Jones Tract

Holt is an unincorporated community in San Joaquin County, California, United States. Holt is located along an Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad line 7.5 miles (12.1 km) west of downtown Stockton. Holt has a post office with ZIP code 95234, which was established in 1902. The community was named after the Holt brothers, the founders of the Holt Manufacturing Company, which later became the Caterpillar company.

The 725 ha (1,790-acre) island is bounded on the west by Old River, on the north by Bacon Island, on the east by Middle River, and Woodward Canal on the south. Victoria Island is an island in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, 20 km (12 mi) southwest of Stockton. The 7,200-acre (2,900 ha) island is bounded on the north by North Victoria Canal, on the northeast by Middle River, on the southeast by Victoria Canal, and on the south- and southwest Old River. It is crossed by California State Route 4. It is in San Joaquin County, and managed by Reclamation District 2040. It appears on 1913 and 1952 United States Geological Survey maps of the area.

The Victoria Island structure is a 5.5 km (3 mi) bowl-shaped structure buried in the shale sediments of the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, 12 miles (19 km) west of Stockton, California. The circular structure is part of a former sea bed, and lies 1,490–1,600 meters (4,890–4,250 ft) below sea level.Discovered during oil exploration and reported at the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in Houston, Texas, in March 2007, it is thought to be a buried impact crater formed between 37 and 49 million years ago.Victoria Island, which the structure is named for, is in the San Joaquin River Delta at approximately 37.890°N 121.535°W / 37.890; -121.535. The current publications do not list a more precise location for the impact structure than the island.

Acker Island (also known as Lost Isle) is a small island in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta. It is part of San Joaquin County, California. Its coordinates are 37°59′51″N 121°26′56″W, and the United States Geological Survey measured its elevation as 3 ft (0.91 m) in 1981. It appears on a 1952 USGS map of the area.

Spud Island is a small island of the San Joaquin River, located in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta in northern California. It was once used to farm onions; while it is no longer used for agriculture, it remains inhabited. In the late 20th century it was the site of a county park, which offered camping, fishing and swimming amenities free of charge.

Indian Slough is a slough, tributary to the Old River, an old channel of the San Joaquin River in California. Its mouth is at an elevation of 7 feet (2.1 meters), at its confluence with the Old River. Its source is at its confluence with Kellogg Creek at an elevation of 7 feet (2.1 meters) at the location 37°54′58″N 121°36′18″W.
