Woodstown High School is a comprehensive community public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Woodstown and Pilesgrove Township, in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Regional School District. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 543 students and 49.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.1:1. There were 71 students (13.1% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 11 (2.0% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch. Students from neighboring Alloway, Oldmans and Upper Pittsgrove townships attend the high school as part of sending/receiving relationships. A majority of public school students in grades 9-12 from Oldmans Township attend Penns Grove High School as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District, with the balance attending Woodstown High School.

The district serves students from Woodstown and Pilesgrove Township for K-12, along with students from neighboring Alloway Township, Oldmans Township and Upper Pittsgrove Township who attend the district's high school as part of sending/receiving relationships. A majority of public school students in grades 9-12 from Oldmans Township attend Penns Grove High School as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District, with the balance attending Woodstown High School. Woodstown is a borough in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 3,678, an increase of 173 (+4.9%) from the 2010 census count of 3,505, which in turn reflected an increase of 369 (+11.8%) from the 3,136 counted in the 2000 census. Woodstown was established on July 26, 1882, from portions of Pilesgrove Township based on the results of a referendum held that same day. The borough's incorporation was confirmed on March 3, 1925. The borough was named for early settler Jackanias (or Jaconias) Wood.

Oldmans Creek is a 22.1-mile-long (35.6 km) tributary of the Delaware River in southwestern New Jersey in the United States.Oldmans Creek defines part of the western boundary between Gloucester and Salem counties. It starts just southwest of Glassboro, approximately one mile from the head of Raccoon Creek. It finishes in the lower Delaware River approximately four miles upstream from Penns Grove.

Wagonhouse Winery is a winery in South Harrison Township (mailing address is Swedesboro) in Gloucester County, New Jersey. Wagonhouse's original vineyard was first planted in 2004 in Mickleton, also in Gloucester County. The winery began sales of its wine in 2005, and opened a tasting room in South Harrison in 2011. Wagonhouse has 10 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 7,000 cases of wine per year. The winery is named for an old wagon house that is on their farm.

WGLS-FM (89.7 MHz), known as Rowan Radio, is a college radio station licensed to Rowan University. The studios are located in the College of Communication on the campus of Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. WGLS-FM is Gloucester County's only FM radio station. WGLS's programming features a variety of music, sports, cultural, educational programs focused towards the interest of the Rowan University and South Jersey communities. The call letters for WGLS hearken back to the former name of the institution: W GLassboro State College. The station has won numerous local and national awards, including being named "College Station of the Year" by the National Association of College Broadcasters in 1997.

The Pilesgrove Solar Farm is a 20-megawatt (MW, 26,800 hp) solar photovoltaic power plant, located in Pilesgrove Township, New Jersey, United States. The farm contains 71,000 ground-mounted solar panels and at the time of its construction was one of the largest solar farms in the northeast United States. The solar farm was developed by Dallas-based Panda Power Funds and Valhalla, New York-based Con Edison Development. In addition to the sale of electrical power, the companies are expected to generate an additional $11 million to $12 million per year in renewable energy certificates.

The South Harrison Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade from South Harrison Township, in Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of one school, had an enrollment of 315 students and 32.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.8:1.The district participates in the Interdistrict Public School Choice Program at South Harrison Township Elementary School, having been approved in July 2001 to participate in the program. As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of two schools, had an enrollment of 2,868 students and 207.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.8:1. Schools in the district (with 2020–21 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics) are Kingsway Regional Middle School with 1,023 students in grades 7-8 and Kingsway Regional High School with 1,802 students in grades 9-12. Under a 2011 proposal, Kingsway would have merged with its constituent member's K-6 districts to become a full K-12 district, with various options for including Logan Township as part of the consolidated district.
