Moravian Church is a historic church building located on Swedesboro-Sharptown Road in the Oliphant's Mill (Porches Mill) section of Woolwich Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. The church was dedicated in 1789 and documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) in 1938. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 3, 1973, for its significance in architecture and religion. The property is currently under the stewardship of the Gloucester County Historical Society.

Auburn Road Vineyards is a winery in Pilesgrove Township in Salem County, New Jersey. The vineyard was first planted in 2004, and opened to the public in 2007. Auburn Road has 19 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 4,200 cases of wine per year. The winery is named for road near where it is located.

The James and Mary Lawson House is located at 209 North Main Street in Woodstown of Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1869 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 16, 2001, for its significance in architecture.

Joseph Shinn House is located in Woodstown, Salem County, New Jersey. The house was built in 1742 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 7, 1979, for its significance in architecture and politics/government.

Auburn is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It includes the Auburn section of Oldmans Township and extends southeast to include rural and semi-suburban land in Pilesgrove Township.It is in northern Salem County, bordered to the northeast by Oldmans Creek, which separates the community from Woolwich Township in Gloucester County. The New Jersey Turnpike passes through the northern part of the CDP, just south of Auburn village. The nearest turnpike access is 7 miles (11 km) to the southwest at the southern terminus of the highway near the Delaware Memorial Bridge, or 6 miles (10 km) to the northeast at Exit 2 near Swedesboro. Auburn was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,057.

Woodstown is a borough in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 3,678, an increase of 173 (+4.9%) from the 2010 census count of 3,505, which in turn reflected an increase of 369 (+11.8%) from the 3,136 counted in the 2000 census. Woodstown was established on July 26, 1882, from portions of Pilesgrove Township based on the results of a referendum held that same day. The borough's incorporation was confirmed on March 3, 1925. The borough was named for early settler Jackanias (or Jaconias) Wood.

The Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District is a comprehensive regional public school district serving students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade form five communities in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The district serves students from Woodstown and Pilesgrove Township for K-12, along with students from neighboring Alloway Township, Oldmans Township and Upper Pittsgrove Township who attend the district's high school as part of sending/receiving relationships. A majority of public school students in grades 9-12 from Oldmans Township attend Penns Grove High School as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District, with the balance attending Woodstown High School. As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of four schools, had an enrollment of 1,425 students and 126.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.3:1. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 543 students and 49.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.1:1. There were 71 students (13.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 11 (2.0% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch. Students from neighboring Alloway, Oldmans and Upper Pittsgrove townships attend the high school as part of sending/receiving relationships. WGLS-FM (89.7 MHz), known as Rowan Radio, is a college radio station licensed to Rowan University. The studios are located in the College of Communication on the campus of Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. WGLS-FM is Gloucester County's only FM radio station. WGLS's programming features a variety of music, sports, cultural, educational programs focused towards the interest of the Rowan University and South Jersey communities. The call letters for WGLS hearken back to the former name of the institution: W GLassboro State College. The station has won numerous local and national awards, including being named "College Station of the Year" by the National Association of College Broadcasters in 1997.

The Cowtown Rodeo is a famous rodeo in the United States which started in 1929. The event is at 7:30 on Saturday nights from May through September. In 1957 and 1958, Cowtown was syndicated on national television. It is located in Pilesgrove Township, New Jersey and Woodstown, New Jersey. Grant Harris and his family have been running the rodeo every Saturday night during the summer months since 1955, when it was first staged as a weekly event.

The Salem County Vocational Technical Schools (SCVTS) is a countywide vocational and technical public school district, serving the educational needs of residents of Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The district offers programs on both a full-time and shared-time basis in cooperation and partnership with the county's elementary and secondary schools, local and regional colleges and universities, for both school-aged students and adults. As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its one school had an enrollment of 738 students and 43.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 17.0:1.

Chestnut Run Farm is a winery in Pilesgrove Township in Salem County, New Jersey that produces Fuji apple and Asian pear wines. The apple and pear trees were first planted in 1986 as part of a specialty produce farm. Chestnut Run began sales of its wine in 2007, and opened a tasting room in 2012. Chestnut Run has 5 acres of fruit trees under cultivation, and produces 700 cases of wine per year. The winery is named for the Chestnut Run, a stream that borders the farm.
