Joseph Shinn House

The James and Mary Lawson House is located at 209 North Main Street in Woodstown of Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1869 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 16, 2001, for its significance in architecture.

Woodstown is a borough in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 3,678, an increase of 173 (+4.9%) from the 2010 census count of 3,505, which in turn reflected an increase of 369 (+11.8%) from the 3,136 counted in the 2000 census. Woodstown was established on July 26, 1882, from portions of Pilesgrove Township based on the results of a referendum held that same day. The borough's incorporation was confirmed on March 3, 1925. The borough was named for early settler Jackanias (or Jaconias) Wood.

The Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District is a comprehensive regional public school district serving students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade form five communities in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The district serves students from Woodstown and Pilesgrove Township for K-12, along with students from neighboring Alloway Township, Oldmans Township and Upper Pittsgrove Township who attend the district's high school as part of sending/receiving relationships. A majority of public school students in grades 9-12 from Oldmans Township attend Penns Grove High School as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District, with the balance attending Woodstown High School. As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of four schools, had an enrollment of 1,425 students and 126.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.3:1. The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "FG", the fourth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

Woodstown High School is a comprehensive community public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Woodstown and Pilesgrove Township, in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 543 students and 49.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.1:1. There were 71 students (13.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 11 (2.0% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch. Students from neighboring Alloway, Oldmans and Upper Pittsgrove townships attend the high school as part of sending/receiving relationships. A majority of public school students in grades 9-12 from Oldmans Township attend Penns Grove High School as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District, with the balance attending Woodstown High School.

Zaccheus Dunn House is located in Woodstown, Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1743 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 10, 1977.

Seven Stars Tavern is a historic building located at the junction of Sharptown-Swedesboro Road and Woodstown-Auburn Road in Pilesgrove Township of Salem County, New Jersey and near Woodstown. The building was built in 1762 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 17, 1976, for its significance in architecture, military, and social history. It is now a private residence.

Chestnut Run Farm is a winery in Pilesgrove Township in Salem County, New Jersey that produces Fuji apple and Asian pear wines. The apple and pear trees were first planted in 1986 as part of a specialty produce farm. Chestnut Run began sales of its wine in 2007, and opened a tasting room in 2012. Chestnut Run has 5 acres of fruit trees under cultivation, and produces 700 cases of wine per year. The winery is named for the Chestnut Run, a stream that borders the farm.

Salem County Insane Asylum is located in Mannington Township, Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1870 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 27, 2008.

The Pilesgrove Solar Farm is a 20-megawatt (MW, 26,800 hp) solar photovoltaic power plant, located in Pilesgrove Township, New Jersey, United States. The farm contains 71,000 ground-mounted solar panels and at the time of its construction was one of the largest solar farms in the northeast United States. The solar farm was developed by Dallas-based Panda Power Funds and Valhalla, New York-based Con Edison Development. In addition to the sale of electrical power, the companies are expected to generate an additional $11 million to $12 million per year in renewable energy certificates.

Auburn Road Vineyards is a winery in Pilesgrove Township in Salem County, New Jersey. The vineyard was first planted in 2004, and opened to the public in 2007. Auburn Road has 19 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 4,200 cases of wine per year. The winery is named for road near where it is located.

The Cowtown Rodeo is a famous rodeo in the United States which started in 1929. The event is at 7:30 on Saturday nights from May through September. In 1957 and 1958, Cowtown was syndicated on national television. It is located in Pilesgrove Township, New Jersey and Woodstown, New Jersey. Grant Harris and his family have been running the rodeo every Saturday night during the summer months since 1955, when it was first staged as a weekly event.

Moravian Church is a historic church building located on Swedesboro-Sharptown Road in the Oliphant's Mill (Porches Mill) section of Woolwich Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. The church was dedicated in 1789 and documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) in 1938. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 3, 1973, for its significance in architecture and religion. The property is currently under the stewardship of the Gloucester County Historical Society.
