The rivière du Moulin is a tributary of chenal de l'Île d'Orléans, flowing in the municipality of Saint-Pierre-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, in the L'Île-d'Orléans Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. The lower part of this small valley is served by Chemin Royale (route 368) which bypasses all of Île d'Orléans. Besides the area near the main road, agriculture is the main economic activity in this small valley. The surface of the Moulin river is generally frozen from the beginning of December until the end of March, except the rapids areas; however, safe circulation on the ice is generally done from mid-December to mid-March. The water level of the river varies with the seasons and the precipitation; the spring flood occurs in March or April.

L'Ange-Gardien is a municipality in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada. It is part of La Côte-de-Beaupré Regional County Municipality. L'Ange-Gardien changed status from parish municipality to ordinary municipality on May 17, 2007.

Moulin du Petit-Pré, also known as Moulin de Monseigneur-de-Laval, is a water-powered flour mill in Château-Richer, Quebec, Canada on the north shore of the St. Lawrence river about 20 kilometres northeast of the City of Québec. It is the oldest commercial flour mill in North America. The mill was built for the Seminary of Quebec under the auspices of Bishop François de Laval. Construction began in 1691 and was completed by 1695. At various times in its 325-year history, the mill has been used to grind wheat, mill lumber, and cord wool. It was damaged or destroyed by fire three times. The mill currently serves as a cultural and historical landmark in Quebec.

Saint-Laurent-de-l'Île-d'Orléans (pronounced [sɛ̃ lɔʁɑ̃ də lil dɔʁleɑ̃]) is a municipality in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada, part of the L'Île-d'Orléans Regional County Municipality. It flows on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence river, in the unorganized territory of Lac-Jacques-Cartier, as well as the municipalities of Beaupré and Château-Richer, in the La Côte-de-Beaupré Regional County Municipality in the administrative region of Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. This small valley is served by the D'Auteuil road which passes on the east side of the river. Forestry is the main economic activity in this valley; second-hand tourist activities. The surface of the Sept Crans river is generally frozen from the beginning of December until the end of March; however, safe traffic on the ice is generally from mid-December to mid-March. The Île d'Orléans Bridge, known locally as the Pont de l'Île, is a suspension bridge that spans the Saint Lawrence River between the Beauport borough of Quebec City and Île d'Orléans (Orléans Island) in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is part of Quebec Route 368 and connects to Autoroute 40 on the north side. The island was originally accessible only by ferry or by ice bridge during the winter. An electoral promise made by Premier Louis-Alexandre Taschereau to Montmorency County for a job-creation project during the Great Depression led to the construction of this bridge in 1934. It was completed in 1935 and initially named Taschereau Bridge.The bridge, which uses under-deck trusses on the approaches to the main suspension-type span, is the farthest downstream of the Saint Lawrence River's fixed crossings, but it does not cross the entire river.
