, formerly known as the Airport Tunnel, is a tunnel in New Kowloon, Hong Kong, which connects the Kowloon Bay and Ma Tau Kok areas by going beneath the former Hong Kong International Airport (Kai Tak Airport). It is part of Route 5. The tunnel provides a quick link between the two ends of the tunnel, as before the construction of the tunnel vehicles had to detour through Kowloon City to reach the other end. Kai Tak Tunnel is currently managed by Greater Lucky (H.K.) Company Limited.

Argyle Street Camp was a Japanese World War II prisoner-of-war camp in Kowloon, Hong Kong, which primarily held officer prisoners.

Hong Kong Eye Hospital, located in Kowloon City District, Hong Kong, is a secondary and tertiary eye referral centre, and also the house of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The hospital provides training programmes in ophthalmology for medical students of both the CUHK and the University of Hong Kong.

Cattle Depot Artist Village is located on 63 Ma Tau Kok Road, Ma Tau Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The site was originally used as a slaughterhouse from 1908 to 1999. It was renovated and developed into a village for artists in 2001. It is now home to around 20 art groups.
